In Hebrew every word has a very simple root on which even the most complex words are based. By looking into these roots we can slowly unfold the underlying meaning of even more complex concepts.
Where English translations of the Scriptures usually have to choose one specific word over another, a Hebrew word can have many different meanings at the same time that all group around a core idea.
Nurture & Mercy
The Hebrew word for faith is Emunah (אמונה). We usually think of faith as something which is connected to (organized) religion and may have many preconceived notions about it, but when we look at the root it might turn out to be something far more primal to our existence.
The word Emunah is based on the word Em (אם – mother). Like a mother who is feeding, teaching and loving her child, Emunah is an almost subconscious influence in our life that nurtures us and gently guides us in our journey through this world.
Most of us turn towards this sense of faith only during hard moments, hanging our hopes on a higher power that will help us overcome a certain difficulty or crisis and then we immediately tend to forget it when everything is fine again.
Whether we are aware of it or not is irrelevant, however, since this sense of faith is always already there, like a fetus inside the womb is also not aware of the mother’s existence, and yet she constantly provides for all its needs.
The Hebrew word for womb is rechem (רחם) which shares the same letters with the word mercy (רחמים – rachamim), meaning that like a fetus grows in a mothers’s womb, we grow here in this world in a surrounding influence of mercy. In other words, there’s a hidden aspect of life which always supports and nurtures us, giving us exactly what we need at the right moment and in the right portion.
Although we may not always be in agreement with the general conditions of any given moment in time, the sense of faith is what aligns us with the intent of goodness behind these conditions.
It’s like when sometimes in life we desperately want something specific to happen which refuses to occur and only many years later we are grateful that things didn’t go our way, because we realize it wasn’t what we needed. This realization is an aspect of mercy.
Instead of going through constant cycles of desperation, frustration and waiting for the realization many years later, faith is a way to experience this completeness in each and every moment. Students of Hebrew will know that the word for “complete” (שלם – shalem) shares the same root with the word for “peace” (שלום – shalom), i.e. inner peace is a sense of completeness.
After all, as the old sages say, if already a human mother here in this world cares for a child and wants only the best for it, how much vaster is this caring and compassion in a spiritual sense?
Life Is Not Something To Be Managed
Another word that shares the same root with Emunah is of course “Amein” (אמן), the affirmation used to seal blessings and prayers in many languages around the world.
How is it that this particular Hebrew word, which strictly speaking can not be translated, is still adopted by millions of people from very different cultures?
An old commentary mentions that the word Amein is an abbreviation of the Hebrew phrase “El Melech Ne’eman” (אל מלך נאמן – towards a loyal king), meaning that all our thoughts, hopes and wishes shall be turned towards one source of goodness and mercy.
Whether we use the image of a king, or a mother, the idea here is the same: that our life is not something to be managed, to be “good at”, or to “be figured out”, but a journey towards gently coming into contact with this origin of love, hope and completeness.
6 But without emunah it is impossible to please Him: for he that comes to YHUH must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those that diligently seek Him.
This Hebrew word study is about the meaning of the Hebrew word שַׁבָּת, ‘shabbat’ meaning ‘Sabbath’ Strong’s 7676, and gives every verse where the Hebrew word “shabbat” appears.
To obtain a true understanding of this word these scriptures need to be meditated on and notes made of their meaning in different contexts.
This requires putting scriptures together where they seem to have a similar meaning, and then meditating even more. The truth will be revealed by the Set-Apart Spirit, who has been given to guide us into all truth (John 16:13).

46:4 And the burnt offering that the prince shall offer to YAHUAH in the Sabbath day shall be six lambs without blemish, and a ram without blemish.
46:12 Now when the prince shall prepare a voluntary burnt offering or peace offerings voluntarily to YAHUAH, one shall then open him the gate that looks toward the east, and he shall prepare his burnt offering and his peace offerings, as he did on the Sabbath day: then he shall go forth; and after his going forth one shall shut the gate.
Hosea 2:11 I will also cause all her mirth to cease, her feast days, her new moons, and her Sabbaths, and all her appointed feasts.
Amos 8:5 Saying, When will the new moon be gone, that we may sell corn? And the Sabbath, that we may set forth wheat, making the ephah small, and the shekel great, and falsifying the balances by deceit?
Most know that the Hebrew word Shalom is understood around the world to mean “peace.” However, “peace” is only one small part of the meaning. “Shalom” is used to both greet people and to bid them farewell, and it means much more than “peace, hello or goodbye”….
Hebrew words go beyond their spoken pronunciation. Each Hebrew word conveys feeling, intent and emotion. Shalom is more then just simply peace; it is a complete peace. It is a feeling of contentment, completeness, wholeness, well being and harmony.
According to Strong’s Concordance 7965 Shalom means completeness, wholeness, health, peace, welfare, safety soundness, tranquility, prosperity, perfectness, fullness, rest, harmony, the absence of agitation or discord.
Shalom comes from the root verb shalom meaning to be complete, perfect and full. In modern Hebrew the obviously related word Shelem means to pay for, and Shulam means to be fully paid.
Of course, there is only one way to find TRUE Shalom – and that is in the Word of YAHUAH. Many search for fulfillment, happiness and contentment in material possessions, money, sex, entertainment, etc. But those things do nothing to fill “that little hole in our soul” that only YAHUAH can fill!
Those things only serve to distract and prevent us from finding true Peace…the Shalom that can only come from Him who created and put all things into place.
If you’ll recall, YAHUSHA is called Sar Shalom, Prince of Peace, which perfectly describes the ministry and personality of our Messiah, Yesha’yahu (Isaiah) 9:6.
And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.
And, lo, the angel of YAH came upon them, and the glory of YAHUAH shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.
And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good news of great joy, which shall be to all people.
For unto you is born this day in the city of David the Saviour, which is YAHUAH the MASHIACH. (1)
And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a cukkah.
And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising YAH, and saying,
Glory to YAHUAH in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
LUQAS (LUKE) 2:8-14
(1) One of the most powerful statements about YAHUAH and His MASHIACH in the entire Hebrew/Aramaic NT. YAHUAH is the real MASHIACH, who chose the vessel of YAHUSHA the man. However, within YAHUSHA the man is an occurrence of the One Divine Nature of YAHUAH, also known as the RUACH HA’QODESH (Holy Spirit). This is the literal meaning of the fullness of YAHUAH dwelling inside MASHIACH, and in accordance with Tanakh prophecy Yesha’hau (Isaiah) 53, Zakaryahu (Zechariah) 12:10. The divine and human natures exist separately yet side-by-side within YAHUSHA.
In other words, the word Shalom is a mighty blessing on several levels!
Mishlei (Proverbs) 18:21 tells us there is life or death in the power of the tongue. Therefore, whenever you employ the word “Shalom” you are speaking into someone’s life all the wonderful things that Shalom means!
And YAHUAH spoke unto Mosheh, saying, Speak unto El-Aharon and unto his sons, saying,
On this wise ye shall bless את eth-the children of Yisrael, saying unto them,
YAHUAH bless you, and guard you: YAHUAH make his face shine upon you, and be gracious unto you:
YAHUAH lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace.
And they shall put my name upon the children of Yisrael; and I will bless them.
BEMIDBAR (NUMBERS) 6:22-27

Each of the 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet has a special meaning and a story to tell. The Hebrew letters spelling the word “Shalom” are Shin Lamed Uau Mem sofit. Taken together, and reading from right to left, they spell SHALOM.
SHIN is the 21st letter of the Hebrew alphabet and it has a numerical value of 300. SHIN means TOOTH, YEAR, REPEAT, TEACH. SHIN makes the sound SHHHHHH when the DOT is on the right, and SSSS when the DOT is on the left. Shin is one of 7 letters which may be adorned with Tagin, or little crowns, in the Torah, Tefillin or Mezzuzah scroll.
LAMED is the 12th letter of the Hebrew alphabet and has a numerical value of 30. Lamed makes a sound like the L in Like. Lamed means both TO LEARN and TO TEACH. The Lamed is the tallest and most majestic of all the letters. Since LAMED means LEARNING, it would seem that this would constitute a direct connection between LAMED, LEARNING and YAHUAH.
UAU is the 6th letter, has a numerical value of 6, and is constructed of a single vertical line. Uau means HOOK and makes a sound like the V in Victory. When used as a vowel, Vav can sound like a long o or a long u. Translated it means AND. It is the GREAT CONNECTOR. Uau appears in the Four Letter name of YAHUAH our ELOHIYM – Yod Hay Uau Hay.
MEM is the 13th letter of the Hebrew alphabet and has a numerical value of 40. Mem makes a sound like the M in Middle. But according to the ancient text Sefer Yetzirah, the MEM hummmmmms! Mem is usually associated with the word mayim – WATER or Eemah – MOTHER. Mem is composed of a Caf (20) and a Vav (6) = 26, which have the same GEMATRIA as the Yod (10) Hey (5) Uau (6) Hey (5) = 26, name of YAHUAH – the holiest of Name of YAHUAH. The first word in Torah is Bere’shiyth, meaning: A BEGINNING. If you divide Bere’shiyth into bara and sheet, it means HE CREATED SIX (sheet is 6 in Hebrew/Aramaic) Six what? The 6 days in which creation was completed ….
In Portuguese it’s called “saudade” and means “the feeling of intense longing for a person or place.” The Chinese say “yuanfen.” And to the Swahili, “updendo” is affection and care.
The ancient Hebrew word “ahava” that is often translated as “love” in the Scriptures has a unique meaning too. Sadly, this amazing Hebrew word is hidden behind the nonchalant English term that everyone uses for everything. If only we would allow the Scriptures to be a type of dictionary could we really grasp this and other important concepts.
The Scriptures are full of teaching, history and laws. The Scriptures should also be our dictionary. This means we should allow the Scriptures to help us understand the words that it uses. The Scriptures should be used to interpret the Scriptures. And the Scriptures should be used to define words today. The best way to understand words like faith, hope, and love is through usage in the Scriptures and the original language of the Scripture – Hebrew. It is a living language. Hebrew is a power-filled force that helps us better know the Scripture and the Scriptures’s author. Each Hebrew letter is a sign, a symbol, a sound, and a number. By digging into the depths of the original language of the Scripture we can best grasp its message.
Love. The English term has many meanings. In modern thought love is an emotion that can be turned on and off like a light switch. The story is told of a young man who told his father at breakfast one morning that he was going to get married.
“How do you know you’re ready to get married?” asked the father. “Are you in love?”
“I sure am,” said the son. “How do you know you’re in love?” asked the father.
“Last night as I was kissing my girlfriend good-night, her dog bit me and I didn’t feel the pain until I got home.”
Love or “ahava” in the Hebraic mind is very different in today’s culture. In the Hebrew, love is connected directly with action and obedience. Strong’s Exhaustive Dictionary defines ahava as “to have affection, sexually or otherwise, love, like, to befriend, to be intimate.” It brings to mind the idea of longing for or breathing for another. Hebraically ahava is a verb and a noun, it is an act of doing. Ahava is not just a feeling. To get a clear understanding of ahava, let’s examine the Hebrew word itself and learn how to love Hebraically.
First, most Hebrew words can be broken down to a three-consonant root word that contains the essence of the word’s meaning. The root word of ahava is “ahav.” The term ahav in Hebrew means, “to give.” True ahava, true love, is more concerned about giving than receiving. Being the center of someone’s attention isn’t love. And love isn’t about getting some feeling or fix. Ahava is about giving devotion and time. Giving is the vehicle of love. YAHUAH so loved the world that He GAVE His only Son. Meaningful relationships have mutual giving. Love may focus on receiving, but ahava is all about giving. There is a difference. Consider that the Hebrew word “ahava” is not an emotion but an action. It is not something that happens “to you” but a condition that you create when you give. You don’t “fall” in love – you give love!
The Hebrew word “ahava” is spelled “aleph, hei, bet, hei.” The root word ahav is spelled “aleph, hei, bet.” These Hebrew letters reveal a secret of love hidden for thousands of years. This secret is exposed through the meaning behind each Hebrew letter in “ahav.” Hang on for some amazing and alarming Hebrew insights!
Hebrew is read from right to right to left. The first letter of the Hebrew alphabet is also the first letter in “ahav.” This is the aleph. The letter aleph is the number one. Aleph symbolizes the one and only Eternal ELOHIYM. In Revelation 22:13, YAHUSHA called Himself the Aleph and the Tav. Aleph is a picture of YAHUAH and His creation. There is one YAHUAH. YAHUSHA said that this is the number one commandment. “The first of all commandments is, Shema O Yisra’el; the Master YAHUAH is our ELOHIYM, the Master YAHUAH is Echad: and you shall love the Master YAHUAH with all your lev (heart), and with all your being, and with all your mind, and with all your strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like it, namely this; You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There are no other commandments greater than these,” Mark 12:29-31. Ahava starts with Aleph. Real ahava starts with loving YAHUAH first. Then, as a person has a relationship with YAHUAH, one can love his neighbor properly.
