Friday the 13th, 1307, the Knights Templar are arrested and executed

The Order of the Knights Templar traced their lineage back to the First Crusade. The history and fascination about who they were and their military prowess, wealth, and ultimate demise have been a never-ending source legend in both books and film.
After the initial Crusade to take the city of Jerusalem back from the Muslims in 1099, this caused many religious pilgrims from Europe to visit the Holy Land and the religious sites set down in the Bible. But to get thru to Jerusalem, these Europeans had to cross thru Muslim-held lands and many of them were robbed and murdered.
A French knight, Hugues de Payens created an order that consisted of himself and eight other knights which became known as the Pauperes commilitones Christi Templique Solomonici – the Poor Fellow-Soldiers of Christ and of the Temple of Solomon. This eventually became shortened to the Knights Templar. These knights were related to Payens either by blood or marriage and their mission was to protect the pilgrims traveling to the Holy Land.
They approached King Baldwin II in Jerusalem and he allowed them to set up their headquarters in Temple Mount. The Dome of the Rock became a Christian Church and the al Aqsa Mosque located atop of what was believed to be Solomon’s Temple, is where the Templars were located.
Order Gains Power, Prestige: Early in their existence, the Templars were criticized, especially about the practice of their carrying of swords which was taboo at the time for religious men. But thanks to the influential Bernard of Clairvaux who wrote an essay on the Order, the men of the Templar became the first warrior monks of the western world. He wrote: “[A Templar Knight] is truly a fearless knight, and secure on every side, for his soul is protected by the armor of faith, just as his body is protected by the armor of steel. He is thus doubly-armed, and need fear neither demons nor men.”
The order received a formal endorsement by the Catholic Church in 1129 and in 1139, their status was bolstered even further when Pope Innocent II issued a Papal Bull that allowed the Knights Templar special rights. Among them, the Templars were exempt from paying taxes, permitted to build their own oratories, and answered to no one save the Pope himself.
Members swore an oath of poverty, chastity, and obedience. Templars didn’t drink, gamble or swear. They were devout Christians who spent much of their time in prayer. They adopted a simple white tunic that was adorned by a red cross which became their signature hallmark.
Their influence quickly grew as they set up banks, built fleets of ships, and controlled the island of Cypress. Their banking system was ingenious as pilgrims could deposit funds in their home countries and withdraw funds in the Holy Land.
They built castles across the Holy Land and quickly gained the reputation of fierce fighters, defeating many Muslim armies during the next several decades.
Gradually the Templars and the Christians lost their footholds in the Holy Land. Saladin the Muslim leader from Tikrit inside modern-day Iraq, had battled with the Templars and lost in 1177. He fought them again in 1187, and this time defeated them at the disaster at the Battle of the Horns of Hattin. The Templars under the command of Grand Master Gerard de Ridefort had marched out away from water to meet the army of Saladin. Overcome by heat after just a day, they were slaughtered. This was loosely portrayed in the 2005 film, “Kingdom of Heaven.” Jerusalem fell a few months later.
Decline and Fall: After the fall of Acre in 1291, the Templars lost their last stronghold in the Holy Land. This would ultimately lead to their demise. In 1303, the Templars had set up their headquarters in Paris. They were an order who had lost its purpose but still controlled enormous wealth. This unstable environment set up a power-play by King Philip IV.
Philip’s kingdom was deeply in debt to the Templars and he feared their power. After the Templar banks denied Philip another loan he moved against them. On the morning of Friday, October 13, 1307, Philip had scores of the Templars arrested in France including the order’s Grand Master Jacques de Molay. Many were sent to the Tower of Chinon where they were brutally tortured until they confessed to false charges, which included heresy, homosexuality, financial corruption, devil-worshipping, fraud, spitting on the cross, and more.
Despite the absence of any evidence other than what was coerced by torture by Philip, the Pope, Clement V issued an edict dissolving the order under enormous pressure by Philip. Jacques de Molay was executed in 1314.
Philip never believed any of the charges were true, he moved against them mainly out of jealousy and greed. He was deeply indebted to the Templars and although their money was supposed to have been given to a rival order, the Knights Hospitallers, it is believed that Philip and King Edward II of England made off with most of the money.
