History reveals that the letter “J” did not exist about 500 years ago. One of the most asked questions of the century. How can the Messiah’s Name be Jesus if the letter “J” did not exist 500 years ago? When did the letter “J” come into existent and is it accurate to say the Messiah’s Name is indeed Jesus? The Messiah walked on earth about 2,000 years ago. If the letter and sound of “J” did not exist when the Messiah walked on this earth, what was His Name and when did the letter and sound of “J” come into existence?
In the English Alphabet, the letter “J” was originally used for the letter “I”. The first to distinguish the difference between the letter “J” and the letter “I” was in Gian Giorgio’s 1524 “Trissino’s Epistola del Trissino de le lettere nuwvamente aggiunte ne la lingua ialiana” (Trissino’s epistle about the letters recently added in the Italian language) “I” and “J” were originally the same letter but different shapes both equally the same letter. However, poets began to use it developing new sounds for “I” and “J”. According to the history of the English Alphabet, the official and original sound of the letter “J” was the sound of “Y” in “yet” or “yellow”. However, the very first English-language book to make clear distinction between the sound of “I” and the sound of “J” was not written until 1634. It wasn’t until then, after the 1611 Bible was published, that the English language officially accepted the shape and sound of the letter “J” as “jay” and no longer the “yuh” “Y” sound.
There is not now nor was there ever an equivalent letter “J” in all the 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet. Nor is there any Hebrew letter that carries even an approximate sound of the consonant letter “J”. Neither is there a letter “J” in the Greek alphabet.
When you sing and praise, do you not speak Hallelujah? How do you pronounce it? Did you know, Wycliffe’s bible, does not have it spelled Hallelujah, but rather “Alleluia” but it is pronounced Ha-le-loo-Yah. The reason we write it as “HalleluYah”. It means in Hebrew, Praise be to YAH!
We received an email informing us that the letter “J” is found in Wycliffe’s Bible dating to the late 1300s. Wycliffe’s bible was ONLY a translation of the New Testament AND was not from the original Hebrew and Aramaic, but of the Latin Vulgate. The 1611 KJV Bible was the original most known and accepted translation of the bible. And this bible has absolutely no letter “J” in it. The name Jesus is simply a combination of the Latin and Greek IESOUS. Please note the similarity between the Greek IESOUS and pagan deity of Zeus. In fact, the pagan deity of Zeus is not pronounced in its original tongue as we read it. As we have discussed, there isn’t even a letter or sound of “J” in the Greek Alphabet. While the historical references are foggy about when the initial and exact time the letter “J” sound came into existence in the English language, the window is sometime between the 1500-1600s. This current modern translation of what the world uses… Jesus, did not exist until give or take, 500 years ago.
If the letter “J”, it’s shape and sound is only about 500 years old, what was the Messiah’s Name? How could He have been called Jesus if this version of His Name did not even exist two thousand years ago? What was and still is His Name?
To be honest with you. The Messiah did not speak English and neither did He speak Greek. Of course, we can tell you whatever language we want to say He spoke. Throughout history one can figure out the language spoken about 2,000 years ago in the land of Israel. This could be a beneficial way to figure out the language te Messiah spoke. However, that wouldn’t tell us what language the Messiah actually spoke. Thankfully, the book of Acts give us a clear answer to what language the Messiah spoke. When He stopped Sha’ul (Paul) on the road to Damascus.
“And when we had all fallen to the ground, I heard a voice speaking to me, and saying,in theHebrew language, “Sha’ul, Sha’ul, why do you persecute Me? It is hard for you to kick against the prods.” And I said, “Who are you, Master?” And He said, “I am YAHUSHA, whom you persecute.” Acts, 26: 14-15 (ISR)
The Messiah spoke Hebrew. In fact, the Messiah was indeed Hebrew. Was raised in a Jewish home and was a Yahudim (Jewish). He even tells the Samaritan woman at the well that He is a Yahudim (Jew) in YAHUCHANON (John) 4:22.
Doesn’t it make you wonder who is this man everyone calls Jesus? How did he end up in the picture and why was the Messiah’s true Name forgotten? Remember, The Father’s Name “YAHUAH” is in the Son’s Name “YAHUSHA”. If they hated the Father’s Name, they hated the Son’s Name also. The story doesn’t end here. For further studies on the Father and Son’s Name, we beseech you watch our movie The Great Conspiracy, along with They Have Despised My Name. To learn about the Father’s Name, read our book, HaShem (The Name), watch our short four minute video called HaShem (The Name). To learn about the Messiah’s Name, read The Name Above All Names.
Since the beginning of the year, the Free Thought Project has been reporting on the hysteria associated with the measles outbreak and the subsequent loss of liberties and police state crackdown that’s ensued. We’ve seen children banned from public spaces, mandatory vaccinations, and a pro-vaccine push in the mainstream media like we’ve never seen before. Now, the pro-mandatory vaccine push has reached a new level, as the Washington Post published an article calling for the arrest of those who choose not to vaccinate.