The next letter of ahav is the “hei.” The letter “hei” is the fifth letter of the aleph-bet. Five is the number of chesed/grace. It is highly symbolic. There are five books of the Torah, five fingers on the hand, and King David gathered five smooth stones to kill Goliath. It is through grace or chesed that YAHUAH loves us. Mankind loves YAHUAH back through the fifth letter hei. How? Ahava is shown to YAHUAH through hei – through the five books of the Torah. “If you love me, obey my mitzvoth / commandments. If a man loves Me, he will guard My words, and My Abba will love him, and We will come to him, and make Our stay with Him,” said YAHUSHA in John 14:15, 23. The hei is the means that a person expresses ahava. You love and give to YAHUAH by your actions of obedience.
The form of the letter hei, the number five shows how to correctly love YAHUAH and man. The three lines of hei are a picture of loving YAHUAH with thought, deed, and words. The top horizontal line is the realm of thought. A person’s thoughts should be focused upward on YAHUAH and His word. The vertical line to the right is speech. From the abundance of the heart/mind/horizontal line, the mouth speaks. Speech comes directly from thought. The unattached line to the left is deed. Though actions should be connected to our intentions, they often are not. “There are many plans in a man’s heart; nevertheless the counsel of YAHUAH shall stand,” Mishlei / Proverbs 19:21. Man is to unite the three lines through devotion and service. Loving YAHUAH with thoughts, words, and deeds is the goal of the hei.
The Beit is the second letter of the Hebrew alphabet. It is the third letter in “ahav.” This letter vividly demonstrates the purpose of all creation. How? Beit is a picture of a house.
YAHUAH created the world to be a dwelling place in this world below. The first letter in the Torah is a beit, found in the word “Beresheet.” And the tabernacle was made to create a bayit, or a house, for YAHUAH. “Know you not that you are the temple of YAHUAH, and that the Spirit of YAHUAH dwells in you?” 1 Corinthians 3:16. The objective of loving YAHUAH is to be conformed to His image and represent Him to the world. The two are to walk together. Beit, is also the number two. YAHUAH plus His servant equals two. Yet in the beit, the two shall become one. YAHUSHA said, “For where two, or three will assemble together in My Name, there am I in the midst of them,” Matthew 18:20. Ahava starts with loving YAHUAH first and foremost through word, deed, and thought. This type of ahava creates a house for YAHUAH to inhabit. You make a dwelling place or house for YAHUAH when you show love by giving to others.
In review, the Hebrew root word for love is “ahav,” spelled “aleph, hei, bet.” The aleph reminds us that we are to love YAHUAH first. Hei shows us to express that love by conforming our thoughts, words, and deeds to the five books of the Torah. When love is directed first to YAHUAH, then a beit, a house, is built to sustain His presence. Wow! Ahava is the greatest!
Remember that love is giving. It is not receiving. It isn’t even offering. It is giving. When you love someone you give time, attention, and all of yourself. To get a small glimpse of the Father’s love, just imagine giving up your favorite child to die in the place of a heinous death row inmate. That’s what He did for you. While you deserved to die for your sinful Torah breaking the Father gave His only Son to perish in your place. He also gave us His Torah and commandments so that we could love Him and love other people. Ahava is actually the reason for the Torah. “Love one another, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law. The commandments: Do not commit adultery; do not murder; do not steal, do not covet; and whatever other commandment—all are summed up by this: Love your neighbor as yourself. Love does no wrong to a neighbor. Love, therefore, is the fulfillment of the law,” Romans 13:8-10.
Ahava is the sum and goal everything in the Scripture. True ahava is rooted in deep relationships. You can’t intimately love someone unless you intimately know them. We know YAHUAH through His word. We connect with YAHUAH through acting out His will. Our love for YAHUAH is called obedience. Deuteronomy 11:1, “Love YAHUAH and keep his requirements, his decrees, his laws and his commands always.” When you really love YAHUAH you give Him every bit of your life. Your submission to the lifestyle of the Scriptures is the world’s proof that we love Him and are committed to YAHUAH. “This is how we are sure that we have come to know Him: by keeping His commands. The one who says, “I have come to know Him,” yet doesn’t keep His commands, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoever keeps His word, truly in him the love of YAHUAH is perfected. This is how we know we are in Him: the one who says he remains in Him should walk just as He walked,” 1 John 2:3-6.
The Messiah said that we prove our love to YAHUAH by obeying His commandments in John 14:15. He also said that we show the world we are His disciples by our ahava for one another. Acting kindly and showing goodness to other people is how unbelievers should be able to tell if we are righteous or not. James 2:8 says, “If you really keep the royal law found in the Scriptures then love your neighbor as you love yourself.” You are actually fulfilling the Law of YAHUAH when you carry someone’s burdens. The Hebrew word for commandment is “mitzvah.”
This term literally means “good deed.” When you obey the mitzvot you are doing good deeds towards other people. When you are acting in love, just one simple small act of kindness is equal to all the sacrifices in the Temple. Read that again… When you are acting in love, just one simple small act of kindness is equal to all the sacrifices in the Temple. Your gentleness to that special person in your family who drives you crazy is equal to perfectly observing the Sabbath, if love is your motivation.
Keeping the commandments is how we walk in YAHUAH’s love in this dark world. “If you keep my mitzvoth, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love,” said YAHUSHA in John 15:10. If you want to have the same oneness with YAHUAH as the Messiah had then you must love YAHUAH by submitting to Him. This is where love gets messy though. There are literally thousands of mitzvoth / commandments in the Scripture. The sages of Judaism have counted 613 commands just in the first five books of the Scriptures! A survey of the Newer Testament finds over 1,000 different and distinct directives. With so much to do, where is a person to start?
An answer to this important question can be found in Matthew 19. Here in this chapter a man comes to Messiah and asks how he can inherit eternal life. The Savior tells him to “keep the commandments” and then specifically discusses the 10 Commandments with him. It seems that the big 10 are good starting place until you read a little further. The young man said that he was blameless in his observance. YAHUSHA said he lacked something. What could be wrong with a person who had not broken YAHUAH’s divine law? Well, YAHUSHA tested the man by telling him to sell all he had, show his love to the poor, and then become a disciple. The man went away sad. Even though he had perfect Torah observance, he lacked love. We never read of him again in the Scriptures.
Love must be our motivation for any Torah keeping. Our submission to the 10 Commandments has to start with ahava. Obedience without love is lifeless religion that only leads to more death. Rules without relationship leads to rebellion. “Indeed, if you keep the royal law prescribed in the Scripture, Love your neighbor as yourself, you are doing well. But if you show favoritism, you commit sin and are convicted by the law as transgressors. For whoever keeps the entire law, yet fails in one point, is guilty of breaking it all. For He who said, Do not commit adultery, also said, Do not murder. So if you do not commit adultery, but you do murder, you are a lawbreaker. Speak and act as those who will be judged by the law of freedom. For judgment is without mercy to the one who hasn’t shown mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment,” James 2:8-13. How often do you look for opportunities to share the love of YAHUAH with other people? Get this major point – when you love your neighbor you are most like YAHUSHA.
The Jewish Talmud tells of a man who came to a rabbi and said he would convert if the rabbi could teach him the whole Torah while he stood on one foot. The Rabbi replied, “do to others what you want done unto you for this is the whole of Torah.” The man quickly converted as he learned Torah from that one passage and that one foot.
The letter of the law says “do not murder” but the Spirit of the Torah says to not create any circumstances where another person could be harmed. This is loving your neighbor as you love yourself.
We show our love to YAHUAH through obedience to His commandments. YAHUAH shows His love towards us through His grace. When a person is born again they receive the Father’s love through unmerited favor and mercy. Grace, or “chesed” in Hebrew, is YAHUAH’s gift of love to us. We don’t deserve it and we can’t earn it. Like the love a mother shows to a newborn baby, YAHUAH loves us though we have done nothing but cause Him pain. It is an unending love. “The people who survived the sword found grace in the wilderness; when Yahshar’el sought for rest, YAHUAH appeared to him from far away. I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you,” Jeremiah 31:2-3. YAHUAH’s chesed should empower us to be faithful during the stress of life. He has said, “my grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Again, YAHUAH loves us by showering his grace upon us on good and bad days.
The Hebrew people were chosen by YAHUAH from the entire world to be a royal priesthood and a peculiar people through His Torah. YAHUAH chose them and chose you because of His grace. Now you chose to love Him daily by following His commandments. Deuteronomy 7:7-9 tells us, “YAHUAH did not set His affection on you and choose you because you were more numerous than other peoples, for you were the fewest of all peoples. But it was because YAHUAH loved you and kept the oath He swore to your forefathers that He brought you out with a mighty hand and redeemed you from the land of slavery, from the power of Pharaoh King of Egypt. Know therefore that YAHUAH is ELOHIYM; He is faithful, keeping His covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love Him and keep His commands.” Accept the Torah as YAHUAH’s loving instructions for your life. Decide to love Him by loving people and making ahava your motivation. Do the mitzvoth to help others.
An amazing ahava story is found in Genesis 29 when Jacob worked for Rachel for many years. The years seemed to him but a few days, for the love he had for her. The Torah is not a burden when it is motivated by ahava. Walking in faithful obedience should simply be the overflow of our love to YAHUAH. In his book Mere Christianity, C.S. Lewis wrote, “Do not waste your time bothering whether you ‘love’ your neighbor act as if you did. As soon as we do this, we find one of the great secrets. When you are behaving as if you loved someone, you will presently come to love him. If you injure someone you dislike, you will find yourself disliking him more. If you do him a good turn, you will find yourself disliking him less.”
Love isn’t about getting some feeling or fix, it is about giving devotion and time. It is better to give than receive. And when true love is found a person is never the same. However, do you consider YAHUAH as your true love? “And now Yashar’el, what does YAHUAH your ELOHIYM require of you, but to fear YAHUAH your ELOHIYM, to have your walk in all His ways, and to love Him, and to serve YAHUAH your ELOHIYM with all your lev and all your being. To guard the mitzvot of YAHUAH, and His rulings, which I commanded you this day for your good,” Deuteronomy 10:12, 13. Moshe is saying that all YAHUAH wants from Yashar’el is love! He wants Yashar’el to be devoted to Him alone. He wants you!
It is simply amazing that what YAHUSHA called the “greatest commandment” in all of the Torah is usually ignored by most teachers, preachers, and even rabbis. Think about it. Just how many sermons have you heard on the subject of “loving YAHUAH?” How many Messianic Scripture studies have you attended when you discussed how to properly love the Creator? People will talk about tithing or church attendance but very little is studied on the issue of loving YAHUAH. Ahava is the commandment that is most important in YAHUAH’s eyes. YAHUAH wants His children to love Him properly. “And you shall ahava the Master YAHUAH with all your heart, and with all your being, and with all your mind, and with all your strength: this is the first commandment,” said Messiah YAHUSHA in Mark 12:29-31.
How do you love YAHUAH? How exactly can you love someone you can’t see or touch? What does it mean to love Him with all of your heart, being, and resources? To answer these questions let’s return again to the word “love” and better understand what YAHUAH desires.
First, take to mind that YAHUSHA never told us to “love YAHUAH.” This is because He never spoke English. The Jewish Messiah spoke Hebrew and said to “ahavta YAHUAH.” The puppy love of today’s English is much different than the devotion YAHUSHA called for when He spoke in Hebrew. Hebraically ahava is a verb; it is an act of doing something. It is not just a feeling. Ahava is also connected to appetite. To ahava YAHUAH is to crave Him and His Word. All throughout the Scripture ahava is related directly to Torah. Obedience to what the Torah commands is the way mankind loves YAHUAH. “If you love me, obey my mitzvoth. If a man loves Me, he will guard My words, and My Abba will love him, and We will come to him, and make Our stay with Him,” said Messiah YAHUSHA in John 14:15, 23. To ahavta YAHUAH, you must walk in submission to YAHUAH’s will and crave that your life is pleasing unto Him.
When you love YAHUAH then your deepest desire is to connect with Him. “Torah study is the way to discover this path of meaning. Torah Chayim – literally the book “instructions for living” is YAHUAH’s communication to the world. It’s the ultimate repository for wisdom on how to succeed at marriage, parenting, and community building, and fixing the world. That’s because Torah is the mind of ELOHIYM. The sign of successful Torah study is when it becomes an insatiable addiction. If something doesn’t make sense, you will rack your brains to figure it out. And every time you succeed in working it out, the pleasure makes you want more and more. This level is called ‘Ahavat torah’ – true love of Torah. You become so overwhelmed that Torah study becomes your very essence and you want to absorb as much as you can. Torah study ingrains in us the idea that ELOHIYM is the infinite source of all wisdom and defines the ultimate in “meaning.” Therefore personal goals and desires cannot compare, and you’ll drop anything which is not consistent with the will of YAHAUAH,” wrote one teacher.
