What Are Consequences?

The majority of the population of this world feels there is no consequences from breaking our Creators Instructions. People feel they can go on living their lives anyway they like that is totally against Scripture and break all of YAHUAH’s Commands without being any repercussions. 

I hate to break the news to you they will be consequences breaking the Sabbath and YAHUAH’s Set-Apart Days and Appointments we call the Feasts Days.

On the other hand they will be good and positive consequences if we do obey ABBA YAHUAH’s Instructions.

What are consequences?

Consequences are the events that

follow immediately after the target behavior and

are contingent on the behavior (occur if only if the behavior occurs)

There are 2 major kinds of consequences

Reinforcers: which increase behavior they follow

Punishers: which decrease behavior they follow

The label, reinforcer or punisher, is given after examining the behavior for changes.

It is not given on the basis of how most react to the event.

It is given on the basis of how the behavior of the particular subject reacts to the event.

You can make an educated guess as to whether a particular event is likely to function as a reinforcer (e.g., candy) or as a punisher (e.g., a spanking).

However, the proof is in the behavior.

What is a Reinforcer?

A reinforcer is any consequence that causes the preceding behavior to increase. The increase may be in intensity, frequency, magnitude or some other quality.

There are two subtypes:

Positive

Negative

1. Positive Reinforcer

Events that increase behavior (and are contingent on the behavior) may be presented to the subject (e.g., candy). This is what most people think of as a reinforcer. Its proper name is positive reinforcer.

Positive comes from medical terminology which means that something is added or present (e.g., when a test for cancer comes back positive, it means cancer is present).

2. Another type of reinforcer

There is another type of reinforcer.

Some behavior increases because it allows the subject to avoid something.

For example, cleaning the room allows a child to escape a parent’s nagging. In this case, an event is subtracted or absent. This type of reinforcer is called a negative reinforcer (e.g., when a test for cancer comes back negative, it means there is no cancer). When the behavior is emitted, the unpleasant or aversive stimulus stops. The behavior allows the person to escape an aversive situation and thus the behavior is repeated or increased the next time around.

Common Confusions

It is very common to confuse the term negative reinforcer with the term punishment. But remember that the key difference is, a negative reinforcer increases behavior and a punisher decreases behavior.

The more important part of the term “negative reinforcer” is the “reinforcer” part. A common mistake is to focus on the “negative” and think that means unpleasant. 

Actually the person is quite happy to avoid or escape the situation and will work hard (increase behavior) to do so.

It may help to think of the “positive” and “negative” as referring to the two sides of a coin. You will work to get the reinforcement and that may be in order to get the coin (positive reinforcer) or to avoid being without coins (negative reinforcer).

Very often in real life examples, both types of reinforcers function together.

However, in many instances one or the other has a dominant role. For example, in running from a fire, avoiding being burned likely has greater immediate impact than whatever positive event waits at the end of the run. 

Immediacy is your guide to what to place greater weight upon. Which event (consequence) occurs more immediately?

On exam questions, read questions carefully to see if any particular consequences are identified. But remember, first look to see what the behavior is doing (increasing– reinforcement; decreasing–punishment)

What Are the 3 Temptations of the World?

“We know that we are of YAHUAH, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one” 1 John 5:19

The world was created good. The world and all that is in it was created for our enjoyment and pleasure and points us to a good ELOHIYM who loves us and desires our good pleasure. However, something is wrong.

Often we hear that the world is evil and that we should avoid it and remain separate from it. As followers of YAHUSHA, we can be confused by the notion that the world YAHUAH created and came to redeem is evil. 

Are we not to be in the world? 

What does Scripture mean regarding “not loving the world or the things in the world”?

What does “friendship with the world is enmity with YAHUAH” look like? 

How do we make sense of “not being in the world” or “not being friends with the world” in light of YAHUAH placing us here in this world at this specific time? 

Something must be wrong in the world.

How Does John Define “Loving the World”?

The apostle John, who spoke of not loving the world, defines his terms in 1 John 2:15 when he said, “Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of YAHUAH abides forever.”

Several observations can be made from 1 John 2:15-17. The first observation: John defines what he means by the world in verse 16. John describes three specific categories of sin that must be avoided in the world. This sin is what John is referring to as the world.

The first sin is the lust of the flesh, the second is the lust of the eyes, and the third is the pride of life. These three sins are similar to the temptations Adam and Eve faced in the Garden of Eden—succumbing to which is what destroyed their relationship with YAHUAH, as well as destroyed all that was to be right and good in the world.

First, they were tempted by their physical needs and ate the fruit, choosing it above their relationship with YAHUAH. This was the result of giving in to lust of the flesh.

Second, they were tempted by desiring that which would harm them because it looked pleasurable. This was the lust of the eye.

Third, they were tempted to be their own god. When the serpent said they would be like ELOHIYM if they ate the fruit, this was the pride of life (See Genesis 3:1).

YAHUSHA was tempted three times

These three sins, “the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life,” are depicted in YHUSHA’ own temptation in the wilderness in Matthew 4:1, as well. 

Here, YAHUSHA was tempted to sin against YAHUAH by pursuing worldly things rather than YAHUAH’s. He was tempted by His physical needs, the lust of the flesh, when He was tempted to turn the stones into bread.

Next, YAHUSHA was tempted to do something spectacular by throwing Himself off the temple and having His angels rescue Him, the lust of the eyes.

Finally, YAHUSHA was tempted to receive all the kingdoms of the world if He worshiped Satan; this is idol worship and the pride of life (See Matthew 4:1).

These three temptations that YAHUSHA resisted in the wilderness mirror Adam and Eve’s temptations and sin in Garden and reflects what John defines as loving the world, the sins of “the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life.”

The next observation we can make from John in verse 17: “the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of YAHUAH abides forever” is that he was warning us against sins that lead to death and about pleasures in sin that are not eternal. 

He was saying these pleasures will not last and instead lead to death. John was contrasting clearly the differences between the temporary sins and pleasures in this life and the eternal pleasures to come. 

John’s concern was for the believer to have an eternal perspective and not to place stock in temporary pleasures, which all are fleeting. The pleasures of this temporary world are not comparable with the pleasures and blessings to come in eternity with YAHUAH. YAHUAH has our best in mind.

Loving the World More than YAHUAH is Idolatry

The final observation we can make from John is from the context of his whole letter.

From the context, we find John concludes his letter with an appeal to his readers to “keep yourselves from idols” (1 John 5:21).

John was saying that loving the world and the things in the world above YAHUAH is idolatry. Simply put, John was speaking against idol worship. John goes on to say in 1 John 5:18:

“We know that whoever is born of YAHUAH does not sin; but he who has been born of YAHUAH keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him. We know we are of YAHUAH, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one. We know the Son of YAHUAH has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son YAHUSHA HA’MASHIACH. This is the true ELOHIYM and eternal life. Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.”

John is not the only Scripture author who defined terms such as this. James also defined loving the world or friendship with the world as idol worship. In James 4:4, James speaks of pride and unfaithfulness to YAHUAH as unfaithfulness and adultery, “Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know friendship with the world is enmity with YAHUAH? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of YAHUAH. Or do you think the Scripture says in vain, ‘The Spirit who dwells in us yearns jealously?'” James emphasizes that our ELOHIYM is a jealous ELOHIYM and desires our worship and well-being.

This world was created good. The world and all that is in it was created for our enjoyment and pleasure. However, sin has marred the world’s goodness, and its charms have strived for our affections under the influence or sway of Satan. YAHUAH desires us. YAHUAH yearns for us jealously and desires to give us so much more than what the world can offer. As far as we see beauty and goodness through sin’s shadows in this world, that goodness is pointing us to Someone better, the Author of life itself, YAHUAH. YAHUAH knows the pleasures and sin in this world can lead us away from Him and can harm us. YAHUAH also knows this world is passing away, and He knows He is going to make all things new. YAHUAH desires our best and wants our good pleasure in Him, in this lifetime and in the next.

May we not be led astray by “the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life.” Would we come to the Author of life and receive life eternal from Him?

EVIL HOLIDAYS

Christian Holidays are ancient pagan feasts that were ushered in by the Roman Catholic Church during the rule of emperor Constantine. Constantine was a pagan sun-worshipper who had a “Christian experience” that wanted to unite his empire, both Christian and pagan together. He achieved this by re-writing history and re-naming pagan feasts with Christian names. 

SUNDAY SERVICES

Early believers kept Saturday as the Sabbath until March 7, 321 CE when Pope Constantine passed a law requiring believers to worship on Sunday, the day the pagans worshipped the sun-god. Believers still kept Saturday as the Sabbath until another law was passed eleven years later. This law signed into decree by Pope Constantine forbid believers to worship on the Sabbath (Saturday) and it was punishable by death by the Catholic Church. Many believers were burned to death by the Catholic Church for keeping the Sabbath. 

EASTER SUNDAY

Easter or Ishtar, also known by her biblical name Semiramis and later called the “Queen of heaven” was the widow of Nimrod and mother of Tammuz. Easter is the bare breasted pagan fertility goddess of the east. Legend has it that she came out of heaven in a giant egg, landing in the Euphrates river at sunrise on the first Sunday after the vernal equinox, busted out, and turned a bird into an egg laying rabbit.

To honor this event, pagan sun-worshippers would go out early in the morning and face to the east to watch their sun-god arise over the horizon before having a mass (sacrifice) in which the priest of Easter would sacrifice three month old human infants and take the eggs of Easter and die them in the blood of the sacrificed infants. The blood-red colored Easter eggs would later hatch on December 25th, the same day her son Tammuz the reincarnate sun-god would be born…how convenient!

Easter married her son Tammuz who was by legend the reincarnate sun-god. Tammuz went pig hunting and was gored to death by a wild boar and that is why pagans eat ham on Easter. Because Tammuz was killed when he was forty years old, pagans fast one day for each of the years that he lived leading into Easter. This practice is known as Weeping for Tammuz by pagans but called Lent by Catholics. 

VALENTINE’S DAY

Pagans in Rome celebrated the evening of February 14th and February 15th and as an idolatrous festival in honor of Lupercus “the hunter of wolves”. It was not until the reign of Pope Gelasius that the holiday became a “Christian” custom. “As far back as 496, Pope Gelasius changed Lupercalia on February 15th to St. Valentine’s Day on February 14th.” The original Saint Valentine was Nimrod, on this day in February, Semiramis, the mother of Tammuz, was said to have been purified and to have appeared for the first time in public with her son as the original “mother and child.” 