As TFTP reported at the end of March, in one of the most shocking moves to date over the 2019 measles outbreak, Rockland County officials declared a state of emergency and effectively banned any child under the age of 18, who had not received the MMR vaccine, from all public spaces. Then, last month, officials took it one step further and ordered mandatory vaccinations for multiple New York zip codes. Those who try to resist getting the shots are being fined.
While this may sound like an insane police state forcing people to undergo medical procedures against their will to many people, to others, it is utopia.
In the Washington Post this week, Juliette Kayyem took to the platform to advocate for fining and arresting people who choose not to vaccinate.
“With more than 700 reported (measles) cases confirmed in 22 states, it is now a public safety crisis, and the tools of public safety — arrests, fines, isolation — are absolutely necessary,” this would-be tyrant wrote.
Kayyem referred to those who choose not to vaccinate as “pro-plague” and “free riders” who “are putting my children and our communities at risk.”
While this sort of police state talk could be easily dismissed as hysteria from some babbling fool, Kayyem is not some random babbling fool. She is the former assistant secretary at the Department of Homeland Security.
That’s right, this person — who worked for DHS and could very well pull strings to get her sick desire to force medicate society carried out — is advocating for people to be rounded up and thrown in jail for abstaining from vaccines. This is utter dystopian insanity.
According to Kayyem, the some 700 cases of measles in the United States — which have not killed a single person — is a “crisis” worthy of ushering in a Hitleresque-style medical police state like we’ve never seen.
To deter those who think this article is some “rabid anti-vaxxer nonsense” it is important to point out that TFTP is not anti-vaccine at all. We are merely pro-vaccine safety and pro informed consent.
The irony of many of these folks being pro-choice when it comes to abortion but advocating for the removal of choice when it comes to a vaccine would be laughable if it weren’t so hypocritically tyrannical.
And this tyranny is already happening. Currently, families who are refusing the forced MMR vaccinations in New York are being hit with fines totaling thousands of dollars.
The hysteria over this measles outbreak borderlines on insanity as measles is not even on the list of federally quarantinable diseases. Yet quarantines are already happening and this crazed woman is calling for arrests.
Furthermore, though 90,000 people die around the world from measles every year, according to the World Health Organization, malnutrition, especially vitamin A deficiency is the primary cause of death in those cases. In fact, 75-92% of measles hospitalizations in the United States are also due to vitamin A deficiency.
Even the CDC admits that before the measles mass vaccination program was introduced, nearly everyone contracted measles and obtained lifetime immunity by age 15.
According to Physicians for Informed Consent, in the modern era, it is rare to suffer permanent disability or death from measles in the United States. Between 1900 and 1963, the mortality rate of measles dropped from 13.3 per 100,000 to 0.2 per 100,000 in the population, due to advancements in living conditions, nutrition, and health care—a 98% decline—not the vaccine. This is illustrated in the figure below.
According to the CDC, since October, there have only been 423 cases of measles in the New York area. There have only been 25 hospitalizations and zero deaths. In fact, in the entire country, there have only been three measles-related deaths — in the last 20 years — and this lady wants you thrown in a cage for it.
Yet still, government is tracking down those who haven’t received the measles vaccine and forcing them to take it, threatening their very freedom if they refuse.
To reiterate once more, no one here is advocating “antivaxxer” information. TFTP is simply questioning the government forcing medical procedures on citizens without their consent and advocating for the arrest of those who refuse.
As TFTP has previously reported, although some studies do link unvaccinated people to measles cases, according to multiple other studies, the MMR vaccine is likely worse than getting measles.
In 2017, the Physicians for Informed Consent (PIC) reported in the British Medical Journal that every year, approximately 5,700 U.S. children suffer from seizures as a direct result of the measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) vaccine.
“In the United States, measles is generally a benign, short-term viral infection; 99.99% of measles cases fully recover,” said Dr. Shira Miller, PIC president and founder. “As it has not been proven that the MMR vaccine is safer than measles, there is insufficient evidence to demonstrate that mandatory measles mass vaccination results in a net public health benefit in the United States.”
While there is a risk of seizure from contracting measles, according to the data, the risk of developing seizures from the vaccine to combat measles is five times higher.
What’s more, the seizures from the MMR vaccine are far worse, according to the study, and can cause permanent harm.
“For example, 5% of febrile seizures result in epilepsy, a chronic brain disorder that leads to recurring seizures. Annually, about 300 MMR-vaccine seizures (5% of 5,700) will lead to epilepsy,” PIC points out.
Now, as the government rounds people up and forces them to take this vaccine for a non-life-threatening virus, according to the CDC’s own data, children will undoubtedly be injured in this process. To those who resist out of fear it may harm their child or religious beliefs, the former assistant secretary at the Department of Homeland Security and the Washington Post think you need to be rounded up and thrown in cages.

(Natural News) A full 15 years after the Vatican issued a statement questioning the morality of getting vaccinated with vaccines made from aborted human fetal tissue, the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of England & Wales (CBCEW) has issued its own statement suggesting that Catholics have a “prima facie duty to be vaccinated,” regardless of the contents of vaccines.