Legend Persist: One of the enduring legends of the Templars is that a secret order of them exists today. It has become quite popular in books and films such as “National Treasure” or “The Da Vinci Code.” Some organizations have sprung up around the world to continue their heritage.
The Freemasons, which were founded in the 18th century revived many of the Templars’ traditions, symbols, and rituals. And many of the Freemasons were the ones who originally concocted that story, no doubt to boost their own lineage.
One of the enduring myths of the Templars arrest in France is that since it occurred on Friday, the 13th that is why some people fear the date. And of course, protecting the Holy Grail and securing the bloodline of Jesus Christ (Da Vinci Code) while making for exciting storylines, don’t really have any basis in reality.
Regardless, the order was an intriguing, eclectic group of “warrior monks” who wielded tremendous power for a short time.

The Name Vatican And Etruscan Goddess Vatika Of The Underworld – What Is The Connection?

Ellen Lloyd – AncientPages.com – We are today so used to the name that we hardly think about how the Vatican got its name. The truth is that the name Vatican is neither Latin nor Greek and cannot be traced to the Bible. The Vatican is a symbol of Christianity.
The word we associate with the Church is closely linked to the Etruscan goddess Vatika. As you are about to discover, the name “Vatican” predates Christianity and is shrouded in mystery.
Inside The Vatican City State
The Vatican City State was founded on February 11, 1929. The city has a population of around 840 and an area of approximately 108 acres (44 hectares).
The Vatican is a symbol of the Roman Catholic faith. Its power and influence on religious people cannot be denied, and the Holy See’s authority extends over Catholics worldwide.
The Vatican is famous for its beautiful buildings, such as the Sistine Chapel, St. Peter’s Square, and St. Peter’s Basilica. The Vatican Palace, north of St. Peter’s Basilica, is the Pope’s residence within the city walls. The Vatican Museums are filled with masterpieces of painting, sculpture, and other works of art collected by the popes through the centuries. The Vatican Apostolic Library has its location inside the Vatican Palace.
The Vatican Library was founded in 1451 AD and held over 80,000 manuscripts, prints, drawings, plates, and incunabula (books printed before 1500 AD) written throughout history by people of different faiths from across the world.
To make ancient material available to the public, some years ago, the Vatican Apostolic Library started digitizing its valuable ancient religious manuscripts and putting them online via its website.
In 2014, the Vatican Library had 4,000 ancient manuscripts available for free.
The Vatican’s secret archives are not as secret as many think. The libraries have 52 miles of shelves, and the librarians prohibit browsing.
In 1881, Pope Leo XIII allowed scholars to visit the private archives for the first time, and in modern times it’s possible to get access to the documents. Still, outsiders must know what they are looking for.
The Etruscan Goddess Vatika Of The Underworld
The name Vatican is a true mystery. It has nothing to do with the Bible, Greek, or Latin. Like many other Christian traditions and customs, the name we associate with the Church has a pagan origin.
More than twenty-eight centuries ago, and before the legendary founding of Rome by Romulus and Remus, there were people called the Etruscans.
About 3000 years ago, the Etruscans settled in a region of Central Italy known as Etruria and ruled the Mediterranean region before Rome’s rise.
We are still trying to master the complex language of the Etruscans, but over the years, we have learned a lot about their beliefs and daily lives. Most of the knowledge we possess about Roman civilization comes from the Etruscans.
The Etruscans did not bury their dead inside the walls of their cities. Instead, they built a large cemetery on a hillside slope outside of their ancient city in the area that later became the city of Rome.
Sadly, most of Etruscan literature and mythology have been lost, but we know that the guardian of this necropolis was the Etruscan goddess Vatika (sometimes spelled Vatica). She was the goddess of the Underworld, and it was her duty to watch those who had passed away.
The Etruscans believed in an afterlife, but our knowledge is derived mainly from images and artifacts discovered inside their tombs. It seems that the Etruscan’s beliefs about the afterlife were similar to those of ancient Egyptians. Treatment of the deceased’s remains was necessary for survival and a successful journey to the next life.