MOTHER’S & FATHER’S DAY

Mother’s Day dates back to ancient cultures in Greece and Rome. In both cultures, mother goddesses (Queen of Heaven). were worshipped during the springtime with religious festivals. The ancient Greeks paid tribute to the powerful goddess Rhea, the wife of Cronus, known as the Mother of the Gods (Queen of Heaven). Similarly, evidence of a three-day Roman festival in Mid-March called Hilaria, to honor the Roman goddess Magna Mater, or Great Mother, dates back to 250 BCE.

As Christianity spread throughout Europe, the celebration of the “Mother Church” replaced the pagan tradition of honoring mythological goddesses. The fourth Sunday in Lent (Weeping for Tammuz), a 40-day fasting period before Easter, became known as Mothering Sunday. To show appreciation for their mothers, they often brought gifts or a “mothering cake” (Jeremiah 7:18) and over time, it began to coincide with the celebration of the Mother Church. Mother’s Day always falls on the second Sun-day of May, and like so many other holidays rooted in pagan sun-worship including Father’s Day which always falls on the third Sun-day of June, usually fall on the day named in honor of their most powerful god — The Sun! 

HALLOWEEN

All Saints’ Day was followed by All-Souls’ Day, November 2, unless that was a Sunday then it was November 3, this was another Catholic adaptation of pagan festivals for the dead. Prayers for the dead are an integral part of the traditional All Saint’s Day services, which are scheduled in Catholic churches on November 1, and on the next Sunday. Halloween gets its name from the Catholic holiday, it is a Hallowed evening, because it precedes All Hallows’ Day, thus: Hallow’en. Halloween is a pagan holiday to honor the dead and evil spirits. We are warned not to take part in customs and traditions like this in the Scripture.

Take heed to yourself that you be not snared by following them, after that they be destroyed from before you; and that you inquire not after their elohiym, saying, How did these nations serve את eth-their elohiym? even so will I do likewise. 

You shall not do so unto YAHUAH ELOHAYKA: for every abomination to YAHUAH, which he hates, have they done unto their elohiym; for even את eth-their sons and את eth-their daughters they have burnt in the fire to their elohiym.

Halloween is a perfect example of what this passage is referring about. Pagans served their gods by honoring the evil spirits on Halloween. They did this by dressing up like the evil spirits and giving offerings to the evil spirits. This is why candy is given out on Halloween, as offerings for the evil spirits. The phrase trick or treat was attributed to this practice because pagans believed the evil spirits would do something bad (trick) to them if they did not leave an offering (treat) for them. I would rather honor the Most High. 

THANKSGIVING

The pagans in Rome celebrated their thanksgiving in early October. The holiday was dedicated to the goddess of the harvest, Ceres, and the holiday was called Cerelia. The Catholic church took over the pagan holiday and it became well established in England, where some of the pagan customs and rituals for this day were observed long after the Roman Empire had disappeared. In England the “Harvest Home” has been observed continuously for centuries.

In our own hemisphere, among the Aztecs of Mexico, the harvest took on a grimmer aspect. Each year a young girl, a representation of Xilonen, The goddess of the new corn, was beheaded. The Pawnees also sacrificed a girl. In a more temperate mood, the Cherokees of the American Southeast danced the Green Corn Dance and began the new year at harvest’s end.

No wonder Chief Massasoit and his ninety braves felt right at home with the Pilgrim Fathers on that day in 1621!! Obviously, the idea for this “first Thanksgiving” did not just “pop” into the mind of Governor Bradford as most people believe! On the contrary Thanksgiving, in the guise of the pagan harvest festivals, can be traced right back to ancient Babylon and the worship of Semiramis! 

CHRISTMAS

Christmas was celebrated by pagan sun-worshippers for thousands of years before the Messiah was even born. It all started during the building of the tower of Babel. Nimrod supervised the operation and was called the sun-god and worshipped as such. To end this worship, Nimrod’s uncle Shem, Noah’s eldest son, killed Nimrod and cut his body into small pieces then scattered his body parts across the land.

Ishtar or Easter, also known by her biblical name Semiramis was the widow of Nimrod. She was called the “Queen of heaven” and claimed to have been impregnated by Nimrod through the rays of the sun and later had a son by the name of Tammuz who had a miraculous birth on December 25th. Pagans believed that Nimrod was reincarnated as Tammuz and so Easter married her son Tammuz. Pagan sun-worshippers celebrated the birthday of the reincarnate sun-god on December 25th. Scripture is very clear that we are not to celebrate this particular holiday.

The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead the dough, to make cakes to the Queen of Heaven, and to pour out drink offerings to other deities, that they may provoke Me to anger. (HIM Jeremiah 7:18)

The passage above is obviously referring to making Christmas cookies and leaving those cookies and a glass of milk for Nimrod’s widow Easter who was called the queen of heaven. The only difference is now those offerings are left for Santa (Satan) himself. Let’s move on and read another passage from Scripture.

Thus says YAHUAH, “Do not learn the way of the gentiles, and do not be dismayed at the signs of the heaven; for the gentiles are dismayed at them. For the customs of the peoples are vanity; for one cuts a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman with the axe. They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it not move. (Jeremiah 10:2-4)

This passage is obviously referring to cutting down the Christmas tree, putting it on some sort of tree stand, and decorating it. Once you learn why it had become customary to use an erect evergreen tree that has a pointed end decorate it with big red balls you will realize the extent of the perversion in this holiday. The erect tree symbolizes Nimrod’s erect masculinity. The tree was evergreen because evergreen trees are full of life year round, like Nimrod’s penis. The tree was pointed at the end just like Nimrod’s pecker. The big red balls that dangle off the tree, well you get the picture. This holiday is perversion at its best.

Every sun-god was born on December 25th. Amun-Ra, Horus, Mithra, Tammuz, and Zeus were born on December 25th. If there was one day that the Messiah was not born, it was December 25th. In fact the Scripture is quite clear that Messiah was born late September or early October on the first day of the Feast of Tabernacles. 

NEW YEARS

In ancient Roman religion and mythology, Janus is the god of beginnings and transitions. He is usually a two-faced god since he looks to the future and the past. His followers honored Janus by making New Year’s Resolutions. The month of January is named after this pagan god.

April Fools’ Day

Although April Fools’ Day, also called All Fools’ Day, has been celebrated for several centuries by different cultures, its exact origins remain a mystery.

Some historians speculate that April Fools’ Day dates back to 1582, when France switched from the Julian calendar to the Gregorian calendar, as called for by the Council of Trent in 1563.

People who were slow to get the news or failed to recognize that the start of the new year had moved to January 1 and continued to celebrate it during the last week of March through April 1 became the butt of jokes and hoaxes.

YAHUAH’S MOEDIM – DIVINE APPOINTMENTS 

The four spring festivals are:

● Passover – observed in the first month of the biblical calendar on the 14th day of Abiv.

● Unleavened Bread – observed immediately following Passover on the 15th day of Abiv.

● Feast of First Fruits – observed the day after the weekly Sabbath during the Feast of Unleavened Bread.

● Shavout/Pentecost – observed fifty days from the Feast of First Fruits.

The 3 remaining festivals are the fall feasts. They are:

● Feast of Trumpets – observed on the first day of the seventh month.

● Day of Atonement – observed on the 10th day of the seventh month.

● Feast of Tabernacles – observed on the 15th day of the seventh month.

Faith, Grace and Works

There are many people who seem to place the writings of Paul above the rest of Scripture. Some even claim that what Paul says trumps everything else in Scripture including YAHUAH and YAHUSHA’s words. These people preach and teach that faith alone is all that is required for eternal life, and they use the hard to understand writings of Paul to do this.

There is NO doubt that no one besides YAHUSHA has ever or will ever follow the law perfectly. But does that mean that we can say we don’t have to even try to keep YAHUAH’s commandments?

Something we often hear is, “YAHUSHA kept them all for me, so I don’t have to.” We would encourage such people to take Paul down off of a pedestal and apply the whole Word of YAHUAH to their lives instead of just relying on Paul’s writings for instructions on how we live our lives and walk out our faith.

Some of the most common scriptures used are in Romans 3 so we would like to explain what Paul is actually saying in these verses. First we have to understand who he was writing to. He wasn’t writing it to us in our modern westernized society. He was writing to the believers in Rome sometime around 56 AD. These believers were comprised of Jewish and former gentile believers who were grafted in. We know at this time Paul had not been to Rome to personally start a church there, so it is likely these people heard the gospel somewhere else and brought it back to Rome.

Before we read this letter to the Assemblies in Rome and apply what it says to our lives today, we have to first understand what it meant to its original audience and why Paul would have written it to them. So what was going on with these believers in Rome in 56 AD? 

There were many gentiles that heard about YAHUSHA and that he had performed miracles, healed the sick, and raised people from the dead. They were told his message from someone who knew it, and they believed in him. They liked what they heard and they placed their faith in YAHUAH and what YAHUSHA had done, but because they were not raised learning and reading the Tanakh (Old Testament) they didn’t know the commandments and laws like the Yashar’e’liym (Israelites) did.

The Yashar’e’liym (Israelites), who knew the Tanakh and Torah because they grew up learning it and spent every Sabbath in the synagogues reading it, also heard about YAHUSHA and all the things he had done. They believed in him too, and they recognized Him as the prophet that Moses spoke of in the scriptures, and they knew that He had fulfilled all that was written about Him by the Prophets.

Once former gentiles were grafted into Yashar’el (Israel), the natural born Yashar’e’liym (Israelites) started noticing that the former gentile believers were not following the Torah as they were. The Yashar’e’liym (Israelites) let this go to their heads, and started boasting about how good they keep the Torah and how they were better than the former gentile believers because of this. They were openly stating that they were more righteous than the former gentiles because of their keeping of the Torah. This is the point that Paul is addressing in Romans 3. We are going to go verse by verse starting in verse 21 and break down exactly what Paul is really saying.

21 But now apart from the law (Torah) the righteousness of YAHUAH has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify.

In this verse Paul is simply stating that before YAHUSHA’s sacrifice the only way a person could see YAHUAH’s righteousness is by looking at the law, words that were written down or verbally passed down from generation to generation, but now because of the sacrifice of YAHUSHA we have more than just the words to see his righteousness, because the words were made flesh, which the Law and the Prophets predicted would happen. 

We have YAHUSHA’s living example to look at to see exactly how to live out our righteousness.

22 This righteousness is given through faith in YAHUSHA The Messiah to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, 

In this verse Paul is affirming that this gift is available for anyone, not just for Jews/Yashar’e’liym/Israelites or Gentiles, but for anyone who believes.

23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of YAHUAH,

Here Paul lets them know that none of them are any better than anyone else because they have all sinned.

24 and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by YAHUSHA.

Again, here he confirms that this free gift is available to ALL.