According to these U.K. bishops, “all clinically recommended vaccinations can be used with a clear conscience,” despite the use of aborted baby cell lines in their manufacture.
“The Catholic Church strongly supports vaccination and regards Catholics as having a prima facie duty to be vaccinated, not only for the sake of their own health but also out of solidarity with others, especially the most vulnerable,” reads a letter published on July 30.
“We believe that there is a moral obligation to guarantee the vaccination coverage necessary for the safety of others,” it goes on to read. “This is especially important for the discovery of a vaccine against COVID-19.”
Bishops Paul Mason and John Sherrington, who are listed on the CBCEW website as “Lead Bishop for Healthcare” and “Lead Bishop for Life Issues” respectively, say that while the Church is opposed to the use of aborted human fetal tissue in childhood vaccines, getting jabbed is still important because it supposedly helps to save lives.
“[T]he Church teaches that the paramount importance of the health of a child and other vulnerable persons could permit parents to use a vaccine which was in the past developed using these diploid cell lines,” the letter further explains.
Not getting vaccinated is basically a sin, according to bishops
Even though they cited the pro-life 2005 Pontifical Academy for Life document entitled, “Moral reflections on vaccines prepared from cells derived from aborted human fetuses,” the bishops also cited a 2017 document from the Pontifical Academy for Life, which states:
“… all clinically recommended vaccinations can be used with a clear conscience and that the use of such vaccines does not signify some sort of cooperation with voluntary abortion.”
The burden of combating the unethical practices of Big Pharma are apparently not the concern of the general public, according to these bishops. People need to just continue getting vaccinated with whatever the vaccine industry releases for injection into children because otherwise these children might die.
“If a pregnant woman, for example a teacher in a school, comes into contact with unvaccinated children, unfair and complex moral decisions may be imposed upon her, including whether it would be safe for her to work during her pregnancy,” the letter continues.
“Exposure to unvaccinated children could incur serious consequences, the gravest of which include a threat to the lives of the mother and her unborn child.”
The letter does not explain, however, how a vaccinated pregnant teacher would be at risk of contracting illness from an unvaccinated child, seeing as how she was already vaccinated. Nevertheless, this is the position of the CBCEW, which, like the Catholic position on GMOs (genetically modified organisms), is largely nonsensical and incongruent with Christianity.
Recognizing that many Catholics are distraught at the idea of vaccinating themselves or their children with aborted human fetal tissue, these bishops reiterate in their letter that “[t]he Church distinguishes between the present unethical sourcing of vaccines and the use of historical cell-lines which were derived from aborted foetuses in the 1970s.”
In other words, stop thinking about it and just get your jabs, Catholics. Vaccines always work and are always effective, according to the CBCEW, and you will put everyone else at risk if you refuse them.
Truth be told, vaccines are not safe and effective, nor are they morally aligned with the teachings of scripture. To learn more, check out Vaccines.news.
Yom Kippur is called the Day of Atonement. It is observed on the 10th day of the seventh month. Yom Kippur is a Sabbath on which no work is to be done.
Lev 23:27 Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto YAHUAH.
Lev 23:28 And ye shall do no work in that same day: for it is a day of atonement, to make an atonement for you before YAHUAH your ELOHIYM.
Lev 23:29 For whatsoever soul it be that shall not be afflicted in that same day, he shall be cut off from among his people.
Lev 23:30 And whatsoever soul it be that doeth any work in that same day, the same soul will I destroy from among his people.
Lev 23:31 Ye shall do no manner of work: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
Lev 23:32 It shall be unto you a Sabbath of rest, and ye shall afflict your souls: in the ninth day of the month at even, from even unto even, shall ye celebrate your Sabbath.
Yom Kippur is the most solemn day on the Hebrew calendar. It is a time of soul searching and fasting.
Atonement is translated from the Hebrew word “kaphar” which means to “cover over”. Our sins are “covered over” by the blood of YAHUSHA. This was the time that the High Priest would go once a year into the Holy of Holies and make 3 confessions; those for his sins, for the sins of the priestly tribe of Levi and lastly, for the nation of Yisrael (Israel). The confession on this date was the only time they actually called aloud upon the set apart name of YAHUAH. This was probably different before the Babylonian captivity, but afterwards the set apart name was prohibited to even utter, except at this one time per year.
The High Priest of Yisrael (Israel) would make an offering of a bull and two goats. One of the two goats was known as the scapegoat (Azazel). It was selected by drawing lots; one lot, a white stone was marked for YAHUAH and the other, a black stone for Azazel. According to the Jews, for 200 years prior to 30 AD, the drawing was usually random. The black stone would come up as often as the white one. But after 30 AD and for 40 years prior to the destruction of the temple, the black stone for Azazel came up 40 straight times in the priests right hand.
The sins of the people were laid upon the scapegoat and it was sent off into the wilderness. Also, a scarlet ribbon was tied to a horn of the scapegoat and the other end tied to the door of the temple. It was cut when the scapegoat was sent away. When it died, the ribbon on the temple door turned white signifying that Yisrael’s (Israel’s) sins were forgiven. But after the crucifixion of YAHUSHA in 30 AD, the ribbon never again turned white.