Vanth, an Etruscan death daemon and servant of Charun (Greek Cheiron), lord of the Underworld, was often depicted on urns that held the ashes of cremated bodies. Vanth was usually depicted with wings and had bearded snakes around her arms.
According to Etruscan mythology, Vanth was present from the moment of death until entry into the Underworld.
Where Does The Name Vatican Come From?
Vatika had several other related meanings in ancient Etruscan. The name was not only associated with the goddess of the Underworld.
Vatika was also a bitter, not well-tasting grape used by a peasant to produce cheap wine. The grape and a weed with the same name grew on the slope. When people ate it, they experienced hallucinations, and the word passed on into Latin as a synonym for “prophetic vision.” The Latin word ‘vaticinor’ means “foretell, prophesy” from ‘vatis’ – “poet, teacher, oracle.”
Biblical sources have various explanations for the origin of the name Vatican. According to the Catholic Encyclopedia, the origin of the name Vaticanus is uncertain; some claim that the name comes from a vanished Etruscan town called Vaticum.
However, according to a Vatican curator, the Vatican Hill takes its name from the Latin word Vaticanus, a vaticiniis ferendis, in allusion to the oracles, or Vaticinia, which were anciently delivered here.
So, we can conclude that the origin of the name Vatican is unclear, but most researchers think the name was borrowed from the Etruscan language.

What Does The Scriptures Say About Famine In The Scriptures?
In many parts of the world today, food supply chains are an afterthought. But, throughout Scripture, famine was not an uncommon occurrence. While the physical causes of the famines varied, the Scripture indicates that YAHUAH is in control, even during times of scarcity. YAHUAH’s desire in bringing famine upon Yisrael was to gain His people’s attention in a sure-fire way—through their stomachs.
Not all famines are a result of YAHUAH’s direct judgment. We live in a world that has been cursed as a result of sin, and the ground does not produce like it did before the fall of man. Genesis 3:17–19 tells us that not only was mankind cursed, but also the entire creation. Through various times of famine, people have been faced with an opportunity to turn to the true Elohiym and Creator of everything. Yoseph’s time in Egypt allowed him to administrate the country through a time of both incredible bounty and severe famine (Genesis 41:25–31). It’s clear that YAHUAH had absolute power over this famine (verse 28), but it’s not described as a direct judgment since the famine became severe among many nations (verse 57).
There are many examples of famines that are similar to the one in Yoseph’s time that are not given as any specific judgment. However, there are plenty of famines that were used as a judgment to display the severity of the people’s sin and to bring them to repentance. As Moshe was giving the Yisraelites some final instructions from YAHUAH, he spoke of the blessings and curses of either obeying or denying the YAHUAH. If they chose to disobey YAHUAH’s commands and follow idols, “then YAHUAH’s anger will burn against you, and he will shut up the heavens so that it will not rain and the ground will yield no produce, and you will soon perish from the good land YAHUAH is giving you” (Deuteronomy 11:17).
During the time of King Ahab, “the famine was severe in Samaria” (1 Kings 18:2). It’s no coincidence that Ahab had previously “set up an altar for Baal in the temple of Baal that he built in Samaria. Ahab also made an Asherah pole” (1 Kings 16:32–33). YAHUAH had been crystal clear in the law: if Yisrael served false elohim’s (gods), then there would be famine in the land. Ahab bowed to false elohim’s, and YAHUAH stopped the rain. The famine during the reign of Ahab and Jezebel should have been no surprise to anyone.
Under the terms of the Old Covenant, people trying to live without YAHUAH were often awakened to their true need by experiencing famine. Going without sufficient food has a way of getting our attention, as YAHUAH well knows: “He humbled you, causing you to hunger and then feeding you with manna, which neither you nor your ancestors had known, to teach you that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of YAHUAH” (Deuteronomy 8:3).