Our Torah says, “You shall love YAHUAH your ELOHIYM with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your possessions.” When you love YAHUAH with all of your heart or “lev,” you are basically loosing self to Torah. This is when your will is totally compliant to Divine will in all areas of life. “To love ELOHIYM is not an emotional feeling. To love ELOHIYM the way He desires us to love Him, means to totally give ourselves over to Him – to surrender, to relinquish and to abandon ourselves to Him, regardless of how we feel, what we think or what we desire. It means to set aside our life, so that His Life can come forth from our hearts. A perfect Scripture that sums up what it means to ahava YAHUAH is Matthew 16:24, “If any man will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his execution stake and follow me,” wrote Chuck Missler in his book “The Way of Agape.”
Ahava means to “give.” When you love you give to others. YAHUAH so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son. This type of ahava changed the world. When you love in the same way your world can change too.
When you love YAHUAH with all of your soul you are reconnecting to the original intention of Torah. YAHUAH created man to be in direct communication and following the mitzvot restores this fellowship. To love YAHUAH is to obey Torah and therefore bridge the gap between man and the Almighty. When your actions line up with YAHUAH’s word it is like your soul is returning to the Gan Eden. Compliance with the commandments or “mitzvoth” creates an attachment to the eternal. In fact, according to Strong’s Exhaustive Dictionary the root word to the term “mitzvot” or “commandments” is “tsavah” which literally means to “constitute or enjoin.” The mitzvot of Torah enjoin Yashar’el back to YAHUAH.
But, if this is true, then the opposite is also true. Sin, or Torah breaking, separates humanity from the holy. Torahlessness reveals a lack of love for YAHUAH! Don’t miss this… “torahlessness reveals a lack of love for YAHUAH.” Sin is really an expression of love of self-more than love for YAHUAH. Loving YAHUAH with all of your soul is returning to the ancient paths and living the Word. It is becoming like YAHUSHA and being the “word made flesh.” This also means coming to grips with the issue of satisfaction.
Remember that the word “ahava” suggests craving. People have an inward craving and desire to love but they fill this void with love of stuff, or people, or self. When your soul is devoted to YAHUAH, you accept the emet that YAHUAH has not cheated us. The world only has an appearance of satisfaction – having money, “fitting in,” eating anything, and carefree living will never satiate your inner craving to love YAHUAH and receive His love.
Finally, to love YAHUAH with all of your resources or possessions is to serve Him with all that you have and all that you are. This type of ahava is deep. YAHUSHA once came in contact with a rich man who kept many of the mitzvot but did not fully devote himself to YAHUAH. “And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Tov Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal chayim? And YAHUSHA said unto him, why do you call me tov? No one is tov, except one, that is YAHUAH. You know the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honor your abba and your mother. And he said, All these have I kept from my youth up. Now when YAHUSHA heard these things, he said to him, yet you lack one thing: sell all that you have, and distribute unit to the poor, and you shall have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me. And when he heard this, he was very sorrowful: for he was very rich,” Luke 18:18-23. The man had to do something, to sell all he had and follow YAHUSHA, to prove his love for YAHUAH. The proof is the actions, not just the words.
Let’s look again to a quote from Deuteronomy – “Therefore ahavta YAHUAH your ELOHIYM and guard His charge, and His commandments always,” Deuteronomy/Devarim 11:1. Here the emet, the truth is very clear. To ahavta YAHUAH you will obey His commandments / mitzvot always. No matter what it cost. If you really love YAHUAH you will obey Him.
Have you accepted a counterfeit in place of loving YAHUAH? Are there areas in your life that you need to fully turn over to YAHUAH? Do you wish to really love Him, to really obey Him? Paul wrote that “these three remain: emunah (faith), hope (tikvah), and love (ahava) and the greatest of these is ahavah.” The main point of life is ahava. You have been granted breath to love others and to love YAHUAH. The word “ahava” helps us to finally understand YAHUAH’s true plan of love. Many doctrines have been put forth with regards to the 144,000. Every church has her own explanations and, or interpretations of the 144,000. Even in the internet, books and journals, many tried to convince the world their stories about the 144,000, right or wrong. We are not concern about what has been written, said or taught about the 144,000. We are not here to convince. We are concern about teaching the truth concerning the 144,000.
The 144,000 was only mentioned in Revelation chapter 7, 9, 14 and 22, respectively. No other scripture talks about it. So you would think information about the 144,000 is scanty and, or insufficient. Let me tell you the truth, in just the three or four passages of scriptures available, plenty of light has been shed on the 144,000 you’d be amazed. Do not get it wrong!
The 144,000 is a special group of privileged and QODESH (Set Apart) ones who are mentioned only in the book of Revelation. They are a Spiritual people–Spiritual Yisra’el (Israel)—and Paul tells us that Spiritual things are Spiritually discern, meaning, anyone who is not born of the RUACH (SPIRIT) cannot understand spiritual things or the thought of YAHUAH, the Almighty, Who is RUACH (SPIRIT). John 4:24. One cannot and does not need hermeneutics or exegesis to understand Devar YAHUAH or the Word of YAHUAH, for these are human or mortal efforts or inventions of fallen man–flesh and blood. Everyone NEEDS the RUACH HA’QODESH to “CAUSE” him to understand Devar YAHUAH, no human devices or inventions could–certainly not hermeneutics or exegesis. We shall identify the 144,000 base on the Scriptures in Revelation chapters 7 and 14, and also in Revelation 9:4 and 22:3, 4 and we shall reveal who they are. WHY THE 144000? THE SEALING!
It should be noted that the 144000 was first mentioned between the sixth and the seventh seal of Revelation chapters 6 and 8 and it is about the SEALING OF YAHUAH’s Servant. That tells something about the timing of the sealing of the 144000. Oh yes, it is a time before the four messengers were to unleash the harms (destructions), they were empowered to do to Planet Earth. YAHUAH ELOHIYM must SEAL His Servants before destruction or troublous time; or before destruction comes to Planet Earth.
In Revelation 7:1-4 we read:
“After this I saw four messengers standing at the four corners of the earth, holding fast the four winds of the earth that no winds might blow upon the land, or upon the sea, or upon any tree. And I saw another messenger ascending from the rising of the sun, holding the SEAL of the LIVING ELOHIYM; and he cried out with a loud voice unto the four messengers unto whom it has been given to injure the land and the sea, Saying, Do not injure the land, and the sea, or the trees, UNTIL WE HAVE SEALED THE SERVANTS OF THE LIVING ELOHIYM upon their foreheads. And I heard the number of the sealed, A HUNDRED AND FORTY-FOUR THOUSAND, sealed out of every tribe of the sons of Yisra’el (Israel).” Revelation 7:1-4
Here is the scenario. John saw, four messengers, standing at the four corners of planet earth. Then he saw another messenger ascending from the East who is holding the SEAL of the LIVING ELOHIYM, and he cried to the four others, do not hurt the land and the sea and the trees till “we” have seal the SERVANTS OF THE LIVING ELOHIYM UPON THEIR FOREHEADS. Before destruction comes to Planet Earth, YAHUAH ELOHIYM sends His messengers to take security measures concerning all His servants who are still here before the end of time–before the four other messengers are to unleash their vengeance on planet earth to hurt the land, the sea and the trees–the 144000 must be SEALED… The heavenly messengers who cried to the four others to hold back the harm they are about to unleash on Planet Earth was seen “holding the SEAL of the LIVING ELOHIYM. ” To him was given the task of SEALING the SERVANTS OF THE LIVING ELOHIYM. The 144000 are therefore, servants of the LIVING ELOHIYM in the end time history of planet earth who must be sealed before troublous time so that they could endure till the reappearance of their Master YAHUSHA HA’MASHIACH. None of them would see death–you would know why later as you read. They would be sealed so that no harm could come upon them, (see Mark 16:16-18 and Proverbs 18:10). This is significant! In Revelation 9:4 we read that when the fifth trumpet sounded a new specie of locust would come from the abyss which would torment man but they were bidden to hurt only those men who do not have the seal of YAHUAH upon their foreheads.. During end time, many catastrophes such as superstorms, earthquake and tsunami, famine and pestilences, predicted in Scriptures and more so in Revelation chapters 6 to 8 would transpire, and many shall die, hence YAHUAH need to seal His Servants so that they could endure to the very end of time.
WHO ARE THEY WHO THE MESSENGER WOULD SEAL? SERVANTS OF THE LIVING ELOHIYM! REV. 7:2-3
Now, here the excitement begins. The 144,000 are the servants of the LIVING ELOHIYM, (see Revelation 7:3.) and they would be SEALED ON THEIR FOREHEAD before the four messengers would unleash the four winds of the earth to hurt the land, sea and trees–time of trouble (Jacob’s trouble?) for planet earth.
In order to understand this better, three pertinent questions would suffice to unfold the truth.
1. Who is the Living ELOHIYM2. What is the Seal of the Living ELOHIYM3. Who are the servants of the Living ELOHIYM
To answer these question truthfully, we must refer to Devar YAHUAH or the Word of YAHUAH and let one Devar YAHUAH unlock another Devar YAHUAH. WHO IS THE LIVING ELOHIYM?
It was noted in Revelation 7:3 that the 144000 was sealed with the seal of the LIVING ELOHIYM on their forehead. Who then is the LIVING ELOHIYM? In Revelation 14:1 we noted that the 144,000 have His Name and the Father’s Name written on their forehead. Who is He and Who is the Father. This question was asked three thousand years back by the wise man in Proverbs 30:4. Who hath ascended into heaven and descended? Who hath… What is His Name and what is His Son’s name? He mentioned here, is obviously none other than the Lamb of YAHUAH, YAHUSHA HA’MASHIACH, Who is seen here with the 144000 on Mt Zion; Who is the Son of YAHUAH (YAH for short), and the Father is YAHUAH Himself and they are the One and Only LIVING ELOHIYM (Mighty Ones–the Father and the Son) who made the heavens and the earth and all that in them is, for there is no other ELOHIYM besides Him, neither is there any before nor after Him. No one could dispute that. All others are called God, or Lord, who have eyes that cannot see, ears that cannot hear and hands that cannot move. Therefore, they cannot create, suffice to say seal to save.
Besides, When you put the facts in these Scriptures together, the 144,000 were sealed by the Seal of the LIVING ELOHIYM on their foreheads in Rev. 7:2,3. In Revelation 14:1 we read that the 144,000 who stood on mount Zion with the lamb of YAHUAH has His and the Father’s Name on their forehead. By these we have established that the Father and His precious Son Whose Names are on the foreheads of these 144,000 are the LIVING ELOHIYM.
SHERMA O YISRA’EL (ISRAEL)!
There is only One True and LIVING ELOHIYM who made the heavens and the earth and all that in them is; there is no other ELOHIYM besides Him, neither is there any before nor after Him and YAHUSHA HA’MASHIACH Who comes from His bosom is His Only Beloved Son, the Lamb of YAHUAH Who takes away the sins of the world. This is in contrast with God made of wood and stone who have eyes that cannot see; mouth that cannot talk; ears that cannot hear and hands that cannot move, see Psalms Chapters 115 and 135. This is also in contrast with the one who disguise himself as the “God of this world.”
In 2 Kings 18 we read of a story of Sennacherib who came and took all the fortified cities of Yahudah (Judah). He then sent his military commanders to convince the Yahudiym (Jews) in Jerusalem to give in and not resist. He questioned the trust they put in Egypt and in horses and chariots. Then he challenged them not to trust in King Hezekiah and YAHUAH, the “LIVING ELOHIYM.” He compared YAHUAH to the idols of all the nations Assyria had then conquered. Hezekiah trusted in YAHUAH and so he summoned for Yesha’yahu (Isaiah) the Prophet. This is what is written in 2 Kings 19:4.
“It may be YAHUAH thy ELOHIYM will hear all the words of Rabshakeh, whom the king of Assyria his master hath sent to reproach the “LIVING ELOHIYM,” and will rebuke the words which YAHUAH thy ELOHIYM had heard, wherefore lift thou up a prayer, for the remnant that remaineth.”
In 2 Kings 19:16, King Hezekiah prayed thus:
Bow down, O YAHUAH, Thine ear and hear, open O YAHUAH Thine eyes and see, yea hear Thou the words of Sennacherib who hath sent, to reproach a “LIVING ELOHIYM.”