Jewish tradition says that on the final services of Yom Kippur, it was believed that the gates of heaven were once again closed. When the great trumpet was sounded at the close of Yom Kippur, the gates were believed to be closed and the books were shut for another year. This is pure speculation on the part of the Jews as this is not found in scripture.

Personal Commentary:
Yom Kippur The Day of Atonement
For those who aren’t familiar is one of the seven Times Appointed for all generations forever in the Old Testament of Scripture. It is the second to last Appointed Times. It is essential and gracious and is extraordinarily powerful.
It is not a time to fast of food or pleasure. It is a deep cleaning of person by forced abandonment of sin. The only fasting is that of the ego.
After keeping the Feasts many years in faith that ABBA would bring me to understand the meaning of His Divine Appointments despite my Christian upbringing I finally understood Yom Kippur and learned to cherish the power of a soul afflicted.
There is a form of godliness that fools us into powerlessness without our even knowing it. Do you find yourself continuing in sin? Have you humbled yourself?
The Hebrew word is not fast.. it is humble.. anah.
A humbling… is the very key that unlocks the power of godliness, and supercharges prayer and allows us to produce an abundance of fruit… and so fittingly right before the greater harvest.
How do you humble yourself?
The only thing that I have seen that truly humbles and cleanses is confronting each sin in our life and defeating them one by one by confessing them and correcting them through disciplined practice. Go to those who you have wronged and apologize specifically for your fault and make amends despite the dreaded or actual cost.
Pay your debts, make good on your word to others, shock your enemies with only loving and forgiving responses even to harsh rebuke, spite or bitter chastisement, apologize to every single person you defrauded or caused harm, force yourself to clear your conscience of everything you have done, every attitude or thought that was wrong or false or unjust or uncaring, or spiteful, or arrogant, or rebellious, anything you did that caused or influenced another to sin. Repent forcefully.
Become blameless by the renewal of a guiltless mind, and force your body to continue until everything has been addressed. Accept that your act of humility may not be gracefully accepted by those who you have wronged and know that it may be difficult to even open your mouth to confess for fear of brutal human rejection at times. You will be extremely terrified at the possible consequences and it will be uncomfortable… But you will see what Grace is.
Confront your sin and force it into the light until there is nothing left. Discipline yourself to accept the consequences.
If you do this you will be humbled and you will not want to continue in sin. You will destroy the power of temptation in your life.
Do not be fooled into thinking that you somehow got away with things that were wrong and do not quench the spirit when it tries to help you clean house by bringing sin to your mind. Get it over with. All things will be laid bare, the truth will find you out, there is nothing hidden that will not be revealed. Get rid of your guilt and humble yourself in the sight of The Almighty and you will know that He has noticed you.
In fact, you will be astonished at the mercy you will receive.
Yom Kippur… The Day of Atonement….
Decorating the temple before a banquet cannot happen until the temple is clean.
Afflict your soul and clean it.

And this shall be a statute forever unto you: that in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, ye shall afflict את eth-your souls, and do no work at all, whether it be one of your own country, or a stranger that sojourns among you:
VAYIQRA (LEVITICUS) 16:29

Question: “How could Job say, ‘Though He slay me, I will trust in Him’?”
Answer: In Iyov (Job) 13:15, Job declares, “Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him.”
This faith-filled statement has challenged countless believers through the centuries to strive for a similar trust in YAHUAH in the face of trials.
Job made this statement when he was in a terrible time of pain and suffering. He had lost all of his children, his wealth, and his health. His friends were of no help. His wife offered no support and was in fact telling him to give up (Job 2:9). Job felt as though his life was over. The only thing left was to die. But, as Job says, even if YAHUAH did “slay” him, Job would still trust in Him.
Of note here is the fact that Job realizes that, ultimately, the suffering he endures is allowed by YAHUAH. It is YAHUAH who has the right and the power to “slay” Job. Even in the midst of his pain, Job knows that “YAHUAH brings death and makes alive; / he brings down to the grave and raises up” (1 Samuel 2:6). YAHUAH alone holds the “keys of death” (Revelation 1:18).
The faith of Job is seen in the fact that even if YAHUAH’s plan results in Job’s death, Job will continue to trust in YAHUAH. Nothing can shake the faith of someone so grounded in the goodness and glory of YAH. Job may not understand what is happening to him and why, but he knows that YAHUAH is good, loving, and trustworthy.
In the following verse, Job adds, “Indeed, this will turn out for my deliverance, / for no unrighteous person would dare come before him!” (Job 13:16). The idea seems to be that, if Job dies, he will be with YAHUAH (this refers to Job’s death). At the same time, Job maintains his innocence: he is not a “unrighteous person” and will therefore be admitted to YAHUAH’s presence.
Job realizes his pain was not permanent. With YAHUAH, there is a way of escape. The suffering of this life is temporary and will end for those who trust in YAHUAH. After this life, there is eternal life with YAHUAH in the Kingdom for the believer. In fact, YAHUSHA came to offer eternal life to all who would believe (John 3:16). By YAHUAH’s grace. (Ephesians 2:8–9).