25 YAHUAH presented Messiah as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished—

YAHUSHA was the final and ultimate Passover Lamb, slain to cover the PENALTY of sin for everyone, past, present and future. His sacrifice did not take away sin. Sin is still here; it has not been taken away, but for those who believe in him, the PENALTY for that sin is now taken away.

26 he did it to demonstrate his righteousness at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in YAHUSHA.

He, YAHUAH, fulfilled his promise to Abraham that all nations would be blessed through him (Gen. 12:3), Paul in verse 25 and this verse is using a Midrash on Psalm 143 to show how YAHUSHA’s death relates to YAHUAH’s righteousness.

27 Where, then, is boasting? It is excluded. Because of what law? The law that requires works? No, because of the law that requires faith.

Here Paul is singling out those who are bragging about how good they keep the law (Torah).

28 For we maintain that a person is justified by faith apart from the works of the law.

Here Paul is still singling out the boastful law keepers and he flat out tells them that it does not matter how good they keep the law, that how good they keep the law is not going to get them into the Kingdom. 

What Paul does not say, is that the law is not a part of it or that the law is no longer needed. This verse DOES NOT SAY “faith apart from the law”. There is a VERY key word there that changes the entire verse away from what most people interpret it to say. WORKS makes this verse fit the context of what is going on with the believers in Rome. 

The Yashar’e’liym (Israelites) were all about how good they were keeping the law, WORKS. Paul is telling them that Faith is more important than bragging about how good they kept the law, NOT that the law is not important.

Let’s take a look at Ephesians 2 for a moment.

For by grace, you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of YAHUAH; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are His workmanship, created in YAHUSHA for good works, which YAHUAH prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them. Ephesians 2:8-10

In these verses, Paul shows us how Grace, Faith, and WORKS are all tied together. Verse 10 is my favorite though. Paul very clearly says that we were created for good WORKS that YAHUAH has already prepared for us so that we can walk in them. What are the good works we are supposed to walk in that YAHUAH already created for us? 

His commandments, statues and ordinances, all found in the Tanakh or Old Testament.

Ok, back to Romans 3 where we left off.

29 Or is YAHUAH the YAHUAH of Jews only? Is he not the YAHUAH of Gentiles too? Yes, of Gentiles too,

This verse is self-explanatory.

30 since there is only one YAHUAH, who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through that same faith.

Again Paul is showing how YAHUAH see’s everyone who believes as equal.

31 Do we, then, nullify the law by this faith? Not at all! Rather, we uphold the law.

This is our favorite verse of all of these, because it’s where Paul anticipates that some will misunderstand what he is saying and will falsely believe that he is saying that Faith is all you need and that the law is nullified. Let’s replace two words here, nullify and uphold, with their concordance definitions and rewrite the verse using these definitions to get a good understanding of what it is saying.

31 Do we, then, “render idle, inactive, or inoperative, or put an end to or do away with, or abolish” the law by this faith? Not at all! Rather, we establish, make firm and uphold the authority and force of the law.

Paul is not by any means diminishing the role of the law and as you can see from the verses in Ephesians he even shows how Grace, Faith and Works, all work together. All Paul is saying is that we are all the same in the sight of YAHUAH and bragging or boasting about how good we keep the law is not going to get anyone into the Kingdom.

NOWHERE DOES PAUL EVER TEACH A FAITH ALONE DOCTRINE OR THAT THE LAW HAS BEEN DONE AWAY WITH.

Now we’re going to break down Matthew 7 the same way to plainly illustrate how YAHUSHA feels about us obeying his father’s commandments.

21 ″Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Master, Master,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter.

This is pretty simple to us; YAHUSHA says that only the people who DO THE WILL OF MY FATHER will enter. He is not saying that following the law is what gets you there, but he defiantly is NOT saying that all you have to do is believe in him and have faith. THE WILL OF HIS FATHER is to obey his commandments.

22 Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Master, Master, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’

YAHUSHA is not saying that people were bragging about keeping the law and how much of a good person they were. These people genuinely thought they were going to get into the Kingdom. They are SHOCKED when He turns them away, and they even say in their defense, “but Master, we believed in you and did miracles in your name”. They were not trying to get in based on their deeds. They are saying that they believed in Him 100% and had faith to even work miracles in his name…

23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.’

But their having faith and believing in Him was not enough, so He tells them to leave, you who practice LAWLESSNESS. Lawlessness is not abiding by the laws that YAHUAH laid out in the Torah that show us how to live righteously, the same laws that YAHUSHA showed us how to live out by his example.

Finally, we’re going to list scriptures from the front of the book to the back and from various writers, including Paul, that all line up with each other and show that on top of having faith, there is also action required on our part. That action is keeping His commandments that HAVE NOT been done away with or Nailed to the Stake as many people believe.

3 By this we know that we have come to know Him, if we keep His commandments. 4 The one who says, “I have come to know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him;5 but whoever keeps His word, in him the love of YAHUAH has truly been perfected. By this, we know that we are in Him: 6 the one who says he abides in Him ought himself to walk in the same manner as He walked. 1 John 2:3-6

Anyone who says they know him but does not keep His commandments is a LIAR and the truth is not in them.

So you shall keep His statutes and His commandments which I am giving you today, that it may go well with you and with your children after you, and that you may live long on the land which the ELOHIYM your YAHUAH is giving you for all time.” Deuteronomy 4:40

Nothing here about them coming to an end, it actually says do them so that it will go well for you and your children for ALL TIME.

Oh, that they had such a heart in them, that they would fear Me and keep all My commandments always, that it may be well with them and with their sons forever! Deuteronomy 5:29

Keep them ALWAYS so that it will be well with us FOREVER.

1 ″Now this is the commandment, the statutes and the judgments which the ELOHIYM your YAHUAH has commanded me to teach you, that you might do them in the land where you are going over to possess it, 2 so that you and your son and your grandson might fear the ELOHIYM your YHAUHA, to keep all His statutes and His commandments which I command you, all the days of your life, and that your days may be prolonged. Deuteronomy 6:1-2

Keep them ALL the days of our lives.

Only be very careful to observe the commandment and the law which Moses the servant of YAHUAH commanded you, to love the ELOHIYM your YAHUAH and walk in all His ways and keep His commandments and hold fast to Him and serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul.” Joshua 22:5

It doesn’t say ‘til YAHUSHA comes then we don’t have to anymore because he will do it for us.

5 For He established a testimony in Jacob And appointed a law in Yasharel (Israel), Which He commanded our fathers That they should teach them to their children, 6 That the generation to come might know, even the children yet to be born, That they may arise and tell them to their children, 7 That they should put their confidence in YAHUAH And not forget the works of YAHUAH, But keep His commandments, 8 And not be like their fathers, A stubborn and rebellious generation, A generation that did not prepare its heart And whose spirit was not faithful to YAHUAH. Psalms 78:5-8

Keep his commandments, not like a stubborn and rebellious generation.

Depart from me, evildoers, That I may observe the commandments of my YAHUAH. Psalms 119:115

If this sounds familiar, it’s because this is what YAHUSHA was referring to in His quote in Matthew 7:23.

He taught me also and said unto me, Let your heart retain my words: keep my commandments, and live. Proverbs 4:4

My son, keep my words and lay up my commandments with thee. Proverbs 7:1

Proverbs 7:2 Keep my commandments, and live, and my law as the apple of your eye. Proverbs 7:2

The following three verses allude to keeping His commandments and LIVING.

The conclusion, when all has been heard, is: fear YAHUAH and keep His commandments, because this applies to every person. 14 For YAHUAH will bring every act to judgment, everything which is hidden, whether it is good or evil. Ecclesiastes 12:13-14

Every person should KEEP His commandments because each person will be judged based on our acts, DEEDS, WORKS, and not whether or not someone just has faith.

And He said to him, “Why are you asking Me about what is good? There is only One who is good, but if you wish to enter into life, keep the commandments.” Matthew 19:17

YAHUSHA himself is stating clear as day that if you want to enter into life then KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS. It doesn’t get much clearer than that.

“If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.” John 14:15

This is a direct quote from YAHUSHA; we choose to keep the commandments, because we love him, not for salvation.

“He who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will disclose Myself to him.” John 14:21

Again, direct from the mouth of YAHUSHA. If you love him keep the commandments.

1 Corinthians 7:19 Circumcision is nothing, and un-circumcision is nothing, but what matters is the keeping of the commandments of YAHUAH. 1 Corinthians 7:19

This is Paul, saying that what matters is KEEPING the commandments.

For this is the love of YAHUAH that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. 1 John 5:3

How do we show our love for YAHUAH? By keeping his commandments that are not grievous.

And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of YAHUAH, and have the testimony of YAHUSHA. Revelation 12:17

Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of YAHUAH, and the faith of YAHUSHA. Revelation 14:12

These last two verses are from a FUTURE event that have yet to happen, and we see that the dragon went to make war with who? The people who only believe in YAHUSHA? NO, it’s the people who KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS OF YAHUAH AND HAVE FAITH IN YAHUSHA.

There is overwhelming evidence in the Scriptures that faith alone is not sufficient. Just believing is not enough. Even the demons believe (James 2:19); there is also action on our part that is required to confirm our faith. Faith + Works = Grace. They are all intertwined, and Faith alone, or Works alone is not enough to get us into the Kingdom. This is the overwhelming message that Paul is teaching and the point that James is making here:

14 What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? 17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. But someone may well say, “You have faith, and I have works; show me your faith without the works, and I will show you my faith by my works.” James 2:14-18

Not just Faith, Not just Works, but Faith + Works = Grace.

The Birthright and the Scepter

An Analysis of the Prophecies of the Scriptures in regard to the Royal Family of Yahudah and the Many Nations of Yisrael, The Lost Ten Tribes.

THE BIRTHRIGHT

Ya’aqov (Jacob), he had twelve sons who of course fathered the twelve tribes of Yisrael. 

The promises were always given to the birthright son–the firstborn son who inherited the double portion so he could care for his parents in their old age. So far that birthright has passed from Avraham (Abraham) to Yitchaq (Isaac) and to Ya’aqov (Jacob). 

It should then have passed to Reuben being the oldest son, but was lost to him when Reuben defiled his father’s bed by sleeping with Ya’aqov’s (Jacob’s) concubine, Bilhah. 

Instead it was given to Yoceph (Joseph) as the oldest son of Ya’aqov’s (Jacob’s) other wife, Rachel.

Yoceph (Joseph) had two half Egyptian sons: Manasseh, the eldest, and Ephraiym. 

But instead of bestowing the birthright on Manasseh, Ya’aqov (Jacob) crossed his hands so his right hand landed upon the head of Ephraim. 