Yesha’yahu (Isaiah) the prophet came and gave the nervous King Hezekiah the good news. The next day, 18,500 Assyrian soldiers were dead and Sennacherib and his captains had to flee. A heavenly messenger came in the night before and executed all of them. Who is the LIVING ELOHIYM mentioned here? He is the same LIVING ELOHIYM Who is mentioned in Revelation 7:2 Who is sealing His servants prior to the harms coming to earth. His Name is YAHUAH or YAH for short; the same One and Only LIVING ELOHIYM who make the heavens and the earth.
There are many other Scripture references in which YAHUAH is known as the Living ELOHIYM, in Job, Psalms and the Prophets you could read for yourself. There is no disputing. Psalms 42:2 is a MASHIACH reference to Him as a Living ELOHIYM. Psalms 84:2 is another one. Jeremiah 10:10 declared of YAHUAH as the “ELOHIYM of truth, He is ELOHIYM that liveth…” YAHUAH is the Only One Who is the LIVING ELOHIYM I know.
WHAT IS THE SEAL OF ELOHIYM–THE FATHER’S NAME AND THE SON’S NAME
Revelation 7:2-4 mentioned the sealing of the 144,000 servants of the LIVING ELOHIYM with the SEAL of the LIVING ELOHIYM. It is also noted that the servants of ELOHIYM are sealed on their foreheads. In Revelation 14:1 John saw the 144,000 standing on Mt Zion with the Lamb of YAHUAH and they have His and the Father’s Name written on their forehead. The same is repeated in Revelation 22:3, 4. His servants shall render divine service to Him and they shall see His face and His name shall be upon their foreheads.
Putting these facts of the Scriptures together, since, the 144,000 are sealed with the SEAL of The LIVING ELOHIYM on their foreheads, Rev 7:3 and that the 144,000 who stood on Mount Zion with the Lamb have the Father and the Lamb’s Name written on their forehead, Rev. 14:1; the Seal of the LIVING ELOHIYM must be none other than the Names of the Father and His precious Son, YAHUAH and YAHUSHA.
In view of the preceding Scriptures, we have established that the seal of LIVING ELOHIYM is the Majestic and Magnificent Name of THE FATHER, and the Majestic and Magnificent NAME of His Precious Son, (Rev. 14:1), the symbol of Authority over the heavens and the earth, but what is His Name.
What is His name? This question was asked by the wise man three thousand years back and till today, not many people seems to know “what is His Name and what is His Son’s Name.” Proverbs 30:4. The answer is found in Psalms 68:4, His Name is YAH, short for YAHUAH. So YAH our Heavenly Father and His Son is the LIVING ELOHIYM and their Names “YAHUAH” and YAHUSHA respectively is the seal of the Living ELOHIYM. We now have proof that the SEAL of the Living ELOHIYM is the Names of our heavenly Father and His Son, YAHUAH and YAHUSHA respectively, not God or Lord, or Jehovah or Jesus. YAH is the short form of YAHUAH of our heavenly Father’s Name, the Greatest Name in the entire Universe. A sovereign Name, a Royal Name and a Majestic Name! “There is no other name under heaven given amongst men whereby we must be saved.” Act.s 4:12.
WHO ARE THE SERVANTS OF THE LIVING ELOHIYM?
Before destruction comes upon planet earth, the servants of the LIVING ELOHIYM would be sealed by His Name. They would be sealed and protected from the harms or destruction that shall come to Planet Earth during the troublous time–meaning they shall endure to the end, till YAHUSHA’s reappearance. How does one qualifies as a servant of the Living ELOHIYM? In the Written Word, a servant of the Living ELOHIYM is anyone who do His will. Anyone who is born into the Kingdom of YAHUAH is born to be His witnesses. They are His servants. All the prophets of old were the servants of the LIVING ELOHIYM. Avraham was said to be a prophet. He is also declared a Friend of the LIVING ELOHIYM by YAHUAH Himself. In the days of Yisra’el (Israel), two men who rose to prominence from the rest of all the prophets were Moshe and Eliyahu (Elias/Elijah), both had fought idolatries. Moshe led His people out of Egypt while Eliyahu (Elias/Elijah) challenged the false prophets of Baal and destroyed them. Moshe, whom YAHUAH pronounced must die would be raised in the resurrection of the dead at YAHUAH’s appointed time. Eliyahu (Elias/Elijah) requested to die but his prayer was answered in a most rewarding way. He did not see death; death has no power over him. Instead he was taken up in a chariot of fire.
Moshe represent those who from ages immemorial has died in the faith of YAHUSHA HA’MASHIACH who should be partakers of the first resurrection when YAHUSHA shall reappear. Eliyahu (Elias/Elijah) represent the 144000 who shall be caught up to meet YAHUSHA in the air when the last trump shall sound, and the dead shall be raised.
When scripture says that the Servants of ELOHIYM are sealed on their forehead, it simply means their minds and thoughts would be inscribed with the name of the Most High. His name is written in their head or mind. Faith in YAHUAH is needed to please Him–for those who come to Him, similarly belief (faith) in His Name is required for those who would be sealed by His Name. YAHUAH ELOHIYM would not seal anyone who do not believe in His Name, that is for sure. How could they be sealed with His QODESH Name if they do not glorify, honor and love His QODESH Name? How could they glorify, honor and love His QODESH name if they do not believe in His QODESH Name? How could they believe in His QODESH name if they do not know His QODESH Name? This is self-evident with those who preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and prayed to God; they do not know YAHUAH ELOHIYM and His Only Son, YAHUSHA HA’MASHIYACH.
Obviously, if YAHUAH is His Name and they are going to be sealed by His Name, then, His servants must be those who knew His Name; must be those who teach, preached and proclaimed the Father and the Son’s Name and there are only 144,000 whom YAHUAH our Heavenly Father shall CHOSE. In short, they are those who believe, love, honor, give esteem, praise and lift up His Name. Therefore, His Name is inscribed in their minds or thoughts as the forehead represent. Then they who revered YAHUAH conversed one with another; and YAHUAH hearkened and heard, and there was written a book of remembrance before Him, for them who revered YAHUAH, and for such as thought of His Name. Malaki 3:16. What do servants do? They serve! How? They preached and proclaimed His true Name, YAHUAH ELOHIYM. How could they proclaim His Name if they do not believe in His QODESH Name? Therefore, they must know and believe in His QODESH Name. They do not lie about His great and QODESH Name. They do not call Him God which means idol and demean or belittles Him. They honor His Name and therefore, they would be sealed by His Name. That name is YAHUAH ELOHIYM, and YAHUSHA, His Only Beloved Son, not God or Lord which is modern idolatry. Those who serve God preached God and those who serve YAHUAH and YAHUSHA preach YAHUAH and YAHUSHA. Period!
In striking contrast, we see in Revelation 14:6,7 a messenger of YAHUAH or a servant of YAHUAH preaching the everlasting Besorah (gospel) of the Kingdom of YAHUAH to every nations, kindred, tongues and people, saying with a loud voice, Fear YAHUAH and give glory to Him, because the hour of His judgement is come, and worship Him Who made the heavens and the earth, the sea and the fountains of waters.
How could one fear Him, give him esteem and worship Him without Knowing what is His Name or believe in His Name? So all the ministers of the conventional, contemporary and mainstream churches in this world are of this world, for they do not know Him, Who is not of this world. They do not believe in His Name and some do not even know His Name while the majority of them denied His QODESH Name knowingly, unwittingly, or otherwise–their god is a nameless one, unidentifiable! Therefore, they are not preaching His Besorah. They preach a gospel (God Spell) without the Name of the Author of the Besorah (gospel), how ridiculous? They are preaching confusion and profanities that comes from the author of confusion and profanities, Satan! How then could they be sealed by the Father’s Name, Therefore, there is apparently plenty of lies in their gospel. YAHUAH hates lies. Praise YAH, you are here. If only 144,000 would be amongst the living to be airlifted to meet YAHUSHA in the air at the time of His return, where do you stand? What is your fighting chance to be amongst the 144,000? Out of 6.6 billions men and women, adults and children in planet earth, if only 144,000 living at the time of YAHUSHA’s return would be caught up to meet Him in the air, what is your fighting chance? Scary, is it not? Consider this! In the days of Noah, only eight souls were spared; at Sodom and Gomorrah, only three were saved. What about our world today? I shudder to think about it! THEY ARE VIRGINS. Revelation 14:4-5“These are they who with women were not defiled, for they are virgins… And in their mouth was found no falsehood, faultless they are.”
It is very important to understand that this group of people are servants of the Living ELOHIYM who are sealed by His Great and QODESH Name and that of His Son by their numbers. It is equally important to know that they are virgins. Since we have determine they are the Servants of YAHUAH ELOHIYM who would be sealed by His Majestic and Magnificnet Name, the next thing is to find out what virgin here mean. It is mentioned that they are virigins and they have no falsehood. Virgin here do not refer to the physical aspect of life as it is not customary to ascribe virginity to a man. Virgin here is Spiritual–Spiritual Virgin, just as the 144,000 is a Spiritual people–meaning, they have not been tainted with idolatry, represented by women; for idolatry of any sort–be it the making of and bowing down to idols or preaching or uttering the names of idols–is definitely spiritual adultery, in contrast to spiritual virgin. Spiritual adultery is idolatry which is a lie or falsehood as the verse say, “in their mouth was found no falsehood… idolatry is false worship or worship of false god which is falsehood or lie. Surely this is not about sex but virginity of the heart–heart that is not tainted with idolatry which is spiritual adultery.
We have mentioned that Eliyahu (Elias/Elijah) represents those living servant of YAHUAH at the time of YAHUSHA’s return who shall be caught up with their resurrected counterparts to meet our MASHIACH in the air. When Eliyahu (Elias/Elijah) was hunted by King Ahad, he requested of YAHUAH to take his life–of course it is better to die at the hands of a merciful YAHUAH than a wicked King. YAHUAH responded by showing him that He had 7000 reserved whose knees have not bowed to Baal and whose lips have not kissed him. Now, Baal was then worshipped big time. Notice these 7000 did not only never bowed to Baal with their knees, they also have not kissed him with their lips or call on him, pray to him or praise him.
What could we see in common today? All the contemporary, conventional, mainstream and organized churches today have become idolatrous one way or another. Some have idols to bow down to or worship; others have idols they pray to and praised as God, Lord and Jesus. During this time, the name of YAHUSHA HAMASHIACH is obscure. A time would come when His name would be hated and the servants of the Living ELOHIYM who preach His Name would be hunted like Eliyahu (Elias/Elijah). HalleluYAH! They shall be sealed and they shall not see death, and they are Virgins and in their mouth is not found falsehood. Simply put, they would not only not bowed to idols of any sort; they have not kissed them, that is, pray, praise or call to God, or the Lord… or no idolatrous act or utterances; no falsehood. Just like the 7000 reserved, these 144,000 are completely free from idolatry in any form shape or sizes. They are the bride of the Lamb in the New Jerusalem.
THE NUMBER OF THIS PRIVILEGED GROUP
Who could fit in here? The 144000 is a special number. The very fact that the number is limited to 144,000 tells us something. If you consider the ministers–the so-called servants of God (versus servants of the Living ELOHIYM) and you know who is God–in the international churches (conventional, contemporary, mainstream or traditional churches)–in our time their number is overwhelming and still growing, they are too many to fit. So who are this special group who would received the seal of the Living ELOHIM and are considered Spiritual virgin by the Almighty? The answer is clear. Those who preach the Father’s and Son’s Name–the Son carried the Father’s Name too–YAHUSHA, meaning YAHUAH Saves. How could anyone who preaches God or Jesus be sealed with the QODESH Name of YAHUAH? Impossible! Unless one recognized His name, and acknowledged His Name, believe in His Name, honor His Name, praise His Name and give esteem to His Name, it is impossible he would and or could preach such a Name. Unless one preach His Name, it is impossible he be sealed by His name. Only the 144,000 would be sealed by the Father’s and the Son’s Name because they preach and proclaim YAHUAH made the heavens and the earth and all that in them is and there is none else besides Him, and YAHUSHA HAMASHIACH is His only Beloved Son, the Lamb of YAHUAH, Who takes away the sins of the world; that is what the servant of the Living ELOHIYM do!
Take a look at the worldwide churches, which one did not teach you about Jesus Christ and about God? Everyone of them did. But when you tell them the truth, the true Name of YAHUAH and His Son, YAHUSHA, they denied it. They denied His great and QODESH Name! How could He then seal them with His Mighty Name? How could they be His Servants? They are not teaching His truth, they are lying about His Name. They are preaching idolatry which is spiritual adultery. That cannot be virgin. But this group do not have falsehood and the falsehood is about His great and QODESH Name, YAHUAH ELOHIYM. So how could preacher of lies be sealed? No, It is those who preach the true, great and QODESH Name of YAHUAH ELOHIYM who would be sealed with the Father and Son’s Name, not those who preach Jesus or God–which God, there are so many–but our ELOHIYM is One.