Job appears to also challenge YAHUAH at the risk of his own life. In other words, Job is willing to go before YAHUAH with his case even if he dies in the process. Job’s statement that he is innocent in Job 13:16 becomes more insistent throughout the rest of the book. The final chapter of Job shows the results of Job’s pleading. Job oversteps what was right in saying he was without sin. As a result, Job ends his conversation with YAHUAH differently, stating, “Surely I spoke of things I did not understand, / things too wonderful for me to know” (Job 42:3). He concludes, “I despise myself / and repent in dust and ashes” (Job 42:6).
The apostle Paul echoes Job’s statement of faith in Philippians 1:20, “I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Messiah will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death.” When we suffer and do not understand why, we can trust that YAHUAH has a greater plan in place that we cannot see. Instead of seeking to defend ourselves before YAHUAH, Job’s experience shows us we can instead trust YAHUAH. He has a perfect plan in place, and “by life or by death,” may YAHUSHA HA’MASHIACH be exalted.
The text that we know as the ten commandments is found in Exodus 20:1-17, but they are not called the Ten Commandments there.
The expression Ten Commandments is only used three times in the Scripture. (Exo 34:28) And he was there with YAHUAH forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water. And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments. (Deu 4:13) And he declared unto you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, even ten commandments; and he wrote them upon two tables of stone. (Deu 10:4) And he wrote on the tables, according to the first writing, the ten commandments, which YAHUAH spake unto you in the mount out of the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly: and YAHUAH gave them unto me.
From these texts in Deuteronomy, we can see that the Ten Commandments are the words found in Exodus 20, and not, as some would have it, those found in Exodus 34 itself. They are not the words referring to sacrifices, annual feasts, and the practice of boiling a kid in its mother’s milk. They are the words declared publicly “out of the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly,” that is, the commandments of Exodus 20.
What Has Been the Role of the Ten Commandments in History?
It is amazing that the ten commandments have received so much attention in recent years, and yet the very people who have raised the issue do not take what the commandments say seriously. The ten commandments, as recorded in Exodus 20, maintain the absolute oneness of YAHUAH. Most of those who wish to have the commandments displayed on public buildings by contrast believe in the Trinity, a doctrine completely foreign to the ten commandments and its associated traditions.
Furthermore, about a third of the text of the ten commandments relates to the seventh-day Sabbath. Most of those who support the greater visibility of the commandments are Sunday observers. Finally, one of the ten commandments is Thou shalt not kill. Both the death penalty and pre-emptive war of aggression seem to be popular issues among some of the same people who glibly favor the Decalogue.
It is only reasonable, however, that this inconsistency should be so. The ten commandments are pervasively used by nearly all Christian “churches,” to say nothing of Yahudiym (Jews). Even Islam recognizes them to have been given to Moses as the criterion of right and wrong. Obviously, most of these religious establishments, despite their lip service to the ten commandments, do not observe them. In fact, all of the faith traditions of the world maintain at least half of the commandments.
Yet no faith tradition maintains all ten in a literal way. The ten commandments appear in nearly every Christian catechism ever written, but some of them are explained contrary to the clear and obvious sense of the text. For Martin Luther in the Shorter Catechism the Sabbath commandment means to go to church and abide by what the preacher says!
The very commandment that establishes the authority of YAHUAH is being usurped to bolster the authority of man. Even the Roman Catholic Church gives the ten commandments, in abridged and changed form, a place in its catechism.
The ten commandments are unique in that in all of the classical religious literature of the world it appears that there is no other text that claims to have been revealed directly by YAHUAH to an enormous crowd of people. All other texts come through an individual, often by means of visions, dreams, or individual intuitions. Angels and prophets are prominent, but rarely directly speak to YAHUAH.
Exodus 20 reports that YAHUAH spoke directly and publicly on Mount Sinai soon after Yashar’el (Israel) left Egypt. There are hints and references to such a divine revelation around the world in the oral traditions of the most far-flung people.
Tribes in Africa, North and South America, and other parts of the world have preserved the story of YAHUAH giving a message to humankind on a mountain. Sometimes the details of such stories are strikingly similar to the Scripture.
The story as told among American Indians included the destruction of pursuing enemies by being buried and smothered, the miraculous springs of water, the covenant, the thunder on the mountain, the speaking of the Creator from the mountain, and the giving of a stone memento of the event.
While the text of the ten commandments may not appear in other sacred books, most of them refer directly to most of the commandments. No religion supports killing, stealing, adultery, or dishonoring parents. Their sacred books refer to these principles in terms that are very much like the ten commandments. Each of the commandments is referenced in the Qur’an, including the Sabbath in several passages. Most religious traditions are like Christianity in having the principles of the ten commandments in their sacred books, but fail to maintain some of them. The Qur’an terms Sabbath-breakers monkeys, but that does not prevent Muslims generally from ignoring the Sabbath, just like their fellow believers the Christians.
On the other hand, in ancient times it appears that the principles of the ten commandments were incredibly well-known and followed. The observance of the Sabbath by non-Jewish populations was widespread.