Despite Yoceph’s (Joseph) objections, the prophetic plan of YAHUAH was that Ephraiym would receive the double or larger portion.

The promises made to the brothers were:

Because they were half Egyptian they were adopted as Ya’aqov’s (Jacob’s) own and given his name making them equal with the other twelve sons. In future lists of the tribes, Manasseh and Ephraiym are among them and Ephraiym’s name used interchangeably with Yisrael, Samaria, Ya’aqov (Jacob), and other names for Yisrael.

They were to grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth (GEN. 48:16).

Manasseh was to become a great people.

Ephraiym was to be a MULTITUDE OF NATIONS.

Through them Yisrael was to be blessed (GEN. 48:19-20).

THE SCEPTER

Now Ya’aqov (Jacob) comes to his deathbed with his sons gathered about. Yahudah (Judah) the lion’s whelp was given: the sceptre. 

The praise of his brethren, the neck of his enemies, everything royal, including that all the children of Yisrael should bow down to his kingly line.

Why Yahudah (Judah)? 

It was a blessing upon him for restraining his brothers from killing Yoceph (Joseph), convincing them instead to sell the boy to the Ishmaelites (GEN. 37:36-3), and later taking responsibility for Benyamin’s (Benjamin’s) safe return, even offering himself as a replacement when Benyamin (Benjamin) faced prison in Egypt. YAHUAH never overlooks even the smallest good deed.

“As the birthright holder, Ya’aqov (Jacob) prophesies about Yoceph (Joseph) that:

he is a fruitful bough whose branches run over a wall;

he has been shot at and hated by archers (his brothers), but YAHUAH made his bow strong;

From him comes the Shepherd, the stone of YISRAEL;

he shall be blessed with offspring.”

There is a crown mentioned, and a separation from his brethren. Yoceph (Joseph) then was to be the father of the promised nations. These abundant blessings were bestowed upon Yoceph (Joseph) for submitting graciously to YAHUAH’s plans for him in Egypt. If he hadn’t, none of Yisrael would have survived the drought in Canaan.

It was prayed over Ruth at her marriage to Boaz that YAHUAH would make her like Rachel and Leah which two did build the house of Yisrael (RUTH 4:11). These sisters comprised two families: Rachel bestowed with the birthright and Leah with the sceptre.

The descendants of both women’s families remained together for a time as one nation: in Goshen; in slavery; in the wilderness; as they crossed the Jordan, drove out the Canaanites, demanded a king; and as subjects under Saul, David, and Shalomah (Solomon). When then they were divided, a son of the royal scepter family remained king over one kingdom, and a son of Yoceph (Joseph), an Ephraimite, became king over the other kingdom. Remember a crown was hinted at among the blessings of Yoceph (Joseph) (GEN. 49:26). Yoceph (Joseph) gained a crown by default because Shalomah (Solomon) broke YAHUAH’s covenant by taking strange wives. Just as no good deed is overlooked by YAHUAH, nor are the bad ones.

Shalomah’s (Solomon’s) son, King Rehoboam of the southern kingdom, sends his tax collector north. The only things he collects are rocks in the head when the people of King Yeroboam up there stone him to death. The division of the two families is declared to be of YAHUAH by the prophet Eliyahu (Elijah) (I KINGS 12:19-24).

The ten – tribe kingdom of the north retains, by YAHUAH’s appointment, the national name of Yisrael. The other kingdom became known as the House of Yahudah (Judah). 

This is ironic, for although Yisrael is today yet hidden, it remains Yisrael. Ex-idolators and former apostates, they generally worship YAHUAH and accept their Messiah despite not knowing they are Yisrael (trust me in this for now). 

But the Yahudiym (Jews) (Yahudah) (Judah) today, as a race and a nation, knowing their origins, fail to accept their Saviour but call themselves Yisrael!

The separation and independence of the birthright and scepter now complete, one is destined to become many nations, the other to bring forth the Messiah. 

Yaroboam made calves to worship, appointed priests not of Levi, devised unholy feast days, and sacrificed to the calves. He and his kingdom were therefore cursed to be uprooted and scattered (I KINGS 14:15-16).

THE SEPARATION

The Levites showed their displeasure at Yaroboam’s idolatrous deeds by leaving the northern kingdom to go to Yahudah (Judah) and Yerushalaiym (Jerusalem). There they joined their fellow Levites and the two other tribes of Yahudah (Judah) and Benyamin (Benjamin) left to Reheboam. 

NO OTHER NAMES BUT OF THESE THREE TRIBES ARE EVER USED IN PROPHECY OR HISTORY CONCERNING THE SOUTHERN KINGDOM.

From this point Scripture separates Yahudah (Judah) and Yisrael. Even today they remain separate. 

Both kingdoms and their people are called by other names with which we should be familiar if we are to understand prophecy. Yerushalaiym (Jerusalem) and Yahudah (Judah) are used for the Yahudiym (Jews). The people of (the northern kingdom of) Yisrael are NEVER called Yahudiym (Jews) in the Scriptures except by uninformed historians and un-Scriptural commentators of which there are many today, so beware, those interested in religious matters.

The first time Yahudah Judah) is referred to as ‘Jews’ is in II KINGS 16:6 when King Rezin of Syria drove the Yahudiym (Jews) out of Elath and besieged the Yahudiym (Jews) at Yerushalaiym (Jerusalem). Yisrael was with Rezin–the besieger; the Yahudiym (Jews) were the besieged. In point of fact, when these original manuscripts were written, the word Jew had not even been coined. They used ‘Yahudiym’ or ‘Yahudi’. Jews for today’s Yahudiym (Jewish) people was first used in the Middle Ages.

Names used for Yisrael include: Ya’aqov (YER.31:11); Samaria, Yisrael’s permanent capital (HOS. 8:5-6); Ephraiym, as the birthright kingdom (HOS. 7:1); Yoceph (Joseph), as the tribe from which the birthright son sprang (ZECH. 10:6-7); and Rachel, as mother of the birthright son (YER.31:15). HOSHIYAH (HOSEA) 6:4 differentiates between the two nations: O Ephraiym, what shall I do unto thee? O Yahudah, what shall I do unto thee? As does Husha (Hosea) in 5:12:15: Therefore will I be unto Ephraiym as a moth, and to the house of Yahudah as rottenness… There is no way this could refer to Ephraiym and his uncle Yahudah as both had been dead for a thousand years.

When King Rezin and Yisrael was besieging King Ahaz and the Yahudiym (Jews) at Yerushalaiym (Jerusalem), Yesha’yahu (7:8-9) prophesied to Ahaz about Ephraiym’s end: …within threescore and five (65) years shall Ephraiym be broken, that it be not a people. That was in 659 BC (I use the excellent Bible Chronology of Philip Mauro). Ephraiym’s end was in 640 BC. Yerushalaiym (Jerusalem) was taken and destroyed by Nebuchadnezzar in 507 BC, 152 years later. The 65 year span was not when Shalmaneser took the Yisraelites to settle in Assyria long before (II KINGS 18:9-11), but when Esar-haddon later deported and settled Assyrians to Samaria. These deportees later became known as Samaritans.

Yisrael and the Yahudiym (Jews) were the sons of different mothers, half-brothers only. The adoption by Ya’aqov (Jacob) of Ephraiym and Manasseh, because they were half Egyptian, in order to have the birthright conferred upon them is referred to by Paul in ROMANS 9:4: Who are the Yisraelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenant, and the giving of the Law, and the service of YAHUAH, and the promises; At the time of which he writes, both houses were still together, though the adoption refers only to Yoceph’s (Joseph’s) sons, not the Yahudiym (Jews) or Yahudah (Judah). For when was there ever an adoption among them?

So we can see from the above that a Yahudiym (‘Jew’) and ‘the Yahudiym (Jews)’ are not equivalent to an ‘Yisraelite’, ‘Yisrael’, ‘Hebrew’, or ‘Hebraic’. If we fail to comprehend this, prophetic statements will never make sense to us nor agree, not Yesha’yahu, Yirmeyahu, Husha, Yechezq”el, Miykah (MICAH), or the Renewed Covenant (New Testament). The Yahudiym (Jews) did not nor ever could fulfill the promises about Yisrael.

For instance, YAHUAH declared through Miykah that Yisrael was divorced and cast afar off and He would make her a strong nation, but Yahudah would become only a remnant. Other prophets wrote that Yisrael is lost. Yirmeyahu says Yahudah is few in number and a remnant. Yesha’yahu, David, MMiykah, Yirmeyahu, and others declared Yisrael to be the strongest war power on Earth, never to be conquered by the Gentiles. Yet Yirmeyahu declared Yahudah to be ‘without might’. She WILL be conquered by the Gentiles, laments Daniy’el (Daniel).

Which of course she was, in AD 70 by the Romans. AFTER the prophecy of Amoc (Amos) (9:14-15) which says YAHUAH’s people shall be planted and no more pulled up. Are any of my readers getting the clues?

Amidst the blessings and curses of DEUTERONOMY 28, verse 37 has: And thou shalt become an astonishment, a proverb, and a byword (a taunt), among all nations whither YAHUAH shall lead thee. The ten northern tribes having become lost with their whereabouts unknown, how could they be taunted? Yet the Yahudiym (Jews) were taunted and persecuted in all the nations whithersoever they tried to settle, and it was for this reason the modern state of Israel was formed. There are many other prophecies like these few.

THE RETURN

Long after both Yisrael and Yahudah (Judah) had been taken away, at the return of the Yahudiym (Jews) from Babylon, Zakaryahu prophesies the return of Beauty–Yisrael, and Bands–Yahudah (Judah). He likens them to two broken shepherd’s staffs, referring to their separation. Beauty was cast off first. Then, after YAHUAH in the form of a man, YAHUSHA, is sold for thirty pieces of silver, Bands will be cast off (11:7-14). Yechezq’el (Ezekiel) (37:16-17) speaks of these two sticks, not merely being put together again, but rejoined in such a way they become one stick again: Take thee one stick…For Yahudah, and for the children of Yisrael his companions: then take another stick…For YOCEPH (JOSEPH), the stick of EPHRAIYM, and for all the house of YIsrael his companions: And join them one to another into one stick: and they shall become one in thine hand.

Now we return to the Scripture of YECHEZQ’EL (EZEKIEL) 37:21-24 with which I started this set of posts (see One King Shall Be King to them All). It is then, when the two sticks are made one again (for it has not yet come to pass), that the children of YIsrael will be taken from among the heathen and brought back (Father will GATHER them on every side) into their own land. There they will be one nation in the land upon the mountains of YIsrael with one king…no more two nations…nor two kingdoms…And David His servant shall be king over them. They shall walk in YAHUAH’s judgments, and observe His statutes, under His covenant of peace, with His sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.