Take a look at the Christian churches. Which denomination has 144,000 servants of the Living Elohiym, not ministers or servants of God (Satan is the God of this world). Their numbers are either too big, if taken in total or too small, if taken by denomination. Taken together, the total clergy population in the Christian world outnumbered this group, viz. 144,000. So they could not possibly be the 144,000. In heaven, there would be no denomination, and no religion; only sons of YAHUAH ELOHIYM, Who is no respecter of person.
Now we already know that the number for fallen man is 6 which looks like a man with his head down. Adam was made a sovereign man and given dominion over the earth, his number was 9, symbolizing a man in his right state of mind–in alignment with YAHUAH. When he disobeyed YAHUAH, he fell and his number became 6, a man with head down–out of alignment with YAHUAH. If you add 144 you get 9 and 9 is a number of Sovereign. The 144,000 are Sovereign man. They are restored to the image of the Father by the Son, ready to be caught up to meet Him in the air when YAHUSHA comes. HalleluYAH! The ministers of the international churches are not Sovereign since many of them do not even know what is being sovereign; they rule over one another, instead and six remains their number.
So, the 144,000 are the servants of YAHUAH ELOHIYM who would be sealed before the end of time by the seal of the living ELOHIYM which is the Father and the Son’s Name, YAHUAH (YaH for Short) and YAHUSHA Ha MASHIACH; they are those who believe in, love, honor and give esteem to the Father and Son’s Name, and they proclaimed and teach the people to love and honor His Name. They are worshipper of YAHUAH ELOHIM who would not give the esteem of YAHUAH to any other Gods or Satan. They minister in the Name of YAHUAH ELOHIM, not God, Lord, Hashem, Adonai, Jehovah or Jesus and many other false names–Baruch Haba Beshem YAHUAH; Baruch Haba Beshem YAHUSHA! Amein!. They are the 144,000 living servants of the Living ELOHIM, who would be sealed by the Father and the Son’s Name just prior to YAHUSHA Ha MASHIYACH’s return to planet earth and they are the ONLY living in YAHUSHA who would be caught up to meet Him in the air with the multitudes who were raised by His last trump! Hallelu YaH! Amen!
THE FIRSTFRUITS UNTO YAHUAH AND THE LAMB, REDEEMED FROM THE EARTH, REVELATION 14:3,4.
What made the 144000 different from the rest of the redeemed? They are the firstfruits to the Father and the Lamb of YAHUAH. What is a Firstfruit. In ancient Israel, the people were taught to offer the first of their labor, land and fruits to YAHUAH. In the family, the firstborn male belongs to YAHUAH and is referred to as first fruit (Gen. 49:3). The firstfruits were supposed to be the best of the crops, a creme de la creme. The 144,000 are firstfruits to YAHUAH and the Lamb redeemed form the earth. They are His servants who are not tainted in the world they live at the time of YAHUSHA’S return.
Two outstanding status made the 144000 stand out as the Firstfruits of YAHUAH and the Lamb. First, they are the living servants of the living ELOHIM who proclaim His great and Qodesh name and in their mouth was not falsehood–God and Lord, etc–and the next is they are the living at the time of the Lamb’s return. Therefore, they would be the living who would be caught up to meet Him in the air when He comes. Two groups of people would be redeemed from the earth at the return of YAHUSHA Ha MASHIYACH. The multitudes who died from time immemorial who would be raised from the dead at the last trump, and the voice of the Son of YaH and those living who endureth unto the end. Those who endureth to the end and living at the reappearance of YAHUSHA Ha MASHIYACH are His living servants who are sealed, no one else could endure without the seal of the living ELOHIM at these times. They are the 144,000. They would all be caught up in the air to meet their Master and King in the sky. There would be only 144,000 living who would be airlifted to meet YAHUSHA at His return to Planet Earth, no more. The rest are those who would be resurrected, who have died from ages past right to the end of time.
And except those days had been shortened, no flesh had been saved; but for the sake of the chosen, those days shall be shortened. Matthew 24:22
Now this is very controversial and most people would not love it. Instead, they would gnash their teeth at me. Sure they would! But let me tell you the truth, warnings after warning have been given, by the Prophets and Apostles; even YAHUSHA Himself warned that very few would be saved and the love of many shall grew cold in the last days. Many calls have been make for fallen man to get ready, for the day of YAHUAH cometh as a thief in the night. But have these warnings been heeded? In the days of Noah only eight souls were spared; in the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah only three out of two lawless cities; in our time 144000 out of 6.6 billions. Is there any surprise? No! Just as the days of Noah, so shall be the day of the Son of man… It is the blessed will of YAHUAH that only the 144000 would be the living on planet earth to welcome His Son in His return. This group is a special group who would be taken from earth to heaven without any foretaste of death; death has not power over them, so to speak.
Take note that we mentioned the sealing of the servants of the Living ELOHIM occurred between the sixth and the seventh seal. At the opening of the fourth seal in Revelation 6:8, it was said that a quarter of the earth’s population died by the sword, famine and wild beasts. At the opening of the fifth seals, the kings of the earth and all the great men and the rulers, the bondmen and the free, hid in the cave and call on the mountain to fall on them… At the opening of the seventh seal more trouble for men on earth, the seventh trumpet each brought more woes to planet earth…
The Name of YAHUAH is a Strong Tower, the Righteous runneth into it and is saved. Proverbs 18:10.
During the time of trouble, many (millions) shall die; by sickness, calamity, famine, pestilences, and plagues; by old age, and even martyrdoms. Simply put, those who are not sealed could not endure to the end. No one could last without the shield of YAH in the time of trouble. YAH have mercy on them to lay them to rest so that they could be raised in the first resurrection when YAHUSHA shall appear. Some would died with the lawless in storms, earthquake, famine and pestilences, some by sickness or old age. So what if YaH chose to have the 144,000 living servants of the Living ELOHIM caught up to meet YAHUSHA in the air when He reappears, who is there to question Him? It only serves to make His Word of great effect as He said so. These are the Elias of their time! Hallelu YaH!
Then was the anger of YAHUAH kindled on that day and He sware, saying: Surely none of the men that came up out of Mitzrayim from twenty years old and upwards, shall see the soil, which I sware unto Avraham, unto Yitshak, and unto Ya’acov, because THEY HAVE NOT FOLLOWED ME FULLY; Save Calev son of Yephunneh, the Kennezite and Yahusha, the son of Nun, for THEY FOLLOWED AFTER YAHUAH FULLY.
So the anger of YAHUAH kindled upon Yisrael and He made them wander in the desert, forty years, until all the generation who had done the evil in the eyes of YAHUAH had wasted away. Numbers 32:10-13.
The 144,000 are the Firstfruit of the redeemed from earth and they are the only living who would be caught up to meet YAHUSHA in the air when He comes. The rest of the redeemed are those who woke from their sleeps from ages past and they constitute the great multitude who are redeemed from the earth. Do not be mistaken! The Following are the facts and distinguished marks about the144,000. They are:
1. Servants of the Living ELOHIM–serving Him in Spirit and in Truth, proclaiming Hismajestic and magnificent Name to all the worlds; ascribing worship and reverence to Him.
2. Sealed by the Father and the Son’s Name–YAHUAH, and YAHUSHA, (YAHUAH Saves).
3. Spiritual Virgins. No lies and idolatry in their mouth.
4. They are the Firstfruits to YAHUAH and the Lamb, Redeemed from the earth before the end of time.
5. They are in Mt. Zion with the Lamb of YAHUAH
6. They sung a New Song–not of God but YAHUAH ELOHIM
Great events strike the earth during the time of the Great tribulation, just prior to the 1,000 years beginning (Yahusha) will return in the clouds for His people; and all the chosen believers are called up into the air to meet (Yahusha) Ha’Mashiach.
The 144,000 of Yisrael (Israel) are Sealed!
After this I saw (4) four Mamalkym (angels) standing at the (4) four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth, that no wind might blow on earth or sea or against any tree. 2 Then I saw another Malahym (angel) ascending from the rising of the sun, with the seal of the living Eloah (God), and he called with a loud voice to the (4) four Malakym (angels) who had been given power to harm earth and sea, 3 saying, “Do not harm the earth or the sea or the trees, until we have sealed the servants of our Elohiym on their foreheads.” 4 And I heard the number of the sealed, 144,000, sealed from every tribe of the sons of Yisrael (Israel): 5 12,000 from the tribe of Yahudah (Judah) were sealed,12,000 from the tribe of Reuben, 12,000 from the tribe of Gad, 6 12,000 from the tribe of Asher, 12,000 from the tribe of Naphtali, 12,000 from the tribe of Manasseh, 7 12,000 from the tribe of Simeon, 12,000 from the tribe of Levi, 12,000 from the tribe of Issachar, 8 12,000 from the tribe of Zebulun, 12,000 from the tribe of Yoseph, 12,000 from the tribe of Benjamin were sealed. 9 After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, 10 and crying out with a loud voice, “Salvation belongs to our Elohiym who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” 11 And all the Malakym (angels) were standing around the throne and around the elders and the (4) four living creatures, and they fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped (Yahuah), 12 saying, “Aman! Barachah (Blessing) and Esteem (glory) and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and might be to our Elohiym forever and ever! Aman.” 13 Then one of the elders addressed me, saying, “Who are these, clothed in white robes, and from where have they come?” 14 I said to him, “Sir, you know.” And he said to me, “These are the ones coming out of the great tribulation. They have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15 “Therefore they are before the throne of (Yahuah), and serve him day and night in his temple; and he who sits on the throne will shelter them with his presence. 16 They shall hunger no more, neither thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any scorching heat. 17 For the Lamb in the midst of the throne will be their shepherd, and he will guide them to springs of living water, and (Yahuah) will wipe away every tear from their eyes.” Revelation 7:1-17
Behold! I speak a secret to you. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed. In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last Shofar (trumpet). For the shofar will sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptable, and we shall be changed.—1 Corinthians 15:51-52
“Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in (Yahuah); trust also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. (John 14:1-3)
In his vision in Revelation 19:7–10, John saw and heard the heavenly multitudes praising (Yahuah) because the wedding feast of the Lamb—literally, the “marriage supper”—was about to begin. The concept of the marriage supper is better understood in light of the wedding customs in the time of (Yahusha).
These wedding customs had (3) three major parts. First, a marriage contract was signed by the parents of the bride and the bridegroom, and the parents of the bridegroom or the bridegroom himself would pay a dowry to the bride or her parents. This began with what was called the betrothal period—what we would today call the engagement. This period was the one Yoseph (Joseph) and Marriam (Mary) were in when she was found to be with child (Matthew
1:18; Luke 2:5).
The (2) second step in the process usually occurred a (1) one year later, when the bridegroom, accompanied by his male friends, went to the house of the bride at midnight, creating a torchlight parade through the streets. The bride would know in advance this was going to take place, and so she would be ready with her maidens, and they would all join the parade and end up at the bridegroom’s home. This custom is the basis of the parable of the ten virgins in Matthew 25:1–13. The (3rd) third phase was the marriage supper itself, which might go on for days, as illustrated by the wedding at Cana in John 2:1–2.
What John’s vision in Revelation pictures is the wedding feast of the Lamb, (Yahusha) HA’Mashiach and His bride (the Chosen believers) in its (3rd) third phase. The implication is that the first (2) two phases have already taken place. The (1st) first phase was completed on earth when each individual believer placed his or her Emunah (faith) in (Yahusha) as Messiah/Savior. The dowry paid to the bridegroom’s parent (Yahuah) the Father) would be the blood of (Yahusha) shed on the Bride’s behalf. The Chosen on earth today, then, is “betrothed” to (Yahusha), and, like the wise virgins in the parable, all believers should be watching and waiting for the appearance of the Bridegroom (the (2nd) Second Coming). The (2nd) second phase symoolizes the calling up of the Chosen believers, when (Yahusha) comes to claim His bride and take her to the Father’s house. The marriage supper then follows as the (3rd) third and final step. It is our view that the marriage supper of the Lamb takes place in Shamyim (heavens) between the calling up of the chosen and the (2) second coming as their King of Kings and Adonai of Adonai’s of the New Jerusalem.
As the Malakym (angel) told John to write, “Baruch (Blessed) are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb” (Revelation 19:9).
The chosen believers living are changed from mortal to immortal as was stated in 1 Corinthians 15:53 For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality. . And then we go up in the air with (Yahusha).