The importance of the ten commandments in ancient Yahudiym (Jewish) tradition is inestimable.
Some people valued them so highly, that they considered nothing else of importance. At a time when books were rare and costly, the temptation to consider that revelation consisted of the ten commandments only was great. The Rabbis eventually eradicated the idea from Judaism, but at a heavy cost. Only after prohibiting the recitation of the ten commandments as part of the daily prayers were they able to educate the Jewish populace to see the other duties of the Torah as of equal value. The history is mentioned in some detail in Jewish Liturgy and its Development, A. Z. Idelsohn, pages 91, 92.
“In the Temple Service the Ten Commandments were read before the Shema. This custom, however, was not adopted outside the Temple, on account of the Sectaries who said that only these commandments were divinely revealed (b.Ber.12a). In the Nash-Papyrus of about the first century C.E. found in Egypt, the Ten Commandments are given before the Shema.
“The Ten Commandments continued to be recited in the Palestinian synagogue in Egypt until the thirteenth century.
“A clearer reason is given in Jer. Ber. 1, 3c, – the reason being that ‘they (the Minim) shall not say that only these (the Ten Commandments) were given to Moses on Mount Sinai.’ Kohler adds: ‘Only because the early Judeo-Christians claimed divine revelation exclusively for the Ten Commandments, discarding the other Mosaic laws as temporary enactments, was the recital of the Decalogue in the daily morning liturgy afterwards abolished.'”
There is a great deal stated and implied here, but perhaps the most relevant to this article is the fact that the ten commandments were once far more central to both Judaism and Christianity than they are today. The only conclusion to be drawn is a general and pervasive apostasy. A few people still maintain that early “Judeo-Christian” belief, that the Ten Commandments form the central and determining divine revelation for all time and everywhere.
Those who are coming out of Babylon and forming home Congregations /Assemblies (ekklesia) to worship in purity would do well to consider that the ten commandments should be recited in every meeting for worship.
What Does the Scripture Say About the Ten Commandments?
We have already seen three texts defining the ten commandments as those words spoken publicly “out of the midst of the fire” by YAHUAH before millions of people, and written with YAHUAH’s own finger. That is reaffirmed by more texts as well.
(Exo 24:12) And YAHUAH said unto Moses, Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give thee tables of stone, and a law, and commandments which I have written; that thou mayest teach them. (Exo 31:18) And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of ELOHIYM. (Exo 32:15) And Moses turned, and went down from the mount, and the two tables of the testimony were in his hand: the tables were written on both their sides; on the one side and on the other were they written.
It is of interest that the commandments were written on all sides of the stones. We do not know how large or in what shape the stones were, but if they compared to the ancient clay tablets found in a number of places in the Middle East and to ancient covenant stones found among the Hittites, they were more elongated than cubic, and had six sides upon which writing appeared. Covenants were sometimes anciently put in two identical texts on each of two stones, as copies of the treaty for both parties. But in this case it was not so according to both Jewish and Christian tradition, which divides the commandments between the two stones.
What is important is the fact that YAHUAH Himself wrote the message on the tables of stone and gave them to Moses to keep as the words of the covenant for the people. (Exo 32:16) And the tables were the work of YAHUAH, and the writing was the writing of YAHUAH, graven upon the tables.
Everyone knows the fate of the first set of commandments and how it was necessary to make a new set. The theory that the second set of tables contained a different set of commandments cannot be held, as it conflicts with the story in the Scripture. (Exo 32:19) And it came to pass, as soon as he came nigh unto the camp, that he saw the calf, and the dancing: and Moses’ anger waxed hot, and he cast the tables out of his hands, and brake them beneath the mount. (Exo 34:1) And YAHUAH said unto Moses, Hew thee two tables of stone like unto the first: and I will write upon these tables the words that were in the first tables, which thou brakest. (Exo 34:4) And he hewed two tables of stone like unto the first; and Moses rose up early in the morning, and went up unto mount Sinai, as YAHUAH had commanded him, and took in his hand the two tables of stone. (Exo 34:28)
(Exo 34:29) And it came to pass, when Moses came down from mount Sinai with the two tables of testimony in Moses’ hand, when he came down from the mount, that Moses wist not that the skin of his face shone while he talked with him.
The ten commandments as proclaimed and written by YAHUAH are affirmed in Moses’ summary sermon to the Yashar’e’liym (Israelites) before their entrance into the Promised Land. (Deu 5:22) These words YAHUAH spake unto all your assembly in the mount out of the midst of the fire, of the cloud, and of the thick darkness, with a great voice: and he added no more. And he wrote them in two tables of stone, and delivered them unto me.