Apart from this day, yet in the future, there is not one word in Scripture to say that the Egypto-Ephraiymite birthright kingdom has ever returned to her former home in Samaria. This is entirely UNLIKE that of the Yahudiym (Jews) returning from Babylon which fills the books of EZRA, NEHEMYAH, HAGGAI, and ZECHARYAH, is spoken of in DANIEL and other books, and the Yahudiym (Jews) being among whom the Gospels are set.

This holy land, their former home, promised to them alone, awaits them. Even the Samaritans deported there were slain by lions until priests were sent for to teach them the ways of YAHUAH and to fear Him. They still, however, committed the former sins of that land – making other gods and sacrificing their children (II KINGS 17:25-41).

Father has made an unconditional promise to Ephraiym, whom He calls His firstborn, that a great company of them shall return thither (Yirmeyahu. 31:8). This is why Rachel is told by Him to cease weeping for her children which she has been doing since 617 BC or so until the present day (Yirmenyahu. 31:15). And where is this thither to which they are to return? To their own border (Yirmeyahu. 31:17). To these thy cities (Yirmeyahu. 31:21). To Samaria. To Ephraiym. To Rachel, Ya’aqov, Yoceph. To YIsrael.

In the historical portions of the New Testament, the ten northern tribes are mentioned only once: of Anna who was of the tribe of Asher (LUKE 2:36). He forebears must have fled the idolatrous north for Yerushalaiym (Jerusalem) back in the days of Yaroboam (II CHRON. 11-16).

Josephus the historian wrote in AD 95 that the ten tribes were beyond the Euphrates and were an immense multitude. Husha (Hosea) (1:10) declares the children of Yisrael shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured or numbered. He further states that they who lost their status as YAHUAH’s people for their idolatry will one day have it said of them: Ye are the sons of the living YAHUAH. This can in no way be said of Yahudah (Judah) for they WERE able to be numbered in order to be taxed by Caesar Augustus (LUKE 2:1).

Yisrael was to be scattered among the nations (EZE. 6:8). Even the Yahudiym (Jews) in YAHUSHA’s day knew this for they asked Him if He would go to these dispersed among the Gentiles (JOHN 7:35). The Pharisees called them this after the prophecies of Ezekiel and Zephanyah had also done so: And I will scatter thee among the heathen, and DISPERSE thee in the countries, and will consume thy filthiness out of thee (EZE. 22:15); From beyond the rivers of Ethiopia My suppliants, even the daughter of My DISPERSED, shall bring Mine offering (ZEPH. 3:10).

Of course the Yahudiym (Jews) of Yisrael today believe these dispersed peoples have already returned to their homeland with the airlifting of the black Ethiopian Yahudiym (Jews), the Russian and Yemeni Yahudiym (Jews), and many others to Yisrael. But these people are all called Yahudiym (Jews), insofar as they practice the religion of Judaism. None of them trace their ancestry back to any of the northern tribes. And unlike the lost Yisraelites, they do know who they are.

There are two further points to be made here. EZEKIEL 37:15-28 telling the full story of these retrieved Yisraelites and the one stick of Yisrael and Yahudah (Judah) has in verse 21 that YAHUAH will GATHER them on every side. This word gather ties this event in with the ‘gathering of the Elect’ during the Great Tribulation (MATT. 24:31). We have seen from previous posts that the Elect are in fact the TWELVE TRIBES or 144,000 of REVELATION 7. Not Yahudiym (Jews) but twelve tribes of YISRAEL.

What Is The Difference Between The Rod and The Staff?

The 23rd Psalm has the rod and the staff mentioned in the same verse so what are the main differences between a rod and a staff?

The 23rd Psalm

YAHUAH is my Shepherd; I shall not want.

He makes me to lie down in green pastures: he leads me beside the still waters. 

He restores my soul: he leads me in the cycles of righteousness for his name’s sake. 

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for you are with me; your rod and your staff they comfort me. 

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies: you anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over. 

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of YAHUAH forever.  

TEHILLIYM (PSALMS) 23:1-6

This might be one of the best known chapters in the entire Scriptures. Maybe it’s because we’ve all experienced our own valley of the shadow of death or been in deep, dark valleys. David had assurance that His Shepherd would lead him out of this valley. The Shepherd never promised to take him over the valley, around the valley, or to avoid the valley but He did promise to go with him through the valley. That’s why he was able to write that he would fear no evil (Psalm 23:4). He didn’t say that he could avoid the evil but he didn’t have to fear the evil because the Great Shepherd would go with him in his encounters with evil. Why did the psalmist have no fear? It was because the Shepherd had His rod and His staff with Him. For this reason, there was no need to fear but why does the Shepherd need both a rod and a staff? What’s the difference between the two?

Scriptural References of the Rod

David was a shepherd as a youth and he described his use of the rod to King Saul “Your servant used to keep sheep for his father. And when there came a lion, or a bear, and took a lamb from the flock, I went after him and struck him and delivered it out of his mouth. And if he arose against me, I caught him by his beard and struck him and killed him” (1st Sam 17:34-35). Rods were sometimes used as weapons of defense or offense and sometimes simply as a walking stick (Gen 32:10) but a few times the rod and the staff were referred to as the same thing since the Hebrew word for rod (shebet) means both a rod or a staff but it can also mean “a club” but most of the time the rod was a symbol of correction and discipline like when Solomon wrote Proverbs 13:24 “Whoever spares the rod hates his son, but he who loves him is diligent to discipline him.” In this proverb, it is talking about discipline and not using a literal rod to beat a child. By the way, this doesn’t give the person using the rod a free license to inflict harm as the law of YAHUAH said “When a man strikes his slave, male or female, with a rod and the slave dies under his hand, he shall be avenged” (Ex 21:10).

The Rod and Love

In the covenant that YAHUAH made with David YAHUAH said of Solomon,“I will be to him a father, and he shall be to me a son. When he commits iniquity, I will discipline him with the rod of men, with the stripes of the sons of men” (2nd Sam 7:14) so we know that YAHUAH does not mean that He would beat Solomon with an actual rod but YAHUAH was using this word as an expression of His discipline of Solomon when he would need it (and he would!). This is actually a sign of love because love = discipline since the opposite of love is not hate…it is indifference. Hebrews 12:6 says “YAHUAH disciplines the one he loves, and chastises every son whom he receives.” The psalmist declares “Blessed is the one you discipline, YAHUAH, the one you teach from your law” (Psalm 94:12) and “that in faithfulness you have afflicted me” (Psalm 119:75b) for surely “YAHUAH disciplines those he loves, as a father the son he delights in” (Prov 3:12).

Scriptural References of the Staff

Even today in many parts of the world, shepherds still carry rods and staffs to protect and care for their sheep but the staff has a significantly different meaning and use than the rod. The staff is symbolic of YAHUAH’s authority as His leaders were identified like in the case where Aaron’s rod which budded and was a sign to others that YAHUAH had ordained him alone as the high priest (Num 17) but also in ancient Yashar’el (Israel) a staff was given to military leaders (Judged 5:14). The staff in Moses’ hand was involved with the plagues given out to Egypt that indicated YAHUAH’s sovereignty over Egypt and that He was working through His servant Moses (Ex 7-10). The staff was also a referred to as a sign of a ruler like a king’s scepter which is what YESHA’YAHU (Isaiah) wrote “YAHUAH has broken the staff of the wicked, the scepter of rulers” (14:5) and of a nation when YAHUAH referred to Egypt as “that broken reed of a staff” (36:6).

YAHUSHA’ Rod and His Staff

YAHUSHA is called the Great Shepherd. He defends His sheep with His rod but He brings back the wandering or straying sheep with the shepherd’s crook. The staff has a curved end that fits the neck of the sheep perfectly and it is a gradual u-shape, meaning that it can take hold of little lambs as well as the grown sheep, using the same staff. He can defend the flock from the wolves by His rod and correct us by His rod when we need it and He can keep the sheep close to Him by the staff. This is how Micah referred to the staff, writing “Shepherd your people with your staff, the flock of your inheritance, who dwell alone in a forest in the midst of a garden land” (Micah 7:14).

Conclusion

YAHUAH loves us so much not to leave us to ourselves. He cares enough to discipline us with His metaphorical rod when we need it. If He didn’t love us, He’d let us wander off like sheep over a cliff. His rod protects us from the enemy and He uses His staff to keep us close to the Shepherd. YAHUSHA is the Great Shepherd and He uses both the rod when we need it and the staff when He needs to. They show the loving care of the Father and the Son of YAHUAH Who is the Great Shepherd for if the Shepherd starts off with one hundred sheep, He will surely bring home one hundred sheep so we too can say, as the psalmist said, “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me” (Psalm 23:4).

August 26, I posted this article about David Goldberg:“Dead Jewish Whistleblower Confirmed Occult WW3 Scenario.”

Goldberg, 59, was supposedly murdered on June 9. His “deadman’s switch” was supposedly activated in the form of this recording where he reveals that the White House has a project to “tag, track and identify” (“T, T & Id”) opponents of Zionist world government.

They plan to eliminate these people: The “high-value people” through extermination; the “low value” people through viruses. Goldberg estimates the total at 15 million. This information is consistent with the fanaticism of Cabalists throughout history.

Goldberg says Trump is an intrinsic part of this demented Zionist scheme. His first loyalty is to Israel. He is a con man first and foremost. This is all true. Except…

RED FLAG!!!! David Elias Goldberg was supposedly a journalist but google him. There is NOTHING. No other pictures. His image appears nowhere else on the Internet. No obituary. No funeral. There is no evidence this man actually existed. He is a “Fellow at the Jewish Center for Antisemitic Studies” which doesn’t exist. We are meant to discover all this.

Yet everything he says rings true. Think about it. Put out the truth and then discredit it. This may explain why the recording and this article are still up. Nothing to see here folks. Go back to sleep. (Dannielle Blumenthal was the first to raise this red flag.)

Goldberg is a Jewish psyop, probably ADL, but I still take his message seriously. David Goldberg supposedly was murdered on June 8. His “dead man’s switch” has been activated by this recording.

A White House “insider”, who he refers to as a male yet interviewed a female, supposedly gave Goldberg a trove of documents and memos which indicate that the Cabalists (the Chabad cult) fear the increasing awareness about Zionist plans for a tyrannical world government based in Israel. Here are his main points:

1. The growing awareness of the Cabalist agenda for world government is a problem for Zionists. They have been shutting down some websites like The Ugly Truth. But, Goldberg says, they have initiated other web sites which actually tell the truth in order to identify people who subscribe. He speculates that Adam Green’s Know More News is one of these but he does not know for sure. [Discrediting Green makes sense for Goldman, a Jewish psyop.] Goldberg calls these “gatekeeper” sites. He says Alex Jones is an obvious example. This “T, T & ID” program is called “Project Pogo.” Ironically, his own recordings actually may be fulfilling this function.