Even worse than a famine of physical food is a famine of spiritual food. Because Yisrael rejected the prophets, YAHUAH promised a severe judgment: “‘The days are coming,’ declares the Sovereign Elohim, ‘when I will send a famine through the land—not a famine of food or a thirst for water, but a famine of hearing the words of YAHUAH’” (Amos 8:11). How tragic to turn a deaf ear to YAHUAH and be given just what we want—silence from YAH!
In His goodness, YAHUAH sent His Son to earth. YAHUSHA is the Bread of Life “that comes down from heaven and gives life to the world” (John 6:33). YAHUSHA promised us that, through faith in Him, we will never experience spiritual famine again: “Whoever comes to me will never go hungry” (verse 35). So much better than the manna of the Old Testament, YAHUSHA gives life forevermore: “I am the bread of life. Your ancestors ate the manna in the wilderness, yet they died. But here is the bread that comes down from heaven, which anyone may eat and not die. I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats this bread will live forever” (verses 48–51). In Messiah, there is no spiritual famine; rather, we have a veritable feast of YAHUAH’s goodness. Someday the curse upon the ground will be lifted as well, and the new earth will never see a famine of any kind (Revelation 22:3).
Last year the government had all famers to destroy all crops and live stock
This year the super farms can not get Fertilizers to even grow the crops and Tractor and Farm machinery parts is non existent.
So last seasons crop was destroyed. This years crop can’t be planted for the shortages of parts and fertilizers….
Then to beat the band as if that was not bad enough they go burins down food processing plants.
Folks we are already in famine and people are in such a deep hypnotic trance that have no clue until dodo hits the fan.

The government purposefully destroying the food supply by wiping out the bees at the same time as all these facilities.
HARTSVILLE, S.C. (WBTW) — About 1.2 million bees are dead following a barn fire last month in Hartsville. according to an announcement Friday morning from the Darlington County Sheriff’s Office.
The fire, which occurred on April 24, destroyed a pole barn in the 2500 block of North Center Road, according to authorities. There were 24 beehives inside.
They kill off the bees we will starve to death… It is the bees that do that work to cross pollenate all our vegetation and without cross pollination we will not be able to grow any vegetation or food

I did this Music Video the First Spring when I moved here when beginning my the Journey towards Restoration & Healing.
Friends Just 11 years ago Brother couldn’t even walk without Holding His Hand. I was 320 pounds with a herniated disc in my lower right back and was flat on my back for months. It took the best part of a year before I could walk again. Even at that we were using a walker then went to a cane. When we lost all that weight and was down to 235 pounds we were able to house keep on our own one more time. Today, I weigh 185 pounds, 34 inch waist and in a large shirt. It’s the best my health has been in many long years

Here is a little melody we composed a few years back when I lost everything. Lost my health, my family, my job then to beat the band lost my most beautiful, smart and talented daughter when she was at the young age of 22 years old due to heart failure.
Children, this old man wanted to die. Felt like dying. My heart was literally bleeding out.
In my grief and despondency I cried out to our ABBA YAUHAH and as I was pouring my heart out to Him I sat at the piano and this is what gushed out of the depths of my heart.
I never put words to this little tune but my heart swells up with playing it and as I enter worship to our Elohim.

Brother Gerald would like to take a moment of your most valuable time to share with you part of my personal journey of some very dark days we were facing back in the day.
Back when Brother Gerald was married the wife had fallen for a TV preacher called Bennie Hinn. She wanted to be like him. To be world famous and go on tour. She had to go see him when he came to Atlanta Georgia and we bought the tickets, the hotel rooms and took along a van load of her friends.
It was a mad house and circus to say the least what I saw. The second service we attended the ex kept holding her hands over her face during the exceptional emotional music they were playing and when she came up for air she said that god had called her to preach and she was going to quit her job.
I knew right then and there my marriage was over for the absence of her income will and did bankrupted me.
She got into demonology or something. She hooked up with a group that was supposed to be casting out demons from people and saw some weird stuff. Well the ex had it in her mind because I enjoy smooth jazz and old tv westerns I was full of the devil. I had demons and could not be head or priest of our family and now she’s the head. And It’s either her way or the highway.