Many today think (Yahusha) will descend to the Earth at this time and set up His kingdom on earth to reign for 1000 years. However, scripture doesn’t say that at all. So, what does happen to those that don’t go with (Yahusha)…?
When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his throne in heavenly glory. All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left. “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are Baruch (blessed) by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. Matthew 25:31
And I saw an Malakym (angel) come down from Shamyim (heavens), having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is HaSatan, the Devil, and bound him a (1,000) thousand years, And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the (1,000) thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season. Revelation 20:1-3.
And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that had been beheaded for the testimony of (Yahuah), and for the word of (Yahuah), and such as a worshipped not the beast, neither his image, and received not the mark upon their forehead and upon their hand; and they lived, and reigned with (Yahusha) a thousand years. The rest of the dead lived not until the (1000) thousand years 5 should be finished. This is the first resurrection. Revelation 20:4-5
Baruch (Blessed) and Kadosh (holy) is the one who shares in the first resurrection! Over such the (2nd) second death has no power, but they will be priests of (Yahuah) and of (Yahusha), and they will reign with him for a (1,000) thousand years.Revelation 20:6
Look! (Yahuah) is stripping and destroying the land, turning it upside down and scattering its inhabitants 2 It will be the same for the people and for the priest; for the slave and for his master; for the female servant and for her mistress; for the buyer and for the seller; for the lender and for the borrower; for the creditor and for the debtor. 3 The land will be completely stripped, completely plundered, for (Yahuah) has spoken this word. Isaiah 24:1-3
I looked at the land it was unformed and void and at the sky it had no light. 24 I looked at the mountains, and they shook all the hills moved back and forth. 25 I looked, and there was no human being; all the birds in the air had fled. 26 I looked, and the fertile fields were a desert, all the land’s cities were razed to the ground at the presence of (Yahuah), before his burning anger. Jeremiah 4:23-26
The earth is shattering, shattering; the earth is shaking, shaking; the earth is teetering, tottering. 20 The earth trembles like a drunk and shudders like a hut; its rebellion weighs heavy upon it; it will fall, no more to rise. Isaiah 24:19-20
And the Malakym (angels) which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. Jude 1:6
At the end of the 1,000 years, the dead wicked/sinners will be raised. HaSatan, loosed from his bonds, and will have an entire earth , all the nations of the world to lead astray.
Yet, at the end of the (1,000) year Millennial Reign, HaSatan is loosed and is able to deceive a vast multitude to follow him in one final rebellion against (Yahuah) and His chosen! Even though the number who rebel with HaSatan are said to be “as the sand of the sea” (Revelation 20:7), it will be a large number who join HaSatan. Undoubtedly, one of the primary reasons (Yahuah) gives us this picture of what will happen in time is to demonstrate the deep-seated sin nature inherent in all of humanity (Jeremiah 17:9).
“When the (1,000) thousand years are over, HaSatan will be released from his prison and will go out to lead the nations astray in the four corners of the earth—Gog and Magog—to gather them for battle. In number they are like the sand on the seashore. They marched across the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of (Yahuah)’s people, the city he loves. But fire came down from Shamyim (heavens) and devoured them. And HaSatan (the devil), who lead them astray, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.” Revelation 20:7-10.
“And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Adonai (Yahusha) shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty Malakym (angels), In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not (Yahuah), and that obey not the message of our Adonai (Yahusha): Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of adon, and from the glory of his power;”2 Thessalonians 1:7-9
And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom (Yahuah) will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of HaSatan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 2 Thessalonains 2:8-10.
And the slain of (Yahuah) shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth: they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the ground. Jeremiah 25:33.
I beheld the earth, and indeed it was without form, and void; And the Shamyim (heavens), they had no light. I beheld the mountains, and indeed they trembled, And all the hills moved back and forth. I beheld, and indeed there was no man, And all the birds of the heavens had fled. I beheld, and indeed the fruitful land was a wilderness, And all its cities were broken down At the presence of hWHY (Yahuah), By His fierce anger. Jeremiah 4:23-26.
The rest of the dead lived not until the (1000) thousand years should be finished. Revelation
20:4-5
Revelation 6:14-17, “And the Shamyim (heavens) departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?”
For behold, I begin to work disaster at the city that is called by my name, and shall you go unpunished? You shall not go unpunished, for I am summoning a sword against all the inhabitants of the earth, declares hWHY (Yahuah) of hosts.’30 “You, therefore, shall prophesy against them all these words, and say to them: “(Yahuah) will roar from on high, and from his holy habitation utter his voice; he will roar mightily against his fold, and shout, like those who tread grapes, against all the inhabitants of the earth. 31 The clamor will resound to the ends of the earth, for the Lord has an indictment against the nations; he is entering into judgment with all flesh, and the wicked he will put to the sword, declares (Yahuah).’ 32 “Thus says (Yahuah) of hosts: Behold, disaster is going forth from nation to nation, and a great tempest is stirring from the farthest parts of the earth! 33 “And those pierced by (Yahuah) on that day shall extend from one end of the earth to the other. They shall not be lamented, or gathered, or buried; they shall be dung on the surface of the ground. 34 “Wail, you shepherds, and cry out, and roll in ashes, you lords of the flock, for the days of your slaughter and dispersion have come, and you shall fall like a choice vessel. 35 No refuge will remain for the shepherds, nor escape for the lords of the flock. 36 A voice—the cry of the shepherds, and the wail of the masters of the flock! For (Yahuah) is laying waste their pasture, 37 and the peaceful folds are devastated because of the fierce anger of (Yahuah). 38 Like a lion he has left his lair, for their land has become a waste because of the sword of the oppressor, and because of his fierce anger.” Jeremiah 25:29-38
“And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he does judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of (Yahuah). And the armies which were in Shamyim (heavens) followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty (Yahuah). And he has on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, King of Kings, and Adonai (lord of Adonai’s (Lords). And I saw an Malakyim (angel) standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great Eloah; That you may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.” Revelation 19:11-18
Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. Revelation 20:11,13-14
Then I saw a new Shamyim (heavens) and a new earth; for the (1st) first heaven and the (1st) first earth passed away, and there is no longer any sea. 2And I saw the Kadosh (holy) city, new Yarusalem (Jerusalem), coming down out of the Shamyim (heavens) from Elohiym, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. I heard a loud shout from the throne, saying, “Look, “The tabernacle of (Yahuah) is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and (Yahuah) himself shall be with them, and be their Elohiym (God). And He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away.” 5 And He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” And He said, “Write, for these words are faithful and true.” 6 Then He said to me, “It is done. I am the Aleph and the Tav, the beginning and the end. I will give to the one who thirsts from the spring of the water of life without cost. 7 “He who overcomes will inherit these things, and I will be his Elohiym (God) and he will be My son. 8 “But for the cowardly and unbelieving and abominable and murderers and immoral persons and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.” Revelation 21:1-8
“the city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it, for the esteem (glory) of (Yahuah) illuminated it. The Lamb is its lamp” (Revelation 21:23)
For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; and the former shall not be remembered or come to mind. But be glad and rejoice forever in what I create; for behold, I create a Jerusalem as a rejoicing, and her people a joy. (Isaiah 65:17-19)
Looking for and hastening the coming of the day of (Yahuah), because of which the Shamyim (heavens) will be dissolved being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat . . . Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for a new heaven and a new earth in which righteousness dwells. (2 Peter 3:12-13)
(Yahuah) will create new Shamyim (heavens) and a new earth, and the new Jerusalem will be the capital city of the new earth. Sin and its ugliness will be gone forever. (Yahuah)’s people will at long last receive the kingdom promised to them. “They shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.” Isaiah 35:10.
The first thing we need to consider is that the earth will be in such havoc that (Yahuah) must recreate it at (or shortly after) the calling up of his chosen, because it will be uninhabitable; all the oceans will have been turned to blood and be full of rotting dead corpses of all the sea creatures – certainly not a nice place to live!
Then the second Malakym (angel) poured out his bowl on the sea, and it became blood as of a dead [man;] and every living creature in the sea died. (Revelation 16:3) Then the (3rd) third Malakym (angel) poured out his bowl on the rivers and springs of water, and they became blood. (Revelation 16:4)
This will be followed by every island and every mountain moving out of their places. Then every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.(Revelation 16:20) In a parallel passage, Isaiah says the earth will fall and not rise again:
The earth is violently broken, The earth is split open, The earth is shaken exceedingly.(Isaiah 24:19) The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, And shall totter like a hut; Its transgression shall be heavy upon it, And it will fall, and not rise again. (Isaiah 24:20)
Finally, the Shamyim (heavens) are going to roll up like a scroll.
All the host of the Shamyim (heavens) shall be dissolved, And the Shamyim (heavens) shall be rolled up like a scroll; All their host shall fall down As the leaf falls from the vine, And as fruit falling from a fig tree. (Isaiah 34:4)
The Shamyim (heavens) are the same as the veil that the prophet Isaiah talked about Oh, that You would rend [tear, break] the Shamyim (heavens)! That You would come down! That the mountains might shake at Your presence. (Isaiah 64:1)
John, in the book of Revelation, was permitted to see the fulfillment of Isaiah’s request when he noted:
Then I saw eh Shamyim (heavens) opened, and behold, a white horse! The one sitting on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and makes war. (Revelation 19:11)
Peter told us that the day that (Yahusha) returns is when the Shamyim (heavens) will pass away.
But the day of (Yahuah) will come as a thief in the night, in which the Shamyim (heavens) will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. (2 Peter 3:10)
Whereas Peter stated that the elements would melt with fervent heat, the Psalmist described it as:
The mountains melt like wax at the presence of (Yahuah), At the presence of (Yahuah) of the whole earth. (Psalms 97:5)
If we should ask why will the earth begin to melt, the answer is that his return is when the earth is finally exposed to his great fiery-lightning presence.
For behold, (Yahuah) will come with fire And with His chariots, like a whirlwind, To render His anger with fury, And His rebuke with flames of fire. (Isaiah 66:15) For by fire and by His sword (Yahuah) will judge all flesh; And the slain of (Yahuah) shall be many. (Isaiah 66:16)
The parallel passage in 2 Thessalonians reiterates the truth of that moment:
…when (Yahusha) is revealed from the Shamyim (heavens) with His mighty angels, (2 Thessalonians 1:7) in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know (Yahuah), and on those who do not obey the message of our Adon (Yahusha) HaMAshiach. (2 Thessalonians 1:8)
Therefore, we see that the Shamyim (heavens) pass away and the earth is utterly devastated at the (2nd) second coming and thus a new heavens and new earth are absolutely necessary. In Isaiah 65:17 (Yahuah) declares that He will make new Shamyim (heavens) and a new earth which from reading the passage is occurring at the beginning of the millennium/messianic age.
“For behold, I create new Shamyim (heavens) and a new earth; And the former shall not be remembered or come to mind. (Isaiah 65:17) They shall build houses and inhabit [them;] They shall plant vineyards and eat their fruit. (Isaiah 65:21) They shall not labor in vain, Nor bring forth children for trouble; For they [shall be] the descendants of the blessed of (Yahuah), And their offspring with them. (Isaiah 65:23) The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, The lion shall eat straw like the ox, And dust [shall be] the serpent’s food. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My Kadosh (holy) mountain,” Says (Yahuah). (Isaiah 65:25)
The new Jerusalem will settle where the mount of Olives now stands. The mountain will be flattened to make a great plain, upon which the city will come to rest. All of the righteous chosen people from all the ages, the Malakym (angels) of Shamyim (heaven), plus (Yahuah)’s the Father and the Son (Yahusha) will return to earth with the Kadosh (holy) city for (Yahusha)’s 2nd coming.
Hebrews 12:22 refers to it as “heavenly Jerusalem” and Revelation 3:12 identifies it as “New Jerusalem.” The Tanakh (Old Testament) patriarch Abraham anticipated dwelling in this city. As Hebrews 11:10 notes, Abraham “waited for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is (Yahuah).”
“See, the day shall come for (Yahuah).” And (Yahuah) my Elohiym shall go go forth, and he shall fight against those gentiles, as he fights in the day of battle.”And in that day his feet shall stand upon the mount of Olives, which is before Yerushalayim (Jerusalem) on the east, and the mount of Olives shall spilt into (2) two. … And (Yahuah) my Elohiym shall go come with all the Qodeshim (Kadosh Chosen Believers) with you.” Zechariah 14:1, 3, 4, 5.
Now Hanok (Enoch), the (7th) seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men also, saying, “Behold, (Yahusha) comes with ten thousands of His Qodeshim (Kadosh Chosen Believers), Jude 1:14
“Let the wicked perish at the presence of (Yahuah).” Psalms 68:2.