The story of the breaking and renewal of the stones is repeated in Deuteronomy nine and ten. The placing of the commandments in the ark is described there in detail. (Deu 10:1) At that time YAHUAH said unto me, Hew thee two tables of stone like unto the first, and come up unto me into the mount, and make thee an ark of wood. (Deu 10:2) And I will write on the tables the words that were in the first tables which thou brakest, and thou shalt put them in the ark. (Deu 10:3) And I made an ark of shittim wood, and hewed two tables of stone like unto the first, and went up into the mount, having the two tables in mine hand. (Deu 10:4) And he wrote on the tables, according to the first writing, the ten commandments, which YAHUAH spake unto you in the mount out of the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly: and YAHUAH gave them unto me. (Deu 10:5) And I turned myself and came down from the mount, and put the tables in the ark which I had made; and there they be, as YAHUAH commanded me.
The table of the commandments remained in the ark for many generations. (1Ki 8:9) There was nothing in the ark save the two tables of stone, which Moses put there at Horeb, when YAHUAH made a covenant with the children of Yashar’el (Israel), when they came out of the land of Egypt. (Also 2 Chronicles 5:10).
The New Testament does not use the expression “ten commandments.” But it mentions the law of YAHUAH, the tables of stone, the covenant, and each of the commandments individually many times. The first occurrence of the expression “tables of stone” occurs in (2Co 3:3) Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Messiah ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living Eloah; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.
This is a reference to the New Covenant prophesied by Jeremiah. (Jer 31:31) Behold, the days come, saith YAHUAH, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Yashar’el (Israel), and with the house of Yahudah (Judah): (Jer 31:32) Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith YAHUAH: (Jer 31:33) But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Yashar’el (Israel); After those days, saith YAHUAH, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their ELOHIYM, and they shall be my people. (Jer 31:34) And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know YAHUAH: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith YAHUAH: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
Much is made of the New Covenant by those who wish to say that the ten commandments, by which they mean the seventh-day Sabbath, is no longer binding.
But what does the text say?
It says that YAHUAH will put His law in their inward parts, and write it on their hearts. It does not say that YAHUAH will give a new law, one different from the one He gave on Sinai. The one He gave on Sinai failed only because the people did not keep it, not because there was something wrong with the commandments. The same Eloah who wrote with His own finger on the tables of stone promises to write the same law with His own finger on our hearts. The ten commandments written on the heart instead of on tables of stone is the New Covenant.
The New Testament does not say a great deal about the tables of stone as a whole. But what it does say is clear and important. The first and most important thing is that the ten commandments, under the New Covenant are to be written on the heart. There is only one more mention of the tables of stone, and that is (Heb 9:4) Which had the golden censer, and the ark of the covenant overlaid round about with gold, wherein was the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron’s rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant.
The tables of the law were placed in the ark in the tabernacle. There they stayed as a reminder of the covenant between YAHUAH and Yashar’el (Israel). But that was not the original law. Many think that the ten commandments were given at Sinai to the Jews alone. First of all, that cannot be true, because the Jews are only one tribe of the twelve who stood at Mount Sinai. Secondly, there was a great mixed multitude of people also there. They had come from the most cosmopolitan center of the world in that day, from Egypt. They represented all of the people on earth, every tribe and language and people. But even so, the tables in stone at Sinai where not the original. The original expression of the ten commandments is in heaven itself, where it remains eternally the law of YAHUAH. And that is why the New Testament gives us a glimpse of the ten commandments in a glimpse of heaven. (Rev 11:19) And the temple of YAHUAH was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.
The ten commandments are hidden in the ark of the testimony in heaven itself. As we allow the law of YAHUAH to be written on our hearts, we too become the temple of YAHUAH, a reflection of the glory of heaven. The ten commandments are unchangeable in heaven. YAHUAH can and will make them unchangeable in the temple of the human heart.
Like A flood, The RUACH of YAHUAH Will Lift Up A Standard Against The Enemy
By Kenneth Kang
So shall they fear את eth-the name of YAHUAH from the west, and את eth-his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the RUACH YAHUAH shall lift up a standard against him.
YESHA’YAHU (ISAIAH) 59:19 את CEPHER
If you check the Hebrew dictionary for this word ‘flood’ in Isaiah 59:19, you’ll realize that we are not talking about the enemy’s flood that try to destroy us, but instead it’s YAHUAH’s flood that sweeps away the enemy and his works.
The word ‘flood’ in this verse is ‘nahar’ in Hebrew. It means ‘great waters, YAHUAH’s running waters.’ It can also mean ‘prosperity, sparkle, cheerful.’ So when the enemy tries to come in, attack us, or swarm us, like a ‘nahar’, like a flood, YAHUAH will lift up a standard against him, putting to flight and chase away the enemy.
Who is this ‘enemy’? He is our ‘adversary’, satan and his works of darkness. Let us cross refer to Psalm 90:5 and Isaiah 28:2 about YAHUAH’s flood that sweeps away the enemy and his works. Psalm 90:5 says, ‘You (YAHUAH) carry them (enemy) away like a flood.’ Isaiah 28:2 says, ‘Behold, YAHUAH has a mighty and strong one, like a tempest of hail and a destroying storm, like a flood of mighty waters overflowing, Who will bring them down to the earth with His hand.’ Wow! It means when the enemy tries to swarm and overpower us, the RUACH (Spirit) of YAHUAH shall raise a standard against it, like a great flood of mighty waters.