After she had flushed the 3rd set of wedding rings down the toilet and 3 months without her contribution to the household income and bill collators at me left and right. Then she says you do it my way or else and I said I guess it’s or else and she goes and flushed the 3rd set of wedding rings.
I packed up my bags and left.
I became very depressed and instead of turning to the Almighty for help I turned to those whacked out psychotic witchdoctors and they had be on so much dope I became suicidal and even attempted it by taking 17 different medications those quacks had me on.
As I was being over taken with the drug overdosing I called my daughter and told her I was sorry I had failed her as a daddy. I told her that I love her with all my heart. I’m sure as I was being overcome by the drugs my words became slurred and I possibly passed out while talking.
She immediately called 911 and sent them to me.
All I can faintly remember someone running a tube down my throat and fighting them to get it out.
3 days later I woke in the hospital then taken to a mental institution for 30 days.
What an ordeal that was.
As I was trying to heal and start a new life without my family was most difficult adjustment for I had lost my identity and had to rediscover and redefine myself a new.
I was working in a church as music minister and the pastors wife wanted me to learn the song by the The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir “Use Me”.
I was not familiar with the tune and called my daughter to see if she did and yes she did and we made plans for me to go over so she can help me learn the new song “Use Me”.
We caught on fast and had a most cherished time sitting at the piano with my daughter singing and playing one more time.
The song was a big success and many were blessed with our presentation.
Just a few days later I get call from a old friend that my daughter (of 22 years old) had past away in her sleep due to heart failure.
When I heard this words I felt I was going to have heart failure as well.
And all I could think of here this precious little angle saved my good for nothing life and I was helpless saving hers.
I didn’t blame ABBA Father for this tragedy but I sure did blame myself and took years to get though losing our precious daughter.
So this little tune means a lot to old Brother Gerald.

The Soul is in the Blood
A Blood-Soul Connection?
He shall redeem their soul from deceit and violence: and precious shall their blood be in his sight.(Psalms 72:14)
When Yahuah breathed life into Adam he became a living soul, so there’s a connection between life, blood and breath (spirit), which is why the Children of Yisrael and the early Assembly had prohibitions on eating blood or meat with blood in it.
Moreover ye shall eat no manner of blood, whether it be of fowl or of beast, in any of your dwellings. Whatsoever soul it be that eateth any manner of blood, even that soul shall be cut off from his people.
(Leviticus 7:26-27)
The Scripture tells us that the life of the flesh is in the blood. If we take this literally then this could be the spirit, a vapor which inhaled and then dissolves in the blood. Indeed, it’s the spirit that animates a body through metabolism. We’re learning that the blood is the seat of the soul.
For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul. Therefore I said unto the children of Yisrael, No soul of you shall eat blood, neither shall any stranger that sojourneth among you eat blood. And whatsoever man there be of the children of Yisrael, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, which hunteth and catcheth any beast or fowl that may be eaten; he shall even pour out the blood thereof, and cover it with dust.For it is the life of all flesh; the blood of it is for the life thereof: therefore I said unto the children of Ysrael, Ye shall eat the blood of no manner of flesh: for the life of all flesh is the blood thereof: whosoever eateth it shall be cut off.

A History of Birthstones and the Breastplate of Aaron
Have you ever wondered where the idea of birthstones comes from?
It may surprise you that the history of birthstones has its roots all the way back in the Scriptures. In fact, the King James Version of the Bible contains an astonishing 1,704 references to gemstones. The most detailed description of all can be found in the Book of Exodus, a text probably based on ancient oral tradition and written down in stages between around 600 and 400BC.
Described in Exodus is the Breastplate of Aaron, a sacred object worn by the High Priest of the Yisraelites in order to communicate with YAHUAH. Worn over the Priest’s sacred vestments, it was attached by shoulder straps at the corners and contained twelve gemstones.
The first academic research of the Breastplate was carried out by Roman scholar Titus Flavius Josephus (c.37-100AD), who apart from having a fabulous name, studied the twelve gemstones of Aaron’s Breastplate, and compiled the first list of Birthstones based on his findings.