2. The second program is called “Project Zyphr.” This involves exterminating American opposition to Zionist world tyranny. He predicts power blackouts and/or a world financial crash will be used as a cover to round up opposition. A flu-like virus may be used. He speculates that it will go down in the winter of 2020-2021 after Trump’s reelection which is guaranteed.

It makes sense. This is why the Demonrats are behaving so badly. To elect Trump.

This is why they are pushing gun control and the motive behind all the mass shootings. The latest shooting was on Saturday. They often hire the same people to stage these shootings. ( See my Twitter feed for @Zyntrax.)

Trump is totally on board. He has been promised the title “King of Israel” and his family will have the highest status.

Trump recently referred to himself, in the trade context, as “the Chosen One,”…the “King of Israel.” Trump has called for the death penalty for all antisemites. The Noahide Laws say that people who worship Christ and refuse to serve the Jews should be guillotined.

3. Trump has been a conscious agent of this conspiracy for years. The script — “Make America Great,” Build the Wall, etc. — was all drafted five years ago. The election indeed may have been hacked …by Israel. The Russian collusion is all diversion.

“Trump loved the script,” Goldberg said. “He’ll be President. He’ll be able to do a lot of things he was already predisposed to do.”

JUDAS GOAT

If Goldberg is correct, Trump is false opposition, a Judas Goat, or Pied Piper leading Americans to destruction, like Hitler did to Germans, while pretending to defend their interests. (Consider also Steve Bannon’s connection to the Zionist mouthpiece, Breitbart.)

4. Goldberg says Trump’s speechwriter Stephen Miller, left, a Jew like Trump, is an ardent Zionist and plays a “big role” in the agenda.

5. Goldberg said he feared for his life. He sees black SUVs outside his residence which drive away when he approaches them. He has given friends copies of all the documents. He doesn’t care if he dies because “this is getting serious”…it is reaching a “terrifying new level.”

He estimates 15 million will die but “it could be more.”

But everyone will be caught up in the blackouts and “financial meltdown.” There will be food shortages and other mayhem which will be used to justify the new world government.

LITTLE PUSHBACK

I cannot vouch for this information but it would explain why I have received so little pushback. Yes, I am being partly shadowbanned on Google. But I suspect my Twitter followers and other readers are being identified.

I am not a witting part of “Project Pogo.” I am inspired by a belief in God and God’s purpose for humanity. Our lives are trivial if we are not doing God’s work in some fashion. This is our common purpose, our common meeting place. Humanity should be led by the very finest people instead of the dregs.

In conclusion, I believe Goldberg’s information is true but that he is a Cabalist Jewish psyop designed to discredit this very information. They always telegraph their intentions. His Jewish accent is a little too thick to be believable. He doesn’t exist. We will probably find his picture among “victims” of some mass shooting.

His recording probably functioned to do the job he was “warning” about, track “antisemites.” He said these “gatekeeper” sites get credibility by telling the truth, the very thing I believe he did.

I wanted to believe Goldberg was a Jewish martyr prepared to sacrifice his life to expose the madness of the Jewish leadership. This was not to be. It was another Jewish psyop. But it did reveal a lot of truth 1. Trump is first an agent of Israel and the NWO 2. Left and Right collaborate to advance the cabalist agenda 3. The period after Trump’s 2020 election is an ominous time.

Goldberg’s “information” will not deter me and I hope it won’t deter you. We must use our freedom to oppose this evil plot.

Man-Made Coronavirus Kills Hundreds (Bill Gates has a Vaccine for That)

It’s been 2 weeks since we first wrote about the novel coronavirus (nCoV-2019) originating in China. Since then, the official numbers have skyrocketed from 630 infections and 17 deaths to over 24,000 infections and roughly 500 deaths.

NaturalNews reports that China is actually keeping two sets of numbers, and that the actual numbers are much higher than the “official” numbers, with over 154,000 infected and almost 25,000 dead. Several nations have evacuated their citizens from china, while airlines have shut down flights to China and other countries.

On January 31st, President Trump declared that the novel coronavirus presents a public health emergency in the United States. That same day, under the guidance of the CDC, the White House Coronavirus Task Force announced a 14-day quarantine for Americans who recently visited Wuhan, China, the epicenter of the coronavirus outbreak.

Over the last two weeks, the Chinese government has quarantined roughly 50 million people in over a dozen cities – the largest quarantine in human history. Cruise liners carrying infected passengers have been denied entry into Japan and passengers will be quarantined on the ships for at least two weeks.

Major manufacturers like Apple and Adidas have shut down their stores and plants in China, and airlines have placed over 30,000 employees on unpaid leave. In the U.S., hundreds of Americans have been evacuated from the Wuhan area and will be immediately quarantined on military bases.

The measures being taken by governments around the world are drastic and unprecedented. The authority that these institutions are willing to assume in the face of a “health emergency” is concerning… and it’s only the beginning.

Social Media Increases Censorship

In the wake of the new virus, Facebook announced that it would remove any content about the coronavirus “with false claims or conspiracy theories that have been flagged by leading global health organizations and local health authorities,” saying such content would violate its ban on misinformation leading to “physical harm.”

This is a much more aggressive policy than Facebook has taken before. Up to this point, censorship efforts have mostly involved restricting search results and advertising while still allowing the content to remain published. The ban will also apply to Instagram, which will subject users to pop-up ads when they click on hashtags related to the virus.

Google has followed suit, pushing updates from the WHO to the top of search results involving the coronavirus. YouTube, owned by Google, will also make it harder to find independent information about the virus, promoting videos from public health organizations and mainstream media outlets.

Twitter said Wednesday that it would begin prompting users who search for the coronavirus to first visit official channels of information about the illness. In the United States, for example, Twitter directs users to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, beneath a bold headline that reads: “Know the facts.”

The campaign is running in 15 locations, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Australia, and “will continue to expand as the need arises,” the company said in a blog post.

Twitter has even banned financial market website Zero Hedge from the social media platform after it published an article linking a Chinese scientist to the outbreak of the fast-spreading coronavirus last week.

Zero Hedge had their account permanently suspended for violating “platform manipulation policy”. The account had 670,000 followers as of its suspension. The suspension was in response to a complaint by Buzzfeed which said Zero Hedge had released the personal information of a scientist from Wuhan in an article that made allegations about coronavirus having been concocted “as a bioweapon.” The article was titled “Is This the Man Behind the Global Coronavirus Pandemic?”

Tik-Tok, a Chinese-owned company, already removes posts and blocks users. This is standard practice in communist China, where state-run media and extreme surveillance of its citizens makes it easy to control what information is released.

The Digital Police State

The effort in China to silence free speech and control the narrative regarding coronavirus has been aggressive. According to a Reuters report:

At least 16 people have been arrested over coronavirus posts in Malaysia, India, Thailand, Indonesia and Hong Kong, while Singapore has used its controversial new “fake news” law, POFMA, to force media outlets and social media users to carry government warnings on their posts and articles saying they contain falsehoods.

“Fortunately, we now have POFMA to deal with this fake news,” said Lawrence Wong, one of the ministers heading a Singapore government task force to halt the spread of the virus.

At least five people were arrested and released on bail in India’s southwestern state of Kerala over WhatsApp messages, said Aadhithya R, District Police Chief of Thrissur. Six people were arrested in Malaysia on suspicion of spreading false news.

In Vietnam, where an army of cyber-censors tracks social media comments for the communist government, at least nine people have been fined and three celebrities asked to explain their actions over posts about coronavirus.

Thailand hailed the success of an “anti-fake news centre” it set up last year. Dozens of staff reviewed nearly 7,600 posts in four days from Jan. 25 – leading to 22 posts being highlighted as false on its website and two arrests under computer crimes laws.

“The anti-fake news centre is working intensively to verify these rumours and communicating truth to the people,” said Digital Minister Puttipong Punnakanta.

To make matters worse, it turns out that Chinese officials arrested 8 medical professionals who tried to warn people of the disease back in December. Each detainee was part of a medical school’s alumni group on WeChat, a popular social network in China, and they were concerned that SARS, Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome, was back. (SARS is a type of coronavirus.)

According to The Daily Beast:

It wasn’t long before police detained them. The authorities said these eight doctors and medical technicians were “misinforming” the public, that there was no SARS, that the information was obviously wrong, and that everyone in the city must remain calm. On the first day of 2020, Wuhan police said they had “taken legal measures” against the eight individuals who had “spread rumors.”

Since then, the phenomenal spread of the virus has created cracks even within the normally united front of the Chinese Communist Party. “It might have been fortunate if the public had believed the ‘rumor’ and started to wear masks, carry out sanitization measures, and avoid the wild animal market,” a judge of China’s Supreme People’s Court wrote online last Tuesday.

Li Wenliang, a doctor who was among the eight people who tried to sound the alarm before the coronavirus infected many thousands and killed hundreds, was diagnosed as someone infected with the coronavirus and is being treated at a hospital. Authorities are still actively censoring social-media posts and news articles that question the government’s response to the outbreak. One Wuhan man, Fang Bin, uploaded footage of corpses in a van and a hospital in Wuhan and was then tracked down and taken into custody. His laptop was confiscated, and he had to pedal for three hours on a bicycle to get home after he was questioned, warned, and released. His coronavirus video went viral.

Experts agree that this kind of aggressive censorship could make the virus even more lethal. Leaders within the Chinese government have put their political interests before the good of their people, and the results have been catastrophic thus far.

In recent days, medical experts have found evidence that the origin of the outbreak was not a seafood market in Wuhan, as the Chinese government initially reported. That evidence also suggests that the first human infections occurred in November, if not earlier, rather than in early December.

The true scope of the disease may be worse than we’ve been told. Public officials have been deleting investigative reports by journalists in the area, while many patients who have died of “regular pneumonia” were never tested for coronavirus.

Given the rapid spread of the virus and the enormous economic effects expected, censorship and propaganda are certain to continue — and to extend beyond China’s borders — as the regime seeks to protect its hold on power and international reputation. While Chinese authorities assure domestic and international audiences that their efforts will contain the outbreak, censors are busily deleting social media posts and journalists’ reporting that contradict the official narrative.

An International Conspiracy

Lies and secrecy are common in most communist nations, and China is no exception. It is well-documented that the information released during the SARS outbreak of 2003 was significantly redacted to minimize its true impact.

But what about here in America?