The power of the RUACH HA’QODESH (Set-Apart Spirit) has come on the Assembly since the day Acts 1:8 came to pass, when ‘we shall receive power when the RUACH HA’QODESH (Set-Apart Spirit) has come upon us.’ And the RUACH (Spirit) of YAHUAH will lift up a standard against the enemy and its works. The word ‘standard’ here means ‘banner’. Our ELOHIYM is YAHUAH-Nissi, YAHUAH our banner, our victory (Exodus 17:15). Praise YAHUAH! When we raise a ‘banner’, it is a sign of victory and triumph.
So, friends, if the ‘adversary’ tries to attack you, or swarm you, be it in your personal life, in your Assembly or Congregation, or in your land, know this: YAHUAH will lift up a ‘banner’ against it. The RUACH (Spirit) of YAHUAH, the RUACH HA’QODESH (Set-Apart Spirit) has already been given to the Assembly.
Begin to commune in the RUACH HA’QODESH (Set -Apart Spirit) (2 Corinthians 13:14), pray in the ruach (spirit), take authority in the spiritual realm, and we will triumph, putting to flight, chasing away the enemy by the power of the RUACH HA’QOESSH (Set-Apart Spirit), the RUACH (Spirit) of the living ELOHIYM! In fact, YAHUAH has been raising up many intercessors at the spiritual forefront in this end-time.
YAHUAH is raising us up for such a time as this, friends. And YAHUAH promises that ‘no weapon formed against us shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against us in judgment, YAHUAH shall condemn. This is our heritage as the servants YAHUAH, and our righteousness is from YAHUAH (Isaiah 54:17). Amen.
THE DUMBEST GENERATION THE SAD TRUTH THEY DON’T WANT YOU TO KNOW Speaker Eric Ludy
In the four minutes it probably takes to read this review, you will have logged exactly half the time the average 15- to 24-year-old now spends reading each day. That is, if you even bother to finish. If you are perusing this on the Internet, the big block of text below probably seems daunting, maybe even boring. Who has the time? Besides, one of your Facebook friends might have just posted a status update!
Such is the kind of recklessly distracted impatience that makes Mark Bauerlein fear for his country. “As of 2008,” the 49-year-old professor of English at Emory University writes in “The Dumbest Generation,” “the intellectual future of the United States looks dim.”
The way Bauerlein sees it, something new and disastrous has happened to America’s youth with the arrival of the instant gratification go-go-go digital age. The result is, essentially, a collective loss of context and history, a neglect of “enduring ideas and conflicts.” Survey after painstakingly recounted survey reveals what most of us already suspect: that America’s youth know virtually nothing about history and politics. And no wonder. They have developed a “brazen disregard of books and reading.”
Things were not supposed to be this way. After all, “never have the opportunities for education, learning, political action, and cultural activity been greater,” writes Bauerlein, a former director of Research and Analysis at the National Endowment for the Arts. But somehow, he contends, the much-ballyhooed advances of this brave new world have not only failed to materialize — they’ve actually made us dumber.
The problem is that instead of using the Web to learn about the wide world, young people instead mostly use it to gossip about each other and follow pop culture, relentlessly keeping up with the ever-shifting lingua franca of being cool in school. The two most popular websites by far among students are Facebook and MySpace. “Social life is a powerful temptation,” Bauerlein explains, “and most teenagers feel the pain of missing out.”
This ceaseless pipeline of peer-to-peer activity is worrisome, he argues, not only because it crowds out the more serious stuff but also because it strengthens what he calls the “pull of immaturity.” Instead of connecting them with parents, teachers and other adult figures, “[t]he web . . . encourages more horizontal modeling, more raillery and mimicry of people the same age.” When Bauerlein tells an audience of college students, “You are six times more likely to know who the latest American Idol is than you are to know who the speaker of the U.S. House is,” a voice in the crowd tells him: ” ‘American Idol’ IS more important.”
Bauerlein also frets about the nature of the Internet itself, where people “seek out what they already hope to find, and they want it fast and free, with a minimum of effort.” In entering a world where nobody ever has to stick with anything that bores or challenges them, “going online habituates them to juvenile mental habits.”
And all this feeds on itself. Increasingly disconnected from the “adult” world of tradition, culture, history, context and the ability to sit down for more than five minutes with a book, today’s digital generation is becoming insulated in its own stultifying cocoon of bad spelling, civic illiteracy and endless postings that hopelessly confuse triviality with transcendence. Two-thirds of U.S. undergraduates now score above average on the Narcissistic Personality Inventory, up 30% since 1982, he reports.
At fault is not just technology but also a newly indulgent attitude among parents, educators and other mentors, who, Bauerlein argues, lack the courage to risk “being labeled a curmudgeon and a reactionary.” illuminati media brainwash is in full swing pop culture satanic illuminati agenda exposed hollywood satanic agenda antichrist pop culture brainwash the general public is shaped and directed by the false satanic reality of hollywood we are watching the dumbing down of america in schools and campuses across the united states of america a generation completely prepared for antichrist the sad truth they dont want you to know public school exposed indoctrination camps