THE BREASTPLATE OF AARON
“It is to be square – a span long and a span wide – and folded double. Then mount four rows of precious stones on it. The first row shall be Carnelian, Chrysolite and Beryl; the second row shall be Turquoise, Lapis Lazuli and Emerald; the third row shall be Jacinth, Agate and Amethyst; the fourth row shall be Topaz, Onyx and Jasper. Mount them in gold filigree settings. There are to be twelve stones, one for each of the names of the sons of Yisrael, each engraved like a seal with the name of one of the twelve tribes.” Exodus 28:16-20
Used to communicate with YAHUAH, the Breastplate was originally worn by Aaron, elder brother of Moshe (Moses). It is also known as the Priestly Breastplate, or the Breastplate of Judgement. It contained the ‘Urim’ and ‘Thummim’, two stones used to determine YAHUAH’s will.
Scholar Josephus realized that the number twelve has huge significance. From the twelve stones on the Breastplate, to the twelve gemstones mentioned in the Book of Revelation (c.69-96AD), to the number of the sons of Yisrael, to the signs of the Zodiac, and the months of the Roman calendar year.
In the 5th Century, another Biblical scholar, St Jerome, posited a different idea – that the twelve gemstones of Revelation could be used to represent each month, giving a slightly different list of possible birthstones.
NAMING OF GEMSTONES
The list of gemstones in the Breastplate varies in every version of Exodus. Descriptions of gemstones from the Scriptures are always difficult to interpret, since there was scant scientific understanding of mineral composition until much later. In fact, it is only really since the work of Georgius Agricola (1494-1555) that gemstones have begun to be properly understood. He recorded differences in physical properties between gems, including differences in specific gravity, hardness and form, revealing that gemstones couldn’t only be classified by their color and opacity.
Before this time, the names used for most gems were wildly inaccurate. ‘Carbuncle’ was used in the Bible for all red gems, particularly Garnets, but it could also be used for coal or charcoal! ‘Alabaster’ was used for light-colored soft stones that could be used for carving, usually meaning either Calcite or gypsum, but sometimes also any white or whitish rock. ‘Chrysolite’ was any green gem, which could have been Peridot, Topaz, Zircon, Tourmaline or Apatite. ‘Jacinth’ or ‘Hyacinth’ usually referred to Yellow Zircon.
Some gemstones’ names have become associated with completely different stones over the years. The stone known as ‘Sapphir’ in the original Hebrew was said to contain specks of gold. We now call this gem Lapis Lazuli and know the flecks of gold are actually iron pyrite, also known as ‘fool’s gold’. These days the blue variety of corundum is known as ‘Sapphire’.
There is unfortunately no agreement on what the gems in the Breastplate actually were, but the most comprehensive studies suggest that they may have been (1st row) Carnelian, Peridot and Emerald, (2nd row) Garnet, Lapis Lazuli and Quartz, (3rd row) Yellow Zircon, Banded Agate and Amethyst, (4th row) Citrine, Onyx and Green Jasper.
However, it was not until as late as perhaps the 17th century that it was suggested that you should wear the gemstone attributed to your birth month year round. Up until that point, you would try and own all twelve and change them every month.
But nobody could agree on what the twelve gems should be. Different lists were used, as there was no consensus on what the gems mentioned in the Scriptures actually were, and different countries had different traditions. Clearly, this was confusing. So in 1912, the American National Jewelers’ Association compiled a new birthstone list. A few amendments later, including the addition of Tanzanite in 2002, and Spinel in 2016, and we have the list we use today.
Every birth gem is shrouded in ancient myths and folklore. Even Tanzanite, which was only discovered in 1967, is already said to be useful to expectant mothers. Most famously, perhaps, is Amethyst’s supposed ability to protect from drunkenness. Wearing your birthstone is said to enhance the mystical and healing powers of the gem itself.