“Fire came down from (Yahuah) out of Shamyim (heavens), and devoured them. And HaSatan that deceived them was cast into the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” Revelation 20:9, 10; 21:8. “The wicked … shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith (Yahuah) of hosts.” Malachi 4:3.
Fire will suddenly come down from Shamyim (heavens), upon the wicked and all will be turned into ashes, including HaSatan and his Malakym (angels) (Matthew 25:41). This fire that destroys sin and sinners is called the (2nd) second death. There is no resurrection from this death. It is final. Notice that HaSatan will be in it, and it will put him out of existence, terminate him along with all those that followed him and took his Mark (seal).
Revelation 21:1-4 and Isaiah 65:17, declares (Yahuah) will wipe away all tears from the eyes of His people and there will be no more death, sorrow, or pain will happen after HaSatan, sin and sinners are destroyed (Terminated/Extinguished).
“I will surely tell of the decree of (Yahuah): He said to Me, ‘You are My Son, Today I have begotten You. Ask of Me, and I will surely give the nations as Your inheritance, And the very ends of the earth as Your possession. 9 ‘You shall break them with a rod of iron, You shall shatter them like earthenware.’” 10 Now therefore, O kings, show discernment; Take warning, O judges of the earth. 11 Worship (Yahuah) with reverence And rejoice with trembling. 12 Do homage to the Son, that He not become angry, and you perish in the way, For His wrath may soon be kindled. How Baruch (blessed) are all who take refuge in Him!(Psalm 2:7-12;
(Yahuah) is trying to reinforce some very important lessons concerning HaSatan, especially for believers. First, that he has been and always will be the enemy of humanity. As (Yahuah) has fixed His love on us, HaSatan has for us a special hatred. Ever since HaSatan’s fall (Isaiah 14, Ezekiel 28), he has been the adversary of believers, and he is aptly described as the ultimate deceiver of mankind (John 8:44; 1 John 2:22). All he can give or promise man is death and destruction (John 10:10). HaSatan is also shown here to be a truly defeated foe, and his ultimate doom is certain, along with the doom of all who follow him. (Yahuah) is trying to remind us that HaSatan is a created being who is powerless before Him (2 Corinthians 12:7). All this should encourage believers today to take (Yahuah) at His Word concerning our position in (Yahusha) with respect to HaSatan (Matthew 4:1-11; Luke 4:1-13; 1 Corinthians 10:13; 2 Corinthians 4:1-7; James 4:6-8; 1 John 2:15- 29; 1 John 4:1-3), especially as we remember this grand truth: “…greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world” (1 John 4:4).
(Yahuah) is working out a great plan for humanity. Part of that plan is allowing mankind 6,000 years to solve its problems—its own way.
Simply looking around will show that mankind has no such solutions. In fact, it will bring itself to the point of complete destruction. Only (Yahuah)’s intervention will prevent this from happening (Matthew. 24:22).
(Yahuah) will bind HaSatan away, leaving him unable to deceive the nations (Revelation. 12:9). Then, in place of man’s government, (Yahusha) will rule all nations for 1,000 years. This period of utopia is commonly referred to as the “millennium.” All people in all nations will be taught the ways of (Yahuah).
This is but a part of (Yahuah)’s great purpose. After 1,000 years of living in peace and happiness, some will forget how miserable HaSatan’s influence made society. (Yahuah) will release HaSatan for “a little season” (Revelation 20:3) to give mankind a demonstration that only (Yahuah)’s way brings true happiness.
HaSatan will lead the nations of Gog and Magog.
These nations are a type of all rebellious people who refuse to yield themselves to the Law and Government of (Yahuah) (Revelation 20:8).
Those who follow HaSatan and reject (Yahuah) will not be able to continue on to the next step of (Yahuah)’s Plan. However, at the same time, those truly following (Yahuah) will be shown that only (Yahuah)’s way can lead them to true happiness for eternity.
(Yahuah) is trying to tell us something about His nature as displayed during the Millennium. His unmerited favor, mercy and goodness will be on display continually. But at the end of the 1000 years, He will have zero tolerance for rebellion. When it happens, He will show no mercy and offer no “(2ND) second chances.” At that time He will be quick to judge, and the final rebellion of HaSatan and sinful man will be over in a flash of fire. After this, the final judgment takes place (the Great White Throne Judgment, Revelation 20:11-15. Eternity can thus begin with every aspect of sin gone for all time.
Too fabulous to describe! Too glorious to miss! (Yahusha) has a place prepared there for you (John 14:1-3).
We are now approaching that time, and these things are now being revealed. “Many shall be purified, cleansed, and refined (Yahuah) is examining you and me, testing us to see who is willing to obey His word], but the wicked shall continue to act wickedly. None of the wicked shall understand, but those who are wise shall understand” Daniel 12:10
Therefore (Yahuah) also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of (Yahusha) every knee should bow, of those in Shamyim (heavens), and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that (Yahusha) HaMashiach is Adonai (Lord Master), to the esteem (glory) of (Yahuah) the Father. Philippians 2:9-11
The basic chronology therefore is as follows:
1. The great tribulation
2. The second coming at The Last Shofar (Trumpet)
3. The judgment of the nations (separation of the sheep and the goats) (Matthew 25:31-41, Joel 3:2)
4. The millennium, (Yahusha) ruling with a rod of iron (Isaiah 11, Revelation 20:1-10)
5. The new heavens and and the new earth (possibly before the judgment of Joel 3:2)
What is the meaning of striving to enter in the narrow gate? Let’s turn to where YAHUSHA gave the command…
Luke 13:24 – “Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.”
“To strive” means to give great effort. “To seek” means to make an attempt with much less effort.
At another instance, YAHUSHA gave a different command …
Matthew 11:28 – “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 – Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30 – For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
Do the two previous commandments contradict one another? Let’s take a look and see… The burden and yoke that is hard is sin (John 8: 34). YAHUSHA said that if we follow him, then we would be free from sin indeed (John 8:36). However, according to the meaning of the word “strive”, it apparently takes great effort to be a true follower of YAHUSHA.
Next question: What does it mean, “To enter in the narrow gate”?
John 8:31 – Then said YAHUSHA to those Jews which believed on him, “If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;32 – And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
As this study progresses, the importance of keeping YAHUSHA’s words will come into focus…
John 14:23 – YAHUSHA answered and said unto him, “If a man love me, he will keep my words.”
YAHUSHA’s ministry was very popular at the time of the fourteenth chapter of Luke. At that point, if YAHUSHA wanted his ministry to continue to grow, he could have “smooth talked the people”. But “being popular” apparently was not his goal!
Luke 14:25 And there went great multitudes with him: and he turned, and said unto them,26 – “If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. 27 – And whosoever doth not bear his stake, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.”
What did YAHUSHA mean when he said that in order to be his disciple, that we must hate our father and mother and wife and children, and even our own life?Since YAHUSHA was without sin, it wouldn’t seem that he was telling us to break the 5th commandment, which commands us to honor our father and mother. So then, what exactly is it that he was saying? To understand this, we must go to another place where YAHUSHA was speaking about the very same thing…
Matthew 10:37 – He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
It becomes clear that the meaning of the word “hate” means to “love less”… YAHUSHA was saying that in order to be his follower, it is necessary to love all non-believers less than they love YAHUSHA; and we are to love our spiritual brothers and sisters more than we love non-believing kin. For example….
Luke 9:61 – And another also said, “Rabbi, I will follow thee; but let me first go bid them farewell, which are at home at my house.” 62 – And YAHUSHA said unto him, “No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of YAHUAH.”
YAHUSHA was saying that the person who looks back is not worthy of the Kingdom.For another example…
Matthew 8:19 – And a certain scribe came, and said unto him, “Rabbi, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest.” 20 – And YAHUSHA saith unto him, “Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath nowhere to lay his head.”
YAHUSHA seems to have been aware that the scribe was not willing to do what is required of him to be a true follower.
Continuing on:
Matthew 8:21 – And another of his disciples said unto him, “Rabbi, suffer me first to go and bury my father.” 22 – But YAHUSHA said unto him, “Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead.”
On the surface, this seems like a strange response. Had this man’s father just died, and thus needed to be buried? Or, was the man talking about waiting for his father to die, and then afterwards, he would follow YAHUSHA? We can only speculate.
But, concerning all the preceding examples of people who said that they were desiring to be a disciple, what are the practical applications? What is it that we need to see? How can one successfully carry out the commandment to “forsake all” and follow YAHUSHA? Let’s take a look at when YAHUSHA called his first disciples, to see if we might be able to find the answer…
Mark 1:17 – And YAHUSHA said unto them, “Come ye after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men.”18 – And straightway they forsook their nets, and followed him.
This was the call of Kepha(Peter)and Andrew
Mark 1:19 – And when he had gone a little further thence, he saw James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, who also were in the ship mending their nets.20 – And straightway he called them: and they left their father Zebedee in the ship with the hired servants, and went after him.
We can see that when these men were called, that they immediately followed. When YAUSHA called Matthew (Levi)…
Mark 2:14 – And as he passed by, he saw Levi the son of Alphaeus sitting at the receipt of custom, and said unto him, “Follow me.” And he arose and followed him.
Notice how none of them said anything like, “I will follow you, but let me first (go and take care of anything of this world).”In the tenth chapter of Matthew, YAHUSHA is talking about the effect that he will have the order of things in the world…
Matthew 10:34 – “Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. 35 – For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.36 – And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.”
Just what did YAHUSHA mean by this, and what are those who want to be his followers to do, when this comes to pass?For it surely will come to pass in the life of all who accept the truth! For another witness, YAHUSHA said:
Luke 12:49 – “I am come to send fire on the earth; and how I wish it were already kindled. 50 – But I have a immersion to be immersed with; and how am I distressed till it be accomplished! 51 – Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division: 52 – For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three. 53 – The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.”
And in the next verse YAHUSHA said…
Luke 12:54 – And he said also to the people, “When ye see a cloud rise out of the west, immediately you say, ‘There cometh a shower’; and so it is. 55 – And when ye see the south wind blow, ye say, ‘There will be heat’; and it cometh to pass. 56 – Ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky and of the earth; but how is it that ye do not discern this time?”
YAHUSHA’s ministry would be as a fire that devours!And indeed it is, even to this day! YAHUSHA said that if we keep his word, then we are his disciples indeed (John 8:31). Let’s look at some other things that YAHUSHA said that we must be willing to do to be His followers…
Mark 10:17 And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, “Good Rabbi, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?”
18 And YAHUSHA said unto him, “Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, YAHUAH.
19 Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother.”
20 And he answered and said unto him, “Rabbi, all these have I observed from my youth.”
21 Then YAHUSHA beholding him loved him, and said unto him, “One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the stake, and follow me.”
22 And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for he had great possessions.
23 And YAHUSHA looked round about, and saith unto his disciples, “How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of YAHUAH!”
24 And the disciples were astonished at his words. But YAHUSHA answereth again, and saith unto them, “Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of YAHUAH!
25 It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of YAHUAH.”
It seems apparent that entering the narrow gate is giving up any and all things that are near and dear to ones heart, if it is coming between them and YAHUAH.It appears that a pattern is forming here. Anyone who wants to follow YAHUSHA the Messiah, must be willing to give up anything that separates them from YAHUSHA! YAHUSHA said:
Matthew 5:29 – “And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into Gehenna.30 – And if thy right hand offend thee, cut if off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into Gehenna.”
What YAHUSHA seems to be saying is that we must be willing to give up anything and everything that will keep us from life!
Paul said…
Philippians 3:7 – But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for the Messiah.8 – Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of the Messiah YAHUSHA my Master: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win the Messiah, 9 – And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of the Messiah, the righteousness which is of YAHUAH by faith: 10 – That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; 11 – If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.
YAHUSHA warns that anyone who wants to follow him must first “count the cost”…
Luke 14:28 – “For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?29 – Lest, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish, all that see it begin to mock him, 30 – Saying, ‘This man began to build, and was not able to finish.'”
But, what about a person who finds themselves in a situation with unbelieving kin, and they decide that it is just “too hard” to give up the “family”, can’t they make an agreement with their unbelieving relatives, so that they can be a disciple of YAHUSHA, and still stay in a compromising situation?
YAHUSHA continues to expound on the cost of being his disciple…
Luke 14:31 – “Or what king, going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand?32 – Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an ambassage, and desireth conditions of peace. 33 – So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple. 34 – Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be seasoned? 35 – It is neither fit for the land, nor yet for the dunghill; but men cast it out. He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.”