The Pirbright Institute is funded by the UK Department for Environment, Food, and Rural Affairs, the WHO, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. All of these entities have been loud supporters of mandatory vaccinations and more government control based on “health concerns.”

And for several years, Bill Gates has been telling us that a pandemic is coming, and in November of 2019, collaborating with the World Economic Forum, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation hosted “Event 201” where they ran a simulation of a coronavirus pandemic.

It should come as no surprise that – just yesterday – Bill and Melinda Gates announced that they would be donating $100 million to coronavirus vaccine research and treatment efforts, which were announced as part of the World Health Organization’s (WHO) request for $675 million in global contributions to fight the spread of the disease.

You can bet your bottom dollar that this vaccine will be heavily pushed on all Americans, and probably mandated in some states and cities. But what’s the truth behind the coronavirus?

The Truth About Coronavirus

Officials would have you believe that the new coronavirus began when someone ate contaminated bat soup at a Wuhan seafood and animal market, but that is a flat-out lie. And a paper published in The Lancet last week has the proof.

The paper, written by a large group of Chinese researchers from several institutions, offers details about the first 41 hospitalized patients who had confirmed infections with what has been dubbed 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV). In the earliest case, the patient became ill on 1 December 2019 and had no reported link to the seafood market, the authors report.

“No epidemiological link was found between the first patient and later cases,” they state. Their data also show that, in total, 13 of the 41 cases had no link to the marketplace. “That’s a big number, 13, with no link,” says Daniel Lucey, an infectious disease specialist at Georgetown University.

Lucey says if the new data are accurate, the first human infections must have occurred in November 2019—if not earlier—because there is an incubation time between infection and symptoms surfacing. If so, the virus possibly spread silently between people in Wuhan—and perhaps elsewhere—before the cluster of cases from the city’s now-infamous Huanan Seafood Wholesale Market was discovered in late December. “The virus came into that marketplace before it came out of that marketplace,” Lucey asserts.

The much more likely scenario is that a weaponized version of the virus was released (whether intentionally or not) by Wuhan’s Institute of Virology – a level-4 biohazard lab which was studying “the world’s most dangerous pathogens.”

The institute even has an ad for researchers to help use “bats to research the molecular mechanism that allows Ebola and SARS-associated coronaviruses to lie dormant for a long time without causing diseases.”

The job is for a lab run by Dr. Peng Zhou, Ph.D., a researcher at the Wuhan Institute of Virology and Leader of the Bat Virus Infection and Immunization Group. Since 2009, Peng has been the leading Chinese scientist researching the immune mechanism of bats carrying and transmitting lethal viruses in the world.

His primary field of study is researching how and why bats can be infected with some of the most nightmarish viruses in the world including Ebola, SARS and Coronavirus, and not get sick. As part of his studies, Peng also researched mutant Coronavirus strains that overcame the natural immunity of some bats; these are “superbug” Coronavirus strains, which are not resistant to any natural immune pathway, and now appear to be out in the wild.

The institute is about 13 miles away from the market that China claims as the source of the outbreak.

A study by 5 Greek scientists (published 1/27/2020) examined the genetic relationships of nCoV-2019 and found that “the new coronavirus provides a new lineage for almost half of its genome, with no close genetic relationships to other viruses within the subgenus of sarbecovirus,” and has an unusual middle segment never seen before in any coronavirus.

What exactly does that mean?  Basically, this means that we are dealing with a brand new type of ‘man-made’ coronavirus. The study’s authors rejected the original hypothesis that the virus originated from random natural mutations between different coronaviruses.

Dany Shoham, a former Israeli military intelligence officer who has studied Chinese biological warfare, has also linked the virus to China’s covert biological weapons program. Mr. Shoham holds a doctorate in medical microbiology. From 1970 to 1991, he was a senior analyst with Israeli military intelligence for biological and chemical warfare in the Middle East and worldwide.

“Certain laboratories in the institute have probably been engaged, in terms of research and development, in Chinese [biological weapons], at least collaterally, yet not as a principal facility of the Chinese BW alignment,” Mr. Shoham told The Washington Times. Work on biological weapons is conducted as part of dual civilian-military research and is “definitely covert,” he said.

In a sad turn of events, the Chinese doctor who tried to warn others about the Wuhan coronavirus, has died. Li Wenliang, a 34-year-old doctor working in Wuhan, raised the alarm about the novel coronavirus on December 30th. Soon after he posted the message, Li was accused of rumor-mongering by the Wuhan police. He was one of several medics targeted by police for trying to blow the whistle on the deadly virus in the early weeks of the outbreak. Li was hospitalized on January 12th after contracted the virus from one of his patients, and he was confirmed to have nCoV-2019 on February 1st.

The question is … If the Chinese made this virus in a lab, what was their purpose? And why did they arrest the doctor who tried to inform the rest of the world?

The world needs an answer.

Wolves in Sheep’s Clothing

As long as we continue to believe the lies promulgated by communist state-run media, we’re going to stay in the dark. Government agencies around the world have been happy to sensationalize the virus as an excuse for extreme control over their citizens.

People are being detained and quarantined. Travel and business have been seriously disrupted. The global economy is in turmoil. Scientists and journalists are being silenced and even arrested. And social media companies founded in the freest country on earth are deleting any content that suggests that this is a man-made problem.

People are scared. Tens of millions have had their lives put on hold. Hundreds have died in the last week.

But don’t worry… be healthy! There are herbs and natural substances that can have a profound effect on viruses and your immune function.

Surprise surprise!  Bill Gates, the WHO, and everyone else in the medical industry are working on a nCoV-2019 vaccine … a vaccine that they patented half a decade before the virus appeared … a virus that was created in a lab.

But that’s just a “coincidence,” right?

Call It What It Is: America Is A Police State

Over the years in my own articles, I have used the terms “creeping fascism,” “growing police state,” and “descent into totalitarianism” among others to describe the domestic situation in which we find ourselves. I have often written that, if Americans do not stand up to the myriad of laws being passed by federal, state, and local governments we will soon wake up to find ourselves in an Orwellian police state nightmare.

Now, however, I cringe whenever I read those words in contemporary articles. This is because such warnings are so far past their time they are utterly useless. In fact, they may do more to hurt any potential for change in American society than they do to promote it.

These warnings work on the supposition that the U.S. is not a police state yet but, if things do not change, it will become one in the future. Thus, the readers are left with the impression that, while their freedoms are being taken away, the police state is somewhere down the road – in the future – and they have plenty of time to entertain themselves until it comes knocking on their door with a uniform and a bright flashing neon sign that says “ATTENTION!!! POLICE STATE!!!”

But the police state is not coming – it is here.

The United States is a police state.

Americans may not be able to admit it to themselves but the military soldiers parading on the streets as police officers, police-operated tanks, and horrifying number of imprisoned citizens have spoken for them. The number of Americans brutalized physically and mentally by those who are sworn to “serve and protect” are speaking clearly enough.

The relatively recent concept of “pain compliance,” “rough interrogation,” and “rough rides” coupled with the long held tradition but fast increasing commonality of direct beatings, shootings, murders, and “on-site executions” by police in America have had the final say. Since 2003, police have killed more American citizens than were killed by “insurgents” in Iraq, a country whom the US invaded illegally and subsequently imposed a reign of terror upon.

The United States is now a country where millions of people are locked away in inhuman conditions of confinement, the overwhelming majority of them for crimes in which there was no victim.

From the federal, state, and local levels, behavior previously considered normal and innocuous is now mandated and regulated by a tangled web of government agencies. Of course, any disagreement or defiance of those mandates will result in a clash from the militarized police forces mentioned above and an eventual confinement to a cage where the offender is treated like an animal at best.

In the United States of 2016, children are regularly removed from parents by the State simply because of the parents’ economic status, political beliefs, or methods of upbringing. Surely no country that imprisons as many people as America, “enforces” oppressive law with military-style troops, and snatches children away from loving homes simply because those homes are not the ideal model of what the state desires can be called a free country.

With the recent increase of PC fascism enveloping the nation, even free speech and expression, no matter how ineffectual, is becoming regularly silenced by the long arm of the law.

Children are being routinely arrested for acting out in elementary school while citizens learn that their first “duty” in America is to “obey” police authority lest they be subject to brutal takedowns, torture, and possibly death.

This is the America many warned about years ago when they protested the militarization of police but were met with responses citing “officer safety” and “growing crime rates.” It is the America they warned about when they opposed the drug war but were met with programmed responses of a “drug-addicted youth” and “drug-related crimes.” It is the America many could see coming a mile away when the State-sponsored threat of terrorism was used to justify any and all means of “keeping us safe” and providing “security” to the frightened citizens of the world empire.

Those warnings were ignored and now we have the result.

It is now time to call the United States what it is – a police state.

The U.S. government is working hard to destabilize the nation.

No, this is not another conspiracy theory.

Although it is certainly not far-fetched to suggest that the government might be engaged in nefarious activities that run counter to the best interests of the American people, doing so will likely brand me a domestic terrorist under the FBI’s new classification system.

Observe for yourself what is happening right before our eyes.

Domestic terrorism fueled by government entrapment schemes. Civil unrest stoked to dangerous levels by polarizing political rhetoric. A growing intolerance for dissent that challenges the government’s power grabs. Police brutality tacitly encouraged by the executive branch, conveniently overlooked by the legislatures, and granted qualified immunity by the courts. A weakening economy exacerbated by government schemes that favor none but a select few. An overt embrace of domestic surveillance tactics if Congress goes along with the Trump Administration’s request to permanently re-authorize the NSA’s de-activated call records program. Heightened foreign tensions and blowback due to the military industrial complex’s profit-driven quest to police and occupy the globe.

The seeds of chaos are being sown, and it’s the U.S. government that will reap the harvest.

Mark my words, there’s trouble brewing.

Better yet, take a look at “Megacities: Urban Future, the Emerging Complexity,” a Pentagon training video created by the Army for U.S. Special Operations Command.

The training video is only five minutes long, but it says a lot about the government’s mindset, the way its views the citizenry, and the so-called “problems” that the government must be prepared to address in the near future through the use of martial law.

Even more troubling, however, is what this military video doesn’t say about the Constitution, about the rights of the citizenry, and about the dangers of locking down the nation and using the military to address political and social problems.

The training video anticipates that all hell will break loose by 2030—that’s barely ten short years away—but the future is here ahead of schedule.

We’re already witnessing a breakdown of society on virtually every front.

By waging endless wars abroad, by bringing the instruments of war home, by transforming police into extensions of the military, by turning a free society into a suspect society, by treating American citizens like enemy combatants, by discouraging and criminalizing a free exchange of ideas, by making violence its calling card through SWAT team raids and militarized police, by fomenting division and strife among the citizenry, by acclimating the citizenry to the sights and sounds of war, and by generally making peaceful revolution all but impossible, the government has engineered an environment in which domestic violence is becoming almost inevitable.