Aaron and his sons were the Zadok Temple Priest. Aaron, was the High Zadok Temple Priest and they were in charge of keeping everyone in step with YAHUAH’s Word (Torah) and to YAHUAH’s Solar Calendar we call the Zadokite Priestly Solar Calendar found in the Dead Sea Scrolls, and the Book of Jubilees and they line up with Enoch and Genesis…. For Your Information 😉

The Second Passover
I will give men for you, and people for your life (Isa 43:3-4)

The essence of Scriptural prophecy is that YAHUAH will restore Yisrael, that He will recover this chosen nation from the North Country and from all of the countries where He has driven the people of Yisrael. In this recovery, Yisrael’s exodus from Egypt will be forgotten (Jer 16:14–15; 23:7–8) as a remnant of the Qodesh (Set-Apart) nation leaves Assyria [the North Country] as Yisrael came up from the land of Egypt. (Isa 11:11–16)
As the Qodesh One of Yisrael gave Egypt as the ransom for Yisrael, His firstborn son (Ex 4:22), He will again give the lives of men in exchange for the life of Yisrael (Isa 43:3–4), now a nation circumcised of heart by RUACH (Spirit) (Rom 2:28-29; Col 2:11; Deut 30:6), a nation that was not before a nation or a people (1 Pet 2:9–10). As the Qodesh (Holy) One of Yisrael claimed the firstborn of Egypt, of men and of beasts, as His own to do with as He pleased; and as He required that Yisrael redeem its firstborn by a covering of blood on entryways into the houses of Yisrael; this Qodesh Holy (Set-Apart) of Yisrael will again claim the lives of firstborns when He redeems the spiritually circumcised nation from indwelling sin and death that continues to reside in the fleshly members of Yisrael … as He brought Yisrael up out of sin, He will bring Yisrael up out of death, what Assyria and the North Country represent.
Spiritual Yisrael’s recovery from death—the nation’s salvation—is of such greater importance than the ancient nation’s liberation from physical bondage to a physical Pharaoh that the exodus from Egypt will be forgotten.
The covenant of YAHUAH the Qodesh One of Yisrael made with Yisrael on the day He took the nation by the hand to bring it out of Egypt (Heb 8:9) was ratified with the death—the shedding of blood—of the firstborn of Egypt. This is the covenant that will be superseded by a new covenant, one that has the Torah (laws) of YAHUAH written on the hearts and minds of Yisrael, one that causes all to Know YAHUAH (v. 11). But a covenant is the distance between cuttings, between an initial shedding of blood and a shedding of blood that ends the covenant; thus, the covenant made between YAHUAH the Qoesh One of Yisrael and the fathers of the nation extends forward until the lives of the firstborn of this world are given as ransom for endtime Yisrael’s liberation from bondage to indwelling sin and death.
The seven end time years of tribulation are about Yisrael’s recovery from Death, the fourth horseman of the Apocalypse, the fourth beast of Daniel chapter seven, the spiritual king of the North. The Passover Lamb of YAHUAH, a lamb appropriate to the size of the household of YAHUAH, was slain at even when the present long spiritual night of waiting and watching began. But death angels have not yet passed over the world—humanity has lived through nearly six thousand years of recorded history that are, typologically, as the six hours Yisrael watched and waited in Egypt were. At the appropriate time, death angels will pass over all of the earth, slaying firstborns not covered by the blood of the Lamb of YAHUAH.
In the wilderness of Sinai when Yisrael was to eat the Passover lamb in the second year, certain men were defiled from touching a dead body. Moshe asked YAHUAH what should be done, and he received an answer: “If any one of you or of your descendants is unclean through touching a dead body, or is on a long journey, he shall still keep the Passover to YAHUAH. In the second month on the fourteenth day at twilight they shall keep it” (Num 9:10–11).
This makeup observation of the Passover is what has been traditionally identified as the second Passover. Thus, today, spiritually circumcised disciples keep the Passover observance by commemorating it at a meal on the evening of the 15 of Abib, a Night to be Much Observed. But if a person who should take the Passover in the first month is unable to do so, the person keeps the Passover in the second month such is the importance of covering sin with the blood of Messiah (Matt 26:28).