Paul backs up YAHUSHA…
2Corinthians 6:14 – Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness?15 – Or what harmony has the Messiah with Belial, or what has a believer in common with an unbeliever? 16 – Or what agreement has the temple of YAHUAH with idols? For we are the temple of the living ELOHIYM; just as YAHUAH said, “I will dwell in them and walk among them; and I will be their ELOHIYM, and they shall be My people. 17 – Therefore, come out from their midst and be separate,” says YAHUAH. “And do not touch what is unclean; and I will welcome you. 18 – And I will be a father to you, and you shall be sons and daughters to me,” says YAHUAH Almighty.
2Corinthians 7:1 – Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting being set apart in the fear of YAHUAH.
The time that a person should realize that they have a problem, in regards to their family and the truth, is when and if they see the following. Let’s look at it again, where YAHUSHA said…
Matthew 10:34 – “Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.35 – For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. 36 – And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household. 37 – He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. 38 – And he that taketh not his stake, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. 39 – He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.”
This would seem to include compromising with people who refuse to come out of Christianity or those who follow pagan religious celebrations!
Concerning the command, to enter the narrow gate, it is presented in Matthew from a different angle.
Matthew 7:13 – “Enter ye in at the narrow gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in by it:14 – Because narrow is the gate, and difficult is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.”
The following shows that the sword was present between and his brothers in the flesh…
John 7:2 – Now the Jews’ feast of tabernacles was at hand.3 – His brethren therefore said unto him, “Depart hence, and go into Judaea, that thy disciples also may see the works that thou doest. 4 – For there is no man that doeth any thing in secret, and he himself seeketh to be known openly. If thou do these things, show thyself to the world.” 5 – For neither did his brethren believe in him.
Continuing on in verse 6…
6 – Then YAHUSHA said unto them, “My time is not yet come: but your time is always ready. 7 – The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil.”
Although YAHUSHA’s brothers, James and Judah (Ya’acob and Yahudah) did finally become believers, there was division in the beginning.If we are YAUSHA’s followers indeed, then the world will hate us…
John 15:16 – “You have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that you should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever you shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.17 – These things I command you, that you love one another. 18 – If the world hates you, you know that it hated me before it hated you. 19 – If you were of the world, the world would love his own: but because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.
YAHUSHA’s brother, in the book of James, gives another witness…
James 4:4 – Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with YAHUAH? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of YAHUAH.
Besides those who seek to enter in, and are not able, there are also “deceivers”.The seekers are those who want to follow YAHUSHA, but are not willing to “pay the price”; and then there are the deceivers…
Matthew 7:15 – Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.16 – Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17 – Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18 – A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19 – Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20 – Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
Have you ever found yourself, at times, bringing forth good fruit, and at other times bringing forth evil fruit? I know I have and that is not good! Being in such a state would make one guilty of being “double minded”!
James 1:8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
In Jeremiah, false prophets and the false shepherds are spoken of…
Jeremiah 10:21 – For the pastors are become brutish, and have not sought YAHUAH: therefore they shall not prosper, and all their flocks shall be scattered.
Jeremiah 23:16 – Thus saith YAHUAH of hosts, “Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you: they make you vain: they speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of YAHUAH.”
17 – They say still unto them that despise me, ‘YAHUAH hath said, Ye shall have peace; and they say unto every one that walks after the imagination of his own heart, No evil shall come upon you.'”
This is one of the biggest problems in churchianity, people trusting the arm of man, rather than the word of YAHUAH! Some of the things that you are likely hear from these false guides are, “The law is done away with, we no longer are required to keep it, anyone who keeps the law is under a curse” This seems to be a common theme heard from those who cling to the false name.
YAHUSHA shows the difference between those who are blessed with those who are not…
Matthew 5:11 – Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. 12 – Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
Luke 6:26 – Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets.
Let’s look at an example that YAHUSHA gives comparing himself to false shepherds…
John 10:1 – “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. 2 – But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. 3 – To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. 4 – And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. 5 – And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.” 6 – This parable spake YAHUSHA unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them.
YAHUSHA starts with a parable, saying that the sheep hear the shepherds voice, and a stranger the sheep will not follow. He also says that the porter (one sharing the truth) opens the door to the shepherd (gives the sheep access to the shepherd). He then explains the parable…
John 10:7 – Then said YAHUSHA unto them again, “Truly, truly I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. 8 – All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. 9 – I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.”
YAHUSHA is not only the shepherd, but he is also the door and the straight gate! Continuing on, The thief comes to steal and kill, YAHUSHA comes to give his life for the sheep…
John 10:10 – “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. 11 – I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd gives his life for the sheep. 12 – But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, sees the wolf coming, and leaves the sheep, and flees: and the wolf catches them, and scatters the sheep. 13 – The hireling flees, because he is an hireling, and cares not for the sheep. 14 – I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.”
An example of the influence that false shepherds have can be found in Genesis 3…
Genesis 3:1 – Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which YAHUAH ELOHIYM had made. And he said unto the woman, “Yea, hath ELOHIYM said, ‘Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?'”
The word subtle is strongs #6175 – ahroom: cunning…skill employed in a crafty manner, as in deceiving, craftiness, guile
2Corinthians 11:14 – And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. 15 – Therefore it is not surprising if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their deeds.

Matthew 24:3 – And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, “Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?” 4 – And YAHUSHA answered and said unto them, “Take heed that no man deceive you. 5 – For many shall come in my name, saying, I am the Messiah; and shall deceive many.”
Where YAHUSHA says, “For many shall come in my name, saying, I am the Messiah; and shall deceive many,” has been interpreted in different ways. Some believe that YAHUSHA is saying that many will come saying that “they” are the messiah. There are others who believe that the word “in” should actually be translated “against”, as many will come against the name of YAHUSHA. Still others believe that it means that many will come saying that YAHUSHA is in fact the Messiah, and deceive many. The fact of the matter is, all of these things have taken place!
So, not only are there deceivers using false names (thus they are against the name YAHUSHA), but there are also those who use the true and correct name, but are still deceivers!
Jeremiah 2:5 Thus saith YAHUAH, “What iniquity have your fathers found in me, that they are gone far from me, and have walked after vanity, and are become vain? 6 Neither said they, ‘Where is YAHUAH that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, that led us through the wilderness, through a land of deserts and of pits, through a land of drought, and of the shadow of death, through a land that no man passed through, and where no man dwelt?’ 7 And I brought you into a plentiful country, to eat the fruit thereof and the goodness thereof; but when you entered, you defiled my land, and made mine heritage an abomination. 8 The priests said not, ‘Where is YAHUAH?’ and they that handle the law knew me not: the pastors also transgressed against me, and the prophets prophesied by Baal, and walked after things that do not profit.”
We can begin to see why the road to destruction is wide, and many enter in there at. So, YAHUSHA is the good shepherd, and his sheep hear his voice…
Revelation 3:20 – “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.”
And to that we can say, “HalleluYAH!!!!!”
Let’s now look at a promise in His Word concerning those who do enter in the narrow gate…
Hebrews 6:10 For YAHUAH is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shown toward his name, in that you have ministered to the set apart ones, and do minister. 11 And we desire that every one of you do show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end: 12 That you be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
We should also remember what Shaul said concerning the battles that we enter…
Ephesians 6:11 – Put on the whole armor of ELOHIYM, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 – For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
The point is, that we do have to fight, but not in a worldly way, but a spiritual battle. We must keep in mind, that there are more people who do not love the truth than those who do, this includes religious people!
2Timothy 4:3 – For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 – And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
Having itching ears means not wanting to hear truth, but wanting to hear things that will satisfy their flesh! Many admire the words of YAHUSHA, but they fail to live them. We must pray that we can be accounted worthy to follow YAHUSHA indeed!!!!
2Thessalonians 1:11 – Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our ELOHIYM would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power: 12 – That the name of our Master YAHUSHA the Messiah may be honored in you, and you in him, according to the favor of our ELOHIYM and the Master YAHUSHA the Messiah.
We need to pray for one another!
Mark 8:34 And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, “Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his yoke, and follow me. 35 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the glad tidings, the same shall save it. 36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? 37 Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? 38 Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he comes in the splendor of his Father with the set-apart messengers.”
To be ashamed of YAHUSHA and his words, that means his real words! For another example of having to give up the things of this life, only this time the reward that comes with overcoming…
John 12:24 – “Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a grain of wheat fall into the ground and dies, it abides alone: but if it dies, it brings forth much fruit. 25 – He that loves his life shall lose it; and he that hates his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal. 26 – If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.”
That is not to say that we will not have trials and tribulations, because the true followers of YAHUSHA will surely be tried!!
James 1:2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; 3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith works patience. 4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. 5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of YAHUAH, that gives to all men liberally, and upbraids not; and it shall be given him. 6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavers is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. 7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of YAHUAH. 8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
Some might think that this study will drive people away, but let’s look at what YAHUSHA did…
John 6:60 – Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, “This is a hard saying; who can hear it?”
And then in verse 66…
John 6:66 – From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.
But the thing that should encourage us….
John 6:67 – Then said YAHUSHA unto the twelve, “Will ye also go away?” 68 – Then Simon Kepha answered him, “Rabbi, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life. 69 – And we believe and are sure that thou art the Messiah, the Son of the living ELOHIYM.”
YAHUSHA said in John 16:33…
John 16:33 – “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”
And finally…
Mark 4:24 Then He said to them, “Take heed what you hear. With the same measure you use, it will be measured to you; and to you who hear, more will be given. 25 For whoever has, to him more will be given; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.”

The Ten Percent Factor
Scientists from the prestigious Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute have determined that if just 10% of any given population holds to an unshakable idea, that the idea will become adopted by the majority of the country. However, the scientists who belong to the Social Cognitive Networks Academic Research Center (SCNARC) found that if the ideas are shared by less than 10% of the population, the idea will not progress and will eventually die out. The research was first published in a peer reviewed E Journal in an article entitled “Social consensus through the influence of committed minorities.”
Computational and analytical methods were used to discover the tipping point where an obscure idea eventually becomes the majority opinion. The finding has dramatic implications for those of us trying to wake up the sheep in this country.
The SNARC scientists found that the 10% figure was applicable whether they were talking about the spread of innovations or to advance an ideal.
Reaching 10% of the population should be the objective of the alternative media and the primary goal should be the preservation of the soul and not to be quite as focused on achieving physical victory in this realm of existence.
As previously stated, in order to wake up 10% of the population, the country would have to turn off the biggest propaganda device in the country, the television. Nature abhors a vacuum and if people were not watching television, they would begin to think for themselves, instead of being told what to think. If the 10% factor were to ever be reached, it would constitute groupthink in reverse.
There is no question that untold numbers of people are beginning to question the motives and actions of the government. And increasingly, these awakening sheep, are looking to us in the independent media for answers. The 64 million dollar question has to do with whether America will reach the 10% threshold in time to make any real difference?

In The Scriptures there is no Black or White Assembly or Congregation.
YAHUSHA did not come to save Skin but to Save Souls.
In reality, followers of YAHUSHA who are labeled as Judaizers, rarely follow Rabbinical Judaism; all they are guilty of is having what the Renewed Covenant describes as “Torah” written upon their hearts. YAHUSHA stated to the Pharisees, “Why also do you transgress against the Commandments of YAHUAH because of your traditions?” (Matthew 15:3) Regardless whether it is Pharisaical or Christian tradition, transgression against the Commandments of YAHUAH is certainly not at all acceptable to YAHUSHA The Messiah.
Who Are The Natsariym?
We are the Watchmen, The Natsariym, as spoken of by the Prophets (Old Testament) and in the Brit Hadasaha (New Testament). The first followers of YAHUSHA were known of as a sect called the Natsariym (Nazarene). They were not accepted by the teachers of Judaism nor the early Christian church.
1 Peter 4:16: But if one suffers being Natsariym, let him not be ashamed, but let him esteem YAHUAH ELOHIYM in this matter.
If anything I guess it would be something like The Natsariym were known to follow The Way and were easily identified due to their use of the Name. The name of our ELOHIYM was outlawed and not to be used by those practicing Judaism. The Natsariym used His name regularly as did YAHUSHA. They also did not teach the traditions of Judaism, referred to as the traditions of men. For these reasons the religious leaders of the Jews had YAHUSHA put to death on the Tree. Little did they know this was all to fulfill prophecy.
The Natsariym follow the Torah of YAHUAH and accept the salvation granted by the sacrifice of YAHUSHA. The Torah of YAHUAH did not pass way with the death of YAHUSHA. The Torah is eternal and was followed perfectly by YAHUSHA; making the him the perfect sinless sacrifice for us. Now the Natsariym are coming forward again to guard The Way of YAHUAH and His son YAHUSHA HA’MASHIACH.
Revelation 12:17: And the dragon was enraged with the woman and he went to fight with the remnant of her seed, those guarding the commands of Elohim and possessing the witness of YAHUSHA HA’MASHIACH (The Natsariym).