The danger signs are screaming out a message

The government is anticipating trouble (read: civil unrest), which is code for anything that challenges the government’s authority, wealth and power.

According to the Pentagon training video created by the Army for U.S. Special Operations Command, the U.S. government is grooming its armed forces to solve future domestic political and social problems.

What they’re really talking about is martial law, packaged as a well-meaning and overriding concern for the nation’s security.

The chilling five-minute training video, obtained by The Intercept through a FOIA request and made available online, paints an ominous picture of the future—a future the military is preparing for—bedeviled by “criminal networks,” “substandard infrastructure,” “religious and ethnic tensions,” “impoverishment, slums,” “open landfills, over-burdened sewers,” a “growing mass of unemployed,” and an urban landscape in which the prosperous economic elite must be protected from the impoverishment of the have nots.

And then comes the kicker.

Three-and-a-half minutes into the Pentagon’s dystopian vision of “a world of Robert Kaplan-esque urban hellscapes — brutal and anarchic supercities filled with gangs of youth-gone-wild, a restive underclass, criminal syndicates, and bands of malicious hackers,” the ominous voice of the narrator speaks of a need to “drain the swamps.”

Drain the swamps.

Surely, we’ve heard that phrase before?

Ah yes.

Emblazoned on t-shirts and signs, shouted at rallies, and used as a rallying cry among Trump supporters, “drain the swamp” became one of Donald Trump’s most-used campaign slogans.

Far from draining the politically corrupt swamps of Washington DC of lobbyists and special interest groups, however, the Trump Administration has further mired us in a sweltering bog of corruption and self-serving tactics.

Funny how the more things change, the more they stay the same.

Now the government has adopted its own plans for swamp-draining, only it wants to use the military to drain the swamps of futuristic urban American cities of “noncombatants and engage the remaining adversaries in high intensity conflict within.”

And who are these noncombatants, a military term that refers to civilians who are not engaged in fighting?

They are, according to the Pentagon, “adversaries.”

They are “threats.”

They are the “enemy.”

They are people who don’t support the government, people who live in fast-growing urban communities, people who may be less well-off economically than the government and corporate elite, people who engage in protests, people who are unemployed, people who engage in crime (in keeping with the government’s fast-growing, overly broad definition of what constitutes a crime).

In other words, in the eyes of the U.S. military, noncombatants are American citizens a.k.a. domestic extremists a.k.a. enemy combatants who must be identified, targeted, detained, contained and, if necessary, eliminated.

In the future imagined by the Pentagon, any walls and prisons that are built will be used to protect the societal elite—the haves—from the have-nots.

If you haven’t figured it out already, we the people are the have-nots.

Suddenly it all begins to make sense.

The events of recent years: the invasive surveillance, the extremism reports, the civil unrest, the protests, the shootings, the bombings, the military exercises and active shooter drills, the color-coded alerts and threat assessments, the fusion centers, the transformation of local police into extensions of the military, the distribution of military equipment and weapons to local police forces, the government databases containing the names of dissidents and potential troublemakers.

The government is systematically locking down the nation and shifting us into martial law.

This is how you prepare a populace to accept a police state willingly, even gratefully.

You don’t scare them by making dramatic changes. Rather, you acclimate them slowly to their prison walls.

Persuade the citizenry that their prison walls are merely intended to keep them safe and danger out. Desensitize them to violence, acclimate them to a military presence in their communities, and persuade them that there is nothing they can do to alter the seemingly hopeless trajectory of the nation.

Before long, no one will even notice the floundering economy, the blowback arising from military occupations abroad, the police shootings, the nation’s deteriorating infrastructure and all of the other mounting concerns.

It’s happening already.

The sight of police clad in body armor and gas masks, wielding semiautomatic rifles and escorting an armored vehicle through a crowded street, a scene likened to “a military patrol through a hostile city,” no longer causes alarm among the general populace.

Few seem to care about the government’s endless wars abroad that leave communities shattered, families devastated and our national security at greater risk of blowback.

The Deep State’s tactics are working.

We’ve allowed ourselves to be acclimated to the occasional lockdown of government buildings, Jade Helmmilitary drills in small towns so that special operations forces can get “realistic military training” in “hostile” territory, and  Live Active Shooter Drill training exercises, carried out at schools, in shopping malls, and on public transit, which can and do fool law enforcement officials, students, teachers and bystanders into thinking it’s a real crisis.

Still, you can’t say we weren’t warned about the government’s nefarious schemes to lock down the nation.

Back in 2008, an Army War College report revealed that “widespread civil violence inside the United States would force the defense establishment to reorient priorities in extremis to defend basic domestic order and human security.” The 44-page report went on to warn that potential causes for such civil unrest could include another terrorist attack, “unforeseen economic collapse, loss of functioning political and legal order, purposeful domestic resistance or insurgency, pervasive public health emergencies, and catastrophic natural and human disasters.”

In 2009, reports by the Department of Homeland Security surfaced that labelled right-wing and left-wing activists and military veterans as extremists (a.k.a. terrorists) and called on the government to subject such targeted individuals to full-fledged pre-crime surveillance. Almost a decade later, after spending billions to fight terrorism, the DHS concluded that the greater threat is not ISIS but domestic right-wing extremism.

Meanwhile, the government has been amassing an arsenal of military weapons for use domestically and equipping and training their “troops” for war. Even government agencies with largely administrative functions such as the Food and Drug Administration, Department of Veterans Affairs, and the Smithsonian have been acquiring body armor, riot helmets and shields, cannon launchers and police firearms and ammunition. In fact, there are now at least 120,000 armed federal agents carrying such weapons who possess the power to arrest.

Rounding out this profit-driven campaign to turn American citizens into enemy combatants (and America into a battlefield) is a technology sector that has been colluding with the government to create a Big Brother that is all-knowing, all-seeing and inescapable. It’s not just the drones, fusion centers, license plate readers, stingray devices and the NSA that you have to worry about. You’re also being tracked by the black boxes in your cars, your cell phone, smart devices in your home, grocery loyalty cards, social media accounts, credit cards, streaming services such as Netflix, Amazon, and e-book reader accounts.

All of this has taken place right under our noses, funded with our taxpayer dollars and carried out in broad daylight without so much as a general outcry from the citizenry.

And then you have the government’s Machiavellian schemes for unleashing all manner of dangers on an unsuspecting populace, then demanding additional powers in order to protect “we the people” from the threats.

Seriously, think about it.

The government claims to be protecting us from cyberterrorism, but who is the biggest black market buyer and stockpiler of cyberweapons (weaponized malware that can be used to hack into computer systems, spy on citizens, and destabilize vast computer networks)? The U.S. government.

The government claims to be protecting us from weapons of mass destruction, but what country has one the deadliest arsenals of weapons of mass destruction and has a history of using them on the rest of the world? The U.S. government. Indeed, which country has a history of secretly testing out dangerous weapons and technologies on its own citizens? The U.S. government.

The government claims to be protecting us from foreign armed threats, but who is the largest weapons manufacturer and exporter in the world, such that they are literally arming the world? The U.S. government. For that matter, where did ISIS get many of their deadliest weapons, including assault rifles and tanks to anti-missile defenses? From the U.S. government.

The government claims to be protecting the world from the menace of foreign strongmen, but how did Saddam Hussein build Iraq’s massive arsenal of tanks, planes, missiles, and chemical weapons during the 1980s? With help from the U.S. government. And who gave Osama bin Laden and al-Qaida “access to a fortune in covert funding and top-level combat weaponry”? The U.S. government.

The government claims to be protecting us from terrorist plots, but what country has a pattern and practice of entrapment that involves targeting vulnerable individuals, feeding them with the propaganda, know-how and weapons intended to turn them into terrorists, and then arresting them as part of an elaborately orchestrated counterterrorism sting? The U.S. government.

For that matter, the government claims to be protecting us from nuclear threats, but which is the only country to ever use a nuclear weapon in wartime? The United States.

Are you getting the picture yet?

The U.S. government isn’t protecting us from terrorism.

The U.S. government is creating the terror. It is, in fact, the source of the terror.

Just think about it for a minute: 

Cyberwarfare. Terrorism. Bio-chemical attacks. The nuclear arms race. Surveillance. The drug wars.

Almost every national security threat that the government has claimed greater powers in order to fight—all the while undermining the liberties of the American citizenry—has been manufactured in one way or another by the government.

Did I say Machiavellian? This is downright evil.

We’re not dealing with a government that exists to serve its people, protect their liberties and ensure their happiness. Rather, these are the diabolical machinations of a make-works program carried out on an epic scale whose only purpose is to keep the powers-that-be permanently (and profitably) employed.

It’s time to wake up and stop being deceived by government propaganda.

Mind you, by “government,” I’m not referring to the highly partisan, two-party bureaucracy of the Republicans and Democrats.

I’m referring to “government” with a capital “G,” the entrenched Deep State that is unaffected by elections, unaltered by populist movements, and has set itself beyond the reach of the law.

I’m referring to the corporatized, militarized, entrenched bureaucracy that is fully operational and staffed by unelected officials who are, in essence, running the country and calling the shots in Washington DC, no matter who sits in the White House.

Be warned: in the future envisioned by the government, we will not be viewed as Republicans or Democrats. Rather, “we the people” will be enemies of the state.

For years, the government has been warning against the dangers of domestic terrorism, erecting surveillance systems to monitor its own citizens, creating classification systems to label any viewpoints that challenge the status quo as extremist, and training law enforcement agencies to equate anyone possessing anti-government views as a domestic terrorist.

What the government failed to explain was that the domestic terrorists would be of the government’s own making, and that “we the people” would become enemy #1.

As I make clear in my book, Battlefield America: The War on the American People, we’re already enemies of the state.

You want to change things? Start by rejecting the political labels and the polarizing rhetoric and the “us vs. them” tactics that reduce the mass power of the populace to puny, powerless factions.

Find common ground with your fellow citizens and push back against the government’s brutality, inhumanity, greed, corruption and power grabs.

Be dangerous in the best way possible: by thinking for yourself, by refusing to be silenced, by choosing sensible solutions over political expediency and bureaucracy.

When all is said and done, the solution to what ails this country is really not that complicated: decency, compassion, common sense, generosity balanced by fiscal responsibility, fairness, a commitment to freedom principles, and a firm rejection of the craven, partisan politics of the Beltway elites who have laid the groundwork for the government’s authoritarian coup d’etat.

Let the revolution begin.