However, the importance of the second Passover does not begin or end with a makeup date for taking the Passover sacraments, for it is on this date when the lives of men will again be given as ransom for the liberation of now spiritually circumcised Yisrael in a manner foreshadowed by ancient Yisrael’s liberation from bondage to Pharaoh. It is on this date when Yisrael will be again tested by Sabbath observance (Ex 16:1–4). It will be on or about this date when a time as it was in the days of Noah, who in the six hundredth year of his life, on the 17th day of the second month (Gen 7:11), saw the flood come and sweep all away will begin that catches humanity unaware, this time being the Tribulation.

What Does The Scriptures Say About Famine In The Scriptures?
In many parts of the world today, food supply chains are an afterthought. But, throughout Scripture, famine was not an uncommon occurrence. While the physical causes of the famines varied, the Scripture indicates that YAHUAH is in control, even during times of scarcity. YAHUAH’s desire in bringing famine upon Yisrael was to gain His people’s attention in a sure-fire way—through their stomachs.
Not all famines are a result of YAHUAH’s direct judgment. We live in a world that has been cursed as a result of sin, and the ground does not produce like it did before the fall of man. Genesis 3:17–19 tells us that not only was mankind cursed, but also the entire creation. Through various times of famine, people have been faced with an opportunity to turn to the true Elohiym and Creator of everything. Yoseph’s time in Egypt allowed him to administrate the country through a time of both incredible bounty and severe famine (Genesis 41:25–31). It’s clear that YAHUAH had absolute power over this famine (verse 28), but it’s not described as a direct judgment since the famine became severe among many nations (verse 57).
There are many examples of famines that are similar to the one in Yoseph’s time that are not given as any specific judgment. However, there are plenty of famines that were used as a judgment to display the severity of the people’s sin and to bring them to repentance. As Moshe was giving the Yisraelites some final instructions from YAHUAH, he spoke of the blessings and curses of either obeying or denying the YAHUAH. If they chose to disobey YAHUAH’s commands and follow idols, “then YAHUAH’s anger will burn against you, and he will shut up the heavens so that it will not rain and the ground will yield no produce, and you will soon perish from the good land YAHUAH is giving you” (Deuteronomy 11:17).
During the time of King Ahab, “the famine was severe in Samaria” (1 Kings 18:2). It’s no coincidence that Ahab had previously “set up an altar for Baal in the temple of Baal that he built in Samaria. Ahab also made an Asherah pole” (1 Kings 16:32–33). YAHUAH had been crystal clear in the law: if Yisrael served false elohim’s (gods), then there would be famine in the land. Ahab bowed to false elohim’s, and YAHUAH stopped the rain. The famine during the reign of Ahab and Jezebel should have been no surprise to anyone.
Under the terms of the Old Covenant, people trying to live without YAHUAH were often awakened to their true need by experiencing famine. Going without sufficient food has a way of getting our attention, as YAHUAH well knows: “He humbled you, causing you to hunger and then feeding you with manna, which neither you nor your ancestors had known, to teach you that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of YAHUAH” (Deuteronomy 8:3).
Even worse than a famine of physical food is a famine of spiritual food. Because Yisrael rejected the prophets, YAHUAH promised a severe judgment: “‘The days are coming,’ declares the Sovereign Elohim, ‘when I will send a famine through the land—not a famine of food or a thirst for water, but a famine of hearing the words of YAHUAH’” (Amos 8:11). How tragic to turn a deaf ear to YAHUAH and be given just what we want—silence from YAH!
In His goodness, YAHUAH sent His Son to earth. YAHUSHA is the Bread of Life “that comes down from heaven and gives life to the world” (John 6:33). YAHUSHA promised us that, through faith in Him, we will never experience spiritual famine again: “Whoever comes to me will never go hungry” (verse 35). So much better than the manna of the Old Testament, YAHUSHA gives life forevermore: “I am the bread of life. Your ancestors ate the manna in the wilderness, yet they died. But here is the bread that comes down from heaven, which anyone may eat and not die. I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats this bread will live forever” (verses 48–51). In Messiah, there is no spiritual famine; rather, we have a veritable feast of YAHUAH’s goodness. Someday the curse upon the ground will be lifted as well, and the new earth will never see a famine of any kind (Revelation 22:3).
